It's my one-stop shop for clothes, baby apparel, books, toys, and more. I never hit the department stores without checking here first. If they have what I'm looking for, I'll always buy from them. The staff are another huge plus--they're super helpful and will even go the extra mile by looking up product details online if they can't answer a question on the spot. They've also been great about helping load big items into my car and even taking things apart to test them (like making sure batteries work). I always leave a happy customer! I haven't started selling yet, but I'm already looking forward to bringing in my gently used items for them to resell. My only small gripe is that they only carry sizes from newborn up to around size 14, which typically fits kids up to about 13 or 14 years old. That means I'll eventually have to head back to department stores when my grandson outgrows them--but until then, this place has me covered.

In Belle Meade, if you needed a card, cardigan or cart full of chocolates, Katy's Hallmark in Belle Meade was where you headed. Be it Mother's Day, Christmas, Easter, or some other mom/grandma-approved holiday, you would be sure to find me here picking up a Hallmark* card along with stocking stuffers, fancy card stock and pens, chocolates, truffles, confections, perfumes, scarves, and more. This was more than a card shop: it was a one-stop shop for every mom, aunt, grandma, teacher, in your life. If you couldn't find it here, you couldn't find it. And you could find it for a reasonable price. Despite the location, you wouldn't be beset by Belle Meade prices. I found the service ranged from extremely helpful to polite but never did i feel unwelcome. Most all the employees were nice.** This is the genteel legacy of what Nashville used to be. Parking was spacious and easy to come by and if you still had a shopping itch after you came here, you could walk the rest of the strip mall (or grab a bite to eat). This Goodwill is located on Gallatin Pike in Madison, and anchors one end of a large complex that features several other retail, service and food spots from local to chain. This location is quite large and organized for the most part. Sections are clearly marked, aisles are clear and it is easy to navigate from one end to the other. The store, like most Goodwill locations, has seen better days conditionally and could use some TLC. Cleanliness is hit and miss, but never awful. The donation center for this location is around back and is self-serve. There are bins left outside where you can drop your goods and go. If you want a receipt, they have a QR that gives you what you need. Simple and easy process, and my go-to for donation drop-offs. Overall, it's a Goodwill. Solid 3.5 for me.

Then I am sure this has happened to you!! Anyways, we were greeted as soon as we walked in and the women working at the store were very kind and helpful. My husband picked up the first pair of shorts he found. Rookie mistake, I know. The shorts he picked up were NOT on sale and cost $20. Not the price you look for when buying replacement shorts. I mean, we have a lot of shorts at home, so we didn't really need any anyways. The clerk was more than helpful and suggested a table of clothes that were currently on sale. This was extremely helpful! The sales clerk working the regester was new, so the transaction took a little bit longer than normal, but she was so nice and very professional, so I really didn't mind at all. This Carters has such great employees! They really made our expirience a good one! **The ONLY problem is that the store is not stroller friendly. My bracelet, which my granddaughter Khaleesi made me last Christmas, broke a few weeks ago. I was sad, made more sad because my fat fingers could not fix it. I remembered the kind manager at Michael's from previous helpful experiences so I thought she could direct me what to do. April guided me into the classroom where she worked on it for awhile - still answering other customer and colleagues needs while painstakingly stringing my beads together. Bless her. I learned how and why she genuinely loves working at Michael's, helping people with her beautiul smile. After many careful, creative minutes, April had my loving bracelet back together. What an absoutlely display of heartfelt kindness. I am going back with both grandaughters on Sunday for Make Break. And I have new friend with April.
