I have to write this review mainly because of what just transpired this past weekend…read more Circle E became my favorite candlemaker a few years ago, with their Leather scent shooting right to the top of best candles I've ever put my nose in (their Gardenia is a close second). I was in Fredericksburg this past Saturday shopping, and accidentally left a small coinpurse of mine on their counter while juggling other items in my hands. I didn't realize it until I got home later that night (I live about 4 hours away), so I called when they opened on Sunday to see if they had it. They did, and I asked if they could mail it to me since I live so far and wouldn't be making it back anytime soon (sadly). Not only did they mail it back to me without hesitance, they must have overnighted it because it's Tuesday afternoon and I just received my purse, contents and all. HUGE EPIC thank you to the employees of Circle E! I cannot thank them enough for doing this. I fully expected someone else to have snatched it up, or for them to mail it regular mail, which would've been fine. But no, they went truly above and beyond. You guys were my favorites already, but now you'll stay there forever. Thank you again!

Many of the candle displays were empty, and several scents I wanted weren't available. When I asked if they knew when those fragrances would be back in stock, the staff couldn't provide any estimate. Another issue was that all of the candles started to smell the same after a few minutes. Most candle stores provide coffee beans to help reset your sense of smell between fragrances, but there weren't any available here, making it difficult to compare scents. The two employees working during my visit were not helpful and didn't seem interested in assisting customers. Between the poor selection, lack of product knowledge, and disappointing customer service, the visit wasn't worth the trip. I left empty-handed and will likely order elsewhere if I decide to purchase Circle E Candles in the future. June 2026

Their candles are amazing, and it felt great supporting such kind people and a small business. The owners were incredibly friendly, and we loved connecting over our military ties. It's so nice knowing there are still genuinely good people in the world! I'm absolutely obsessed with the Bluebonnet candle -- it perfectly captures that Texas spring feeling and made the perfect souvenir from our trip. Still, with lots of customers (at least while I was there) you'd think they would be a little more....friendly. In the back room are discounted candles that don't appear to be old scents, but for $3 instead of the $5.95 for the ones in the front room-yes! please! Quite a few scents and the most darling packaging-for $23.95 you can get a big candle in a glass jar that burns for over 40hours!

They told me it was "premium quality" and "the best I could find". It was $40 bucks. After I bought it I opened it and I saw the color and I literally thought it was a joke. The matcha inside was a brownish green color. PREMIUM matcha is supposed to be bright green for anyone that didn't know . So anyways, I looked on amazon and saw the same product being sold for $20.
