About a week ago Tatiana cut my hair. She did a great job cutting my hair and making my hair straight! She asked a lot of questions regarding what I was looking. And she didn't cut all my hair off like most stylist do. She also has reasonable prices compared to the overpriced places in Irvine. However, this weekend I had her do an up do for my WEDDING! I provided several pictures of what I was looking for. After 1.5 hours of trying to do the up do I asked for it to be washed and just blow dry it straight (another hour). My hair looked like I had a helmet head. The picture on the left is me. The picture on the right is what I wanted to look like. I wish she had told me she had not done this hairstyle before. I was late to almost everything because of this. I had provided a lot of extra time so I would not be in a rush but this really held things back. So after 2.5 hours I had straight hair for my wedding that cost me $70 :( The only reason this review is not 1 star is because she did redo my hair and blow dried it straight. By far one of the best and affordable hairstylist I have found near Irvine. I came in for a trim, mind you that I have not cut my hair in months and it dried out and became a bit frizzy. It was my first time, and making an appointment with her was easy and she responds quickly on yelp. When I got there the ambience was soothing and relaxing. After explaining to her that I wanted to keep my length and put in layers into my hair, she quickly understood what I wanted. She was light handed with my washing, and definitely took her time to get my hair right. By the end of it, my bangs were on point and my hair seemed longer than when I got there. $20 for men's haircut with a wash! Book an appointment! I've been looking for a new haircut place for quite a while now, and luckily I found Tatiana! The actual location was a bit hard to find because it is in the Phenix Salon Suites. I called and she helped me find her in suite #109! When I walked in I was happily greeted and felt very comfortable, unlike many places I have been before. Tatiana is very knowledgable and passionate about her work, which shows in the finished product! Very professional with enjoyable conversation. During the haircut she asked part way through how I liked it and if there was anything else or a different way I would like it done, which was very considerate, considering many hair stylists just ask how you feel at the end when it may be too late! I left feeling very good about my decision and only costing $20 for a men's haircut with a wash! My haircut is exactly what I was looking for. I am going to recommend this to all of my friends.
