We frequently visit both Cheese Courses in Miami. The location in Pinterest has the slowest service ever! Waited over 30 mins for 3 sandwiches. The cashier/waiter came to our table to verify our sandwich order 30 minutes after we placed it. Thats when they started our sandwiches. This isn't the first time this happens. Kitchen staff seems to be disorganized as they bring out sandwiches that were ordered after ours. Service is deadly slow at this location. It's never full at night so I don't understand why the long wait?! They gave me a discount on my second glass of wine for our long wait. Which was insulting because it was only .40 cents less than the first glass of wine. Arrived at the restaurant at 7:45. Was greeted by a hostess who was very nice until she informed us that they were closing by 8:30 because we wanted to dine in. I find that to be very unprofessional from them so I responded hopefully you can cook fast enough so we can eat. I have never had that encounter at any restaurant even when we have walked in close to the closing time. I thought service to patrons was the upmost importance. Food was great but hostess should have known better. So we finished by 8:15 with our order. We went inside todag expecting a mediocre experience with the staff and the food but we were wrong. We immediately got greeted and were able to sit wherever. Our waiter was short and throughout the whole time had a huge smile on his face and treated me and my husband like we were his friend. My husband ordered a sandwich and I, a salad, both being great and delightful to eat we kept being distracted by the decor of the restaurant and it's cleanliness, this is a great little restaurant for dates. The ambiance is extremely nice and the hot sandwich that I had was really flavorful (the grilled chicken) I also had the broccoli soup and that was my FAVORITE! First visit on Friday and it was probably my last. They advertised on their web and Facebook page that they would have complimentary Fondue tasting. It was cancelled. Half way through our meal, we realize that we never received the 2 glasses of wine and were missing a few items from the cheese platter. Once we brought it to the attention of the girl behind the counter, it was corrected but the entire situation left a bad impression with us. The fondue was OK, the tea-light did not last very long and the cheese quickly hardened. On a positive note, the staff was very knowledgeable on the wine and cheese pairings. The table top where dirty and full of other people's plates and crumbs. The decor is nice. The food is ok. You would think a cheese store would know better in serving cheese cold. I have been at this particular cheese course several times. The young lady at the register was very cordial and helpful. I was very disappointed in the older man. He reprimanded the young employee who was taking what seamed to be taking a large order on the phone. He seemed upset that a customer called him to wait on him. He reprimanded the young girl who was doing her the best she could. He made a comment in front of customers which was very inappropriate . You think he would know better. I haas the chicken Cesar salad here. Everything is fresh. The chicken in other places tends to be fatty and not as good. But this chicken tasted fresh and not processes.
