    Classic Cheeseburger w/fries
    Oscar A.

Not a bad place to grab a good bite to eat. Came here for a lunch break from Uber driving. Ordered the classic cheeseburger with fries. The burger was pretty good and prepared to my liking. Medium rare of course. The burger was put together very well and did not fall apart after each bite. Fries were pretty good as well as the service.

Wow, Cotoa blew it out of the park for us. To start, the service was amazing. Our server let us…read moreknow about Cotoa's conception and recommended a few dishes as well. We went with two mains - the Cangrejada con Patacon and the Tonga de Langostinos Ecuatorianos The Cangrejada con Patacon was our 10/10 dish. The presentation is stunning, but the flavor... the dish is surrounded by a rich tomato/coconut sauce and the sweetness from the plantains, plus the crunch from the patacones, and the generous amount of crab meat - I've never had a dish like it. The Tonga de Langostinos Ecuatorianos was also great 9/10. It's set in a mildly spicy peanut sauce and the langostinos are slightly charred which gives the dish a nice smoky flavor.

Need to try again…read more I've had Cotoa on my radar for a while and found a convenient reservation and jumped on the opportunity. First things first, reservations are more or less necessary, so I highly recommend making one. When you first walk in, you are immediately greeted by the host who guides you into the dining area. This area is relatively small, but good enough for small groups or parties of 2-4; additionally, it's an inviting atmosphere, perfect to enjoy a long meal (which you will need, more on that in a bit). The menu has a wide array of options; you can find some snacks for around $15, then ceviche for ~$25, and mains ranging from $40-65. So be prepared to spend $40-50 per person. During our visit, we tried two ceviches and el pincho. The ceviches were incredible, easily the best "red" ceviches I have ever had. Each bite was a blast of flavor and textures; you can taste the freshness, feel the crunch, and enjoy the combination of flavors. As for the hanger steak, it was quite high quality, perfectly cooked, but nothing out of the ordinary; it lacked that special twist that the ceviche had. Another exceptional part of the experience was the service; although food takes a long time to be ready, so be prepared for this. Our servers made sure we had a great experience from being careful about allergies to making recommendations; simply 5 stars. All in all, Cotoa is definitely a 5-star experience when it comes to the "Pacific" dishes, really something delicious and unique, while some of the other options left a bit to be desired. I have to go back again and try some of the other entrees and will adjust this review as needed. My Criteria 5 stars: The best food I have ever had, or an excellent option given the price. 4 stars: Good food, a restaurant I look forward to trying again. 3 stars: Good food, a restaurant that I am indifferent to. 2 stars: Below average experience, will not go again. 1 stars: This restaurant should be closed.

You're then given a buzzer and can take a seat to wait for perfection to be made. The restaurant itself is really nice. The dark decor makes for a sassy burger bar. Once you're order is ready, head back up, grab your tray and prepare to be transported to flavor town. I went with the Crispy Truffle burger and omg... Amazing!!! I can't believe it took me this long to try it. The meat was cooked to perfection and the combo of the truffle sauce and crispy onions made for the perfect bite. As a side I tried the LBB taters which were sooooo interesting. Slighty spicy from the jalapenos and slighty sweet from the maple syrup. So good! Also shoutout to the staff! They're walking around making sure everything is up to standards. Love that they're watching out for the customers and take pride in their work.

La Birra Bar is a great spot for a casual and quick lunch. I went for the Golden Burger with fries,…read moreand it definitely delivered. The flavor and overall food quality were excellent. The burger had that classic local bar feel but slightly elevated, which makes it stand out without trying too hard. The price is on par with the quality you get, so you leave feeling like it was worth it. It is not over the top fancy, just a really solid burger done right. I would recommend it for quick lunches or casual hangouts when you want something satisfying and reliable. Definitely a spot I would go back to.
