Forget about buy buy baby - target etc etc.. this is THE spot you want to go to to have real experts advices, suggestions, experience when you want to buy a stroller, a car seat or in fact anything baby-related. Brian and Michelle are simply the best, exceptional customer service, patience and availability. It all started cause my husband and I during our vacation saw some inglesina strollers and when we came back to the States we tried to contact all the retailers in LA that were selling inglesina products to see if we could see and purchase the stroller through them. Majority simply said: "I can order it for you" and that's it, while Brian spent a good 10-15 min at the phone with my husband answering all his questions talking about all the different strollers features and differences between brands etc etc. we decided to visit the store right away even though we knew they did not have an inglesina stroller to display. Once again Michelle fist then Brian, showed us all the different options available for both strollers and car seats and they offer to contact the inglesina sales rep to see where the Aptica stroller was available, in which colors etc. we left satisfied and we got news a few days after that the strollers was not available in display anywhere in Los Angeles, but that they had 2 colors available for shipping right away if we wanted to get it. After some thinking we decided to go for it - both Brian and Michelle confirmed the brand is great and the stroller was solid. We went to pick up our Aptica Inglesina Stroller last weekend and we could not be happier. We got the indigo denim color which is super cool, it comes with car seat adapters which are compatible with Nuna Pipa (we got that too), bassinet, bassinet stand, rain cover and obviously the stroller seat. The price is great too as you get a 10% discount buying through Traveling Tikes and the combo starts at $900 something which is a super good deal for such high quality stroller. Brian helped us with so many other must have that we inserted in our baby registry and offered his availability to order anything we want and ship it to our house if we cannot pick it up. I work in hospitality as I run a high volume restaurant in LA but I must admit I'm not one to check Yelp reviews or even write one myself but after my experience today I just couldn't stay quiet! I recently moved to West LA and as most Angelenos know LA's got options. Whether it's a restaurant, coffee shop, specialty store, etc LA can be pretty overwhelming if you aren't familiar with the area. My baby girl came early and being first time parents it was crunch mode realizing we didn't have a stroller. I came across Traveling Tikes and decided to pop in. Noticed it was pretty close to closing time so didn't expect much. Brian and Michelle (owners) greeted me and I quickly realized that they frequent the restaurant I work for. I have to mention that as soon as you walk in you get a sense of family/community and I always look for that in an establishment because doing what I do there is so much of a disconnect with a lot of places where it just feels like business. Brian and Michelle are so knowledgeable about what they do but besides that they care with what you ultimately need or are looking for. You never get the sense of an upsell or pressure. I could go on and on but today was a blessing and took away a bunch of pressure from my wife and I being first time parents scrambling . Do yourself a favor and just go straight to Traveling Tikes! Today I stopped by the shop as I was looking to get a stroller that adapts to my current Nuna Car Seat. I had the great pleasure to meet Michelle. When I came in, there were two customers ahead of me so I waited for Michelle to finish helping them before she could help me. Michelle was by herself and I did not mind waiting. Once she got to me, she was amazing. All the reviews about her are accurate and correct. She has great customer service, she is very attentive, and goes up and beyond. She is very thoughtful and kind. She helped me choose the right stroller that best suited my needs. I let Michelle know that one of the reasons I came to the store was because I wanted to walk out with a stroller as I needed one ASAP. Initially, the stroller that I wanted to get was not available and she needed to order it to get to her store. She let me know it would probably be ready for pick up by next Friday. Upon further review, she realized she was able to get me the stroller that same day and made some arrangements to make it happen. She put together the stroller for me and because I had my newborn with me the whole time, she offered to help me carry some of the stroller parts to my car. She walked me out to my car and once we got to my car, she gave me some feedback on my car seat and showed me how to dismount the stroller. Thank you Michelle for everything you did for me and for all the info you gave me!! This is now my togo place for baby gear and I highly recommend this place!!
