I stopped by The Child Place tonight while my wife was getting a service inside the mall. I came to this store because I never walked inside and wanted to see the clothing they had here for kids. When I walked inside, a worker was cleaning the floor and greeted me. She asked if I needed any help but I told her I was just browsing so she left me be. This store has some great deals for kids clothing but some are also I think high in price too. The infants or younger kids clothes are more toward the back. I like some of the tshirts they have here for kids so I might come back to get some for my niece and nephew. read more

I'm a mom on a budget, so when I walked into The Children's Place at the North Ridge Mall and saw the prices, I looked at my husband and whispered, "Nope... not happening." I was so close to turning right around and walking out. Then Frank walked up with the friendliest smile and told us all about the sales going on. If it wasn't for him, we honestly wouldn't have bought a thing. He completely changed the experience for us. And he wasn't the only one! His supervisor, Lori, was just as personable, helpful, and knowledgeable. You can tell they really care about making customers feel welcome. Highly recommend this location purely because of the amazing staff. They made a budget-conscious mom actually enjoy shopping again! read more

The older lady needs some assistance when she has lines. Anyway, normally I order online or seldomly shop inside of the store, anyway , I wanted to do a Exchange, cause me the Dad got the wrong size an the older lady was giving me a hard time even though the tags were still on the shirts etc. First , she told me she couldn't do it cause she has a line and people were waiting,smh, I was like hold up I am the Consumer also , WTH, then she said I can only do this once smh , she had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to open a credit card after the fact ,smh really, hell no , but I told her I am a Valued member I have points. This isn't about this store, but rather the policy of this company. I purchased some uniform pants on line. It took 10 days for them to arrive (who takes that long to send an order these days?), and I set them aside because my son thrashes his pants so wanted to have these new ones ready to go. There is a 45 day return policy with children's place, but when I went to this store to return these unworn pants (my son didn't like the way they fit on him) they wouldn't take them because it was outside of the 45 days. However I hadn't had them for 45 days because it took 10 days for them to arrive, so should have been within the return window. I even called Children's Place corporate and they would not help. This is bad customer service, so no wonder this company is struggling. I wonder how much longer they will be in business since they don't take care of their customers. I won't be returning to this store (although the people are always really nice here) and I certainly won't be ordering on line from them again. read more

Where to begin... I have always come to children's place they have nice outfits for a good price specially when they have sale! I have been a rewards member for as long as I can remember. What disappoints me is not the items in the store, it's customer service. Today is my daughter's bday I'm excited to get her unicorn print shirts as that is our theme. Took my a while to find her size, when I finally made it to the check out line, Nancy was dragging to help me few minutes later decided to assist me. I asked to confirm that the shirts I took are on sale, she didn't respond so I repeated my question. She wasn't pleasant to talk to so I had to change my friendly approach to a firm one. Some of these people that work in the counter think they can speak to customer the way they want. I don't know what you're going through regardless, I don't deserve your dismissive tone. You're making it worst for you because I will not be friendly to you when I leave the store. read more

Worst customer service!!! I went in to exchange a few things that my daughter received for her bday they wouldn't do it unless ur getting the same thing even though it had only been 2 days since the purchase with tags on them.. U have to have a receipt! I asked to speak with the manager it was no use she was very rude .. I told her so what am I supposed to do if I hate it & it doesn'tfit my daughter .. Her comment was "u can always give it away .. Horrible costumer service & the stupidest store policy.. WORST LOCATION EVER! BUYER BEWARE! We were charged twice for a single transaction and told not to worry that the money would be refunded. talked to the bank and both transactions were funded. Customer service on the phone and in the store are the worst and now we need to wait over 30 days so the store can do an investigation. the employees at this location are airheads and don't know how to handle anything besides taking money. read more

First time today visiting this store, since the one in Valencia closed. First of all.... when was the last time they organized and cleaned this place? Clothes everywhere. Jeans just randomly placed with out folding. They must be short staffed! And Second.... slow customer service. I waited in line 15 minutes 3 registers to use one was occupied with the overflow of put backs, the other was occupied by a young lady on her phone calling corporate and the only one open was slower then a turtle. I guess this is the reason I always do online shopping from this store since I seem to get my shipment faster then the line in store!! read more

Don't buy online. They don't ship for two weeks. They won't answer the phone, they won't reply to emails. Will never buy from they again.

I'm not surprised to read negative reviews about the children's place in Northridge. All the employees were just standing behind the register while only one was ringing up customer. The rest were just chatting away personal stuff while the line was growing. Super annoyed! Really felt like I was in the Twilight Zone. My transaction was super slow. This place sucks!!! read more

I don't like writing bad reviews but this store really needs to improve their customer service. We stood in line for half hour with just four other people in front of us. One register was helping a customer who had some issues with their credit card. The employee was on the phone for the entire time we were in line. The second register had a young Asian girl who obviously was a new employee. She was working soooo slow! From taking the clothes from the hand of the customer to ringing them up to folding and packing them, it was just frustrating to see someone work so slow! So basically we were stuck waiting for just one register and line was until the back of the store. The store aisles are also very narrow and needless to say messy. I love their clothes but sadly this store left a bad impression. Definitely not worth going during the holidays. read more

Rude! Rude! Worst customer service! I usually go to the one in Valencia and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I had to go to the Northridge one yesterday to make a payment and decided to buy more things. I was the only customer there, as I was paying for my items, I asked the salesperson Jacqueline for a price check, she directed me to the self price check scanner, I asked her if Valencia store has one because they always check for me. I then asked her how much my discount would be with my coupon and card, she flatly replied she did not know! I asked her if she was new there, she said no. So I told her I was not going to purchase anything from her and I would go to the Valencia location instead because they are helpful and professional! read more
