This is a converted house with all the charm of the best of the "dive bar" gestalt. It was Christmastime, so the whole place looked like the inside of a Christmas package. It was just a fun place to be where people are loud, friendly, and fun. sYou can tell it all stems from the ownership. Granted all I had was beer, but they had some good beers on tap, and a huge variety of bottled beers behind the bar. This is a place packed with atmosphere. It's a must visit if you live within 50 miles...serioiusly! As you know, a bar isn't something you design. It's a feel and atmosphere you create from management and bartenders. These are the important players in sustaining a fun atmosphere. It is they who bring in the crowd they want. These folks put on no airs and lots of fun. You can meet all kinds of people and talk about everything and anything. You can't do that at a regular bar today, too many "yuppies." Not here. Just a fun place to spend an afternoon or evening!

I found this place on one Saturday evening when I biked around the town. Based on 3-star rating on…read moreYelp, especially about their service, I was initially hesitated to stop here for my dinner. From the outside, this place looks like a dive bar, nothing very attractive. In fact, it looks a bit disturbing to me. But, I was so hungry and I thought the worst case I would just only get one drink if the service was an issue as many people complained on Yelp and go somewhere else. I decided to sit at the bar. The bartender came to greet me immediately and asked me whether I looked for just a drink or food as well. She said that every Saturday they have special which is steak with salad and another one side dish (e.g. green bean, baked potato, fries, onion ring, sweet potatoes fries) for $10. $10 for that kind of food sounds unreal to me, so I decided to give it a shot. It was surprisingly great! The salad was fresh with good portion and the steak was huge. on top of that, my bartender was very attentive and friendly too. I left this place on that evening with very impressive feeling about the place. I, however, was quite confused about what people complained on their service since the service I had on that evening was great. I decided to go back to this place again a week later.. and for sure it was Saturday evening since I wanted to get the $10 steak meal again :). The place was packed and I couldn't find the available seat to sit at the bar. So, I had no option beside sitting at the table. I waited about 10 minutes until one waitress came to greet me and asked for drink. The waitress was actually a bartender too (but not the one I met on my last visit). Everything was soooooo slow. I decided to move to the bar immediately when the bar seats were available. Once I sat at the bar, the same bartender I met on my last visit - her name is Amanda - came to greet me and get my order immediately. I started to understand more about those complaints from people about the slow service here. I guessed that they probably sat at the table, not the bar area, which I just experienced the same thing. I ordered the steak meal and again it was great as I got last time. After the second visit, I always come to this place on Saturday evening for their special meal, either the $10 steak meal or $14 salmon. Both dished are phenomenal., not kidding! Both Steak and Salmon are huge. I don't think I can find any of this deal, quality, and taste at any restaurant/bar around this area. Overall, I think this place is a little gem that you should try. They, however, have the under staffing issue for sure. Their bartenders actually work as a waitress and food runner as well. With many redundant tasks, I think that causes the slow and inattentive service and the frustration for those people sitting at the tables. Beside the under-staffing issue, based on my own repeated experience, I found that not all staffs here are friendly. I have been visiting this place for almost 10 times now and came to the conclusion that only three bartenders that I would like to get a service from. One is Amanda. She seems to be the youngest one among all of them and great looking with long hair. Another one is one with the eye glasses on. I didn't asked her name. I think she is the only one with the glasses though. And, the last one I didn't ask her name either. I'll ask their names on my next visit if I see them and will update this info again. Some tips: - Please "do not expect any fanciness from here". It is just a small bar. - Try to sit at the bar if you want a fast service. - Try to go there on Saturday evening for steak or salmon specials - Look for those bartenders I mentioned. P.S. In my thought right now, I think shouldn't tell you guys these tips since I have to fight harder for the seat at the bar on Saturday evening :) JK .....Good luck everyone

I would rather drink Malort straight from the teats of a dumpster adjacent opossum than set foot in this place again. The waitress rocked. You guys already know Wolfey's is the best bar/grille and thats why they've been here forever!!!!!…read moreMe and my coworkers came here after a long shift for food & drinks and they delivered fast! We ordered all over the place, some with burgers, some with pizzas...even some wish pasta!!! All plates were delicious & worthy of taking home for leftovers!!! My favorite truly might have been the chips with that French onion dip (had me in a chokehold!) I would go back just for chips & dip. I am sure we will end up here again and I can't wait!! Definitely recommend Wolfey's for some dinner or drinks....or both - because why not?? CHEERS!

They sat us by ourselves in a section just before the patio. We were alone but soon others were sitting by us as well. Our sever was prompt and very friendly. I was a bit nervous since we were originally alone that the server might forget about us. But she did not. We asked her some questions on the menu and ordered. I got a small Greek salad and 6 Cajun wings with the signature BBQ on the side. My partner got the chicken bruschetta sandwich. They came out all st once and promptly. The salad is a decent size. It was full of stuff it was good. The dressing was supposed to be to be a red wine vinaigrette but it tasted more mustard forward. Not my favorite but ok. Not sure if the red wine vinaigrette was not available. The wings were a good size and covered in the Cajun dry rub. They were crispy and good. I enjoyed them. The Cajun seasoning was really good and very generous. The BBQ side was good as well. The chicken bruschetta sandwich was good. The foccacia it was on was toasted and good. The chips they make homemade and serve with everything. Service was good. The TV's all around us had the Guardians game and some others too. It was an overall good experience. Prices were about average. Our total was $32 or so. Not bad. Definite rerun if in the area.

Before we had even ordered our food, we were already talking about coming back because everything on the menu sounded so good! We sat indoors at one of the high-top tables across from the bar, and the atmosphere was very open and welcoming. They also have a really nice outdoor patio that looked like a great summer spot. We started with the pickle chips appetizer, which was a great way to kick off the meal. My husband sampled a couple of their beers, including the Sunny & 60 hazy IPA and the Blood Brothers blood orange beer, both of which he really enjoyed. For dinner, I ordered the 12-inch Italian hoagie, which was huge and came with house-made chips and a delicious French onion dip. My husband chose the Black-n-Blue Burger with truffle fries, and my older son ordered the bacon double cheeseburger with regular fries. My youngest son went with the pan-seared salmon dinner, served with green bean casserole and risotto. Our server, Anthony, asked if he'd like a Caesar salad before his meal arrived, and we're glad he did because it was outstanding! The food was excellent across the board, the portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. What really made the experience stand out, though, was our server Anthony. Since it was our first visit, he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions, offered recommendations, and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Hop Brothers Brewing Company exceeded our expectations, and it's easy to see why people keep coming back. Great food, great beer, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be returning!
