We've had great servers and servers with an interesting attitude as well so I guess it depends on who you get. Biggest issue is the fact that they allow people to smoke in their outdoor eating area, so keep that in mind if you ask for a table outside. Last evening we had dinner at this location. We hadn't been here in a while. We were surprised that a few things had changed since we were last here. I'll start with the positive first. The vibe is still casual and comfortable. The bright green string lights are a plus and liven up the decor. There are plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sports. The bar area is still a happy place. There is also plenty of outdoor seating. The hostess was friendly and did greet us. However, the quality of service has gone down and it was disappointing to experience it. To begin with, there were no utensils at our table. Neither the hostess nor our server noticed that. After our order arrived to our table, we still were without forks and knives. There were no servers around to ask and we hadn't seen our server, Estrella, in a while. Since no-one checked on us, my daughter had to get up and go into the bar and try to find someone to help. When the utensils were brought out to us, we noticed that they were not the same quality that they used to have. These were low quality and were poorly made and uncomfortable to the touch (left indentations on my fingers and palm). The next problem was that after we ate our main courses (one was the rack of ribs), Estrella came to drop off the dessert but neglected to remove the stack of dirty napkins and plates from the table. So we had to eat our dessert with a mess next to us. She never asked if we needed more water so that was that. A male server ended up cleaning off our table. I'm hoping the good service we used to get at this location will resurface. We had ordered 2 of the Joe's Soecials: the Prime Rib with baked potato, salad, and garlic rolls for me, and the Rack of Ribs and fries, rolls, and salad for my daughter. Both meals came with choice of house wine: red, pink or white. We chose red and they were ok. The meals were good and seasoned just right. The prices were very reasonable. Parking is free and close to the front entrance. We will probably stick to the other Flanigan locations in the future (Surfside and Hallandale were always great). read more

We decided to do takeout for Memorial Day and that was the best thing. The restaurant was packed with people but our order was done on time and the staff was friendly and attentive for pick up. I ordered the 1/2 ribs and shrimp combo with a baked (butter, sour cream, cheese and bacon bits) and a side of coleslaw. Everything was delicious and ribs were tender to point of falling off the bone. The bbq sauce is so good and the shrimp was good with a well seasoned breading. Food was good , service was great by Paris ....until we were bother and harassed by a security guy who was super rude to us thinking that we had liquor at the table...we will NEVER go back to the north Miami location, we had never been so disrespected , that was a terrible experience since we are such good costumers of this place. I am a long time Flanigan's person (multiple locations) and as always the wings were wonderful. This is my second time at this location and the service was not great the first time, but this time it was really not good. This rating is solely for the food. Good: Seated right away outside Bad: Table was to small for 3 people Good: The food prices are still very reasonable and I love the 10 wing lunch special. Bad: How did my bill for 10 wings, a salad a drink come to $ 20.00 plus tip...the waiter charged me for an extra dressing, for example, but I never go the original dressing. The waiter first delivered both salads with dressing on the side without dressing, then when dressing came it was wrong. Waiter addressed and I got dressing. He also did not mention the salad upcharge of $ 2.99 or why there was the .99 extra dressing charge. Good: Food came pretty quickly and was wonderful! Waiter did check in. Bad: Our waiter was MIA for a bit when we were first seated. To the point when he did come over to take drink order we placed our food order as well to speed up the process. He got the drink orders wrong. The dressing and the lack thereof. I asked for a container, bag and lid. I asked 3x and just got a container. I got my own bag. I gave up on the iid. He also knocked over my other friend's drink all over himself and did not offer him a refill. I stopped in for lunch and took advantage of their amazing deal--10 wings with fries for just $6.99 with the purchase of a drink. I also ordered my go-to favorite, the Firecracker Shrimp. The wings were delicious, and I personally love them plain with the house-made BBQ sauce on the side--that's how you know they're good! As for the Firecracker Shrimp, it never disappoints. It has a slight kick, served on a bed of lettuce with a flavorful, creamy sauce drizzled over the top. The service is always fast and great, making the dining experience even better. Went there a couple of weeks ago with a couple of French Canadian friends who do not speak a word of English so our conversations were in French only. My husband and I are fluently bilingual. We all ordered Joe's Meal Deals which includes a Salad, Main Course and Wine or Beer. The food and service were OK but not as good as usual. The issue was with the billing. We both had a WASTE charge added to our bills. Ours was almost $12 and theirs around $8. I asked the waiter what this charge was and he could not offer an explanation and got quite flustered. He had a manager come see us who told us it was probably a GLITCH!! and came back with the real bills (without the WASTE charge). My French speaking friends would have paid the bill, including the waste, since they do not speak any English and were unable to ask what this charge represented. Personally, I don't believe in the Glitch explanation but would really like to know what this is all about. read more
