I've been a loyal customer of The Children's Place for years, but my experience at the Westfield Fox Hills store (#1237) on Saturday, January 11, 2025, was unacceptable. While shopping, I noticed a deal on the back wall showing denim pants for $16.99. Over 10 pairs of flare pants were stacked under the sign in the bootcut section, an error caused by the store's staff. Despite this, the manager, Vanessa, rudely refused to honor the price and dismissed my concerns as if it were my fault. This wasn't about the $3 difference--it was about her unprofessional attitude and lack of accountability. Poor service like this reflects badly on the brand. I wont be giving anymore money and i will definitely let other people know. read more

I received the worst customer service from The Children's Place on Saturday, January 22, 2022. I had a return that was past the 45 day return policy but it was in its original packaging and I had the receipt. I have had a very hard year. My dad has been hospitalized and almost died. I have been hospitalized. I am fighting two auto immune diseases everyday. My dad has fallen and had emergency surgery. I've lost 2 aunts to cancer in the last month. I shouldn't have to explain how difficult my life is and ask for compassion when I'm making a return. I had a receipt and the items were NEVER opened. Still in the plastic. The lead manager Angelica REFUSED to take it back. The original cashier was ringing up the return but didn't know how to process a Venmo payment and asked her team lead Angelica for help. Angelica then Refused to take the return back. Why? It's past the return date. That's it. I bought all my son's uniforms from this store all 4 years they were required at his elementary school and never returned anything. This is my first return at this store. I hope that you encourage the stores in your mall to treat customers will more compassion and understanding. I could understand if I was trying to return something that was not in its original state or I didn't have the receipt. read more

I started shopping at this location a couple of months ago since the Inglewood one closed down. I'm glad this location is still open because it comes in handy when looking for uniforms! I purchased some jeans and I had to return them but lost my receipt and the associate helped me find it through the system! I was able to exchange the jeans for my son and she even helped me place an order for some polos they didn't have in store and gave me free shipping! I love the clearance deals this store has and not to mention the t-shirts!! I'm always finding good deals when I shop here! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would! Beware of this company!! I was recently at this location to exchange some items for something else my daughter would wear.i I was gifted these items and I was told I was only able to exchange for the same item in bigger size. I had explain to Amie that my daughter doesnt like to wear tank tops or shorts. She said there is nothing I can do. Mind you I didnt want to return. I didnt care if she gave me the lowest price.I just wanted something that my daughter would wear. She said no! So I got bigger sizes and let them set in the closet I guess. After the transaction was done I asked for my receipt and she said I dont get a receipt. I never herd of a company not giving a receipt even if I didnt have a receipt. Not only did I have bad experience in store but I called customer service to have the same bad customer service. John (c19144) and Maria (c45862) said I wasnt able to return without a receipt. He also said I dont get a receipt after my exchange. After such a horrible experience that day I went to old navy and H&M had great service. I will not spend another dime at childrens place. I love the deals I get here for my kids! I always find great prices whenever I come in. I've came in here on busy days and the workers are still always so nice. They do tend to run out of the size I typically need but the ordering process is fast. My son is a size 8 and it's hard to jeans that will last him but this store comes in handy! read more

There was an emergency at the mall today which warranted for a Lockdown- I just wanted to say thank you to the staff for remaining calm and getting everyone to a safe locked location. I was in this store this past Sunday on the 31st of July. I was shopping for school uniforms for my two kids. Everyone was very helpful however there was a lockdown that happened and the manager Amie was helping everyone to get to a safer location. Now this is one area of shopping that I have no idea about.. Children's clothes. Walked in and was mainly looking for a long sleeve shirt and jeans for a 3 year old. It's the holiday season.. I commend this staff on their multi-tasking efforts. There were tons of customers in line waiting to be rung up, and every so often, one of the girls would acknowledge the customers.. thanking them for their patience and their business. The few questions that I had (as far as directing me to where the shirts and pants were.. and their respective sizes) the staff was able to help me with. The only thing that I would probably have The Childrens Store improve on in general is having size charts around. Would make it a little easier on the staff during busy times. Found the items that I was looking for. Pants and long sleeve shirt were descently priced. I commend the 3 ladies that were working the register and for the most part doing it all. Store is always a mess. Always. Then I went in yesterday with "cash" - their pre-Christmas promotion where I could get $10.00 off for every $20.00 spent. But here's the catch: HALF the store was EMPTY. It is going to be 55 degrees here in LA tomorrow, and I need to buy some warm clothes for my child. The sales girls says, "We might put more out this weekend." I said, "Oh? Is it in the back?" She replied, "No. We probably won't get any more. This store is always dirty. I know it is hard to keep a retail store clean but geez. I signed up for a credit card in the store and the girl who put in my address forgot my apartment number so I had to call customer service THE SAME DAY and tell them to add in my apartment number but somehow they still mailed my credit card with no apartment number so it has been over a month and I do not have my credit card. I am rating the worker bees that this particular store. I had an encounter here about 1 1/2 years ago that made me swear I would never return. As fate would have it I got a gift card for the store and the website was so slow I had to go in. I am glad I did. The staff had completely changed and they actually were doing their job. Asking me if I needed help I shooed them away but then became frustrated at the lack of my daughters size in everything. The woman came back, asked again and I agreed. She then helped me find clothes throughout the store. At check-out they were also very helpful as I left my coupon at home. My only complaint is the lack of sizes. The merchandiser needs to know what sells in the store and stock up on those sizes. read more
