Been calling for two days to check on my orders. They answer and disconnect on purpose. When they Finally answered, they wouldn't help unless i had a confirmation number. I asked, I received confirmation but if they could look using my name. All she would say is that they were busy, and wait for the pick up email. Finally picked up my order after 3 days, of waiting for it to be fulfilled, and of course several things were cancelled and out of stock. I wish I got the employees names so they can get the credit they deserve but maybe my experience will help identify the workers. I went to the store on June 4th in search for two items, something that my birthday reward can be applied for and a body wash. When first arriving, I was greeted by a lovely lady that handed me a basket while I tested some of the body sprays that were on sale. Sometime later, I needed help looking for the mini body sprays because I realized I could use my birthday reward for them. I was walking around the store trying to search for them, I probably looked a little crazy (I also didn't look the best which didn't help my case). I then bumped into another employee and he kindly asked me if I needed help looking for anything. I asked for the mini sprays and he told me where they were (I still couldn't find them until I was at the checkout line but that was my fault). I also heard him talking with another customer and his personality is amazing and made me feel comfortable shopping. Anyways, when I finally found the mini sprays, I saw they had a limited selection which made me indecisive. That was when I bumped into the first employee and she asked me if I had any trouble looking for anything. The best Bath & Body Works I've gone to... honestly ever. It may look like a regular B&BW location, but once you step inside you're greeted with the nicest workers on the planet, which make this specific location wonferful. I wish I had caught the names of the lovely ladies who were assisting me, unfortunately I didn't but it's alright. Now when I stepped in I was greeted with a warm welcome from one nice woman who I think came back and asked me if I was looking for anything in particular, "anything floral, or maybe fruity" and she recommended a gingham scent that was her favorite (which was a very very nice scent). Then, she offered me a basket. Though I was only going in for one item, I'll hand it to her, that's how you get a customer to spend more money. I almost did, but luckily stayed on track. She did make me feel very comfortable though. Soon after another sweet lady came up to me and recommended her favorite summer scent which was "gingham fresh" (smelt so good, i ended up buying it). And she even told me one of her preferences about not liking fruity scents, which kind of gave her a personality and made her seem like not just a salesperson trying to get me to spend as much money as possible (which i'm fine with too, that's what their job is but she had impeccable customer service). When I checked out, the cashier had complimented the scent I picked out and was very kind, had absolutely zero problems with her. NATALIE IS A ROCK STAR !! (Northridge Location) On a whole I love BBW and the employees are very nice and helpful. That said, I have never felt the need to leave a review until now. Natalie was the first one to greet me and while I usually get a sales person who tries to help me find the scents that I describe, they don't really get it. Natalie really knew her inventory. She offered up a scent that I was sure I wouldn't like but she surprised me and was spot on! I decided to wander the store on my own to see all the new holiday stuff ( Store looked great BTW) , but I found myself seeking her out 2 more times to get her input! ( Something I don't normally do). The store was very busy and yet she was extremely attentive , polite and professional. After I had made my purchase, I realized that I didn't get my free birthday gift ( totally my fault - I forgot to present the barcode to the cashier ) and once again I sought her out and even though she was in the middle of stocking and could have easily passed me off on to another sales person, she took me straight to the register and handled the correction in record time! Smaller mall location. Somehow not as visually stylish as done of the other BBW stores. Was in the mall with Dear Hubby and Adored Grandson recently to walk off dinner. As we headed to Boarders Sports for A.G., I noticed Bath & Body Works. Popped in for their mini antibac's and to see what might be new. They definitely keep it fresh with seasonal releases of fragrances. I was helped promptly by one of the associates. He didn't have one of the items in stock that I could have used. I did end up with a few small purchases. I have a coupon to use for a future visit, which is great. Also was happy to see several scents of hand lotion available in a pump dispenser. That's really convenient to have in the vanity area. Paid for my goodies quickly, then back out to the mall for more walking. All good! read more

The customer service here is very high, but it verges on smothering and overbearing. I like to be allowed the opportunity to browse WITHOUT someone "keeping tabs" on me. Immediately was asked if I was looking for something in particular... I kept seeing the same salesperson sort of following me and monitoring my activity like I was suspicious. Let me breathe and if I have any questions, perhaps I'll inform you? The holiday music was extremely loud and deafening. I complained the the stalking salesperson, who simply defend the volume level. When I was ready to check-out, my right ear was ringing, so I asked the training salesperson at the register to lower the music. A customer behind me had the same complaint about the deafening volume. This store ought to lower the music volume, unless they want to pay for worker's comp. I'm not trying to develop hearing loss, nor should these employees be subject to deafening volumes for extended periods at a time. read more

I love the products and frankly this is the worst store location I've ever been at! The representatives were all over and wasnt even explaining their promos correctly. I was looking and initially wasnt planning to do the 'buy 3, get 2 free' but was informed by 1 of the reps about it and reconfirmed it from another rep before going to the cashier. When i finally got my items and was to pay, was informed i was misinformed and some of the items i got wasnt included in the promo????? I informed the cashier i was told the items were but to no avail, said it's wrong - no special consideration for having been misinformed or being in a long line!!! Not even a sorry!! Soo then I'm back to deciding if I should get the promo or buy individual items. Frustrated as I am as this cashier was explaining things incorrectly as well i just decided to buy items individually and not get the promo. One time she'll tell me it's 3+1 on the men's cologne then later on it was 3+2 then was regrouping our items ... just frustrating!! Even the customer next to us was speaking up of his disappointment and sadly there wasn't even a manager who was stepping in!! They were very disorganized with the lines too!!! Then before leaving We asked Wendy who was standing by the entrance who their manager was as we had some concerns and said their manager's name was Shauntell.. I asked what the last name was and she said ahe doesn't know.. seriously? You dont know your manager/supervisor's name? Did we get to talk to the manager? Came here for the first time the other day and I really enjoyed it! The sales associates were super friendly and greeted me upon entry. I asked for all of the deals going on since B&BW is known for having uhh-mazing deals, ESPECIALLY during the holiday season! I also had a 20% total purchase coupon so I ended up buying $70+ worth of stuff for only $41! #winning I docked 1 star because I wish they had a larger candle collection. There are some candles on B&BW's website that I want but they didn't have them in this store :( read more

I'm torn about my rating here. Honestly, I wouldn't shop here without something like a 3 for 1 sale or a massive coupon because their prices are so high. I will say that you experience phenomenal customer service, though. Literally every employee seemed genuinely happy to help and passionate about the products. I went to there store today and I usually never do the buy 3 get 3 free but this time I gave into it I even asked a nice lady at the store if it was for all body care she said yes so I went ahead and purchased the 3 and was hoping to get the 3 free i then asked the cashier if she gave me my 3 free and she said yes but I had seen her scan all 6 of the products, so I then go ahead and look at the receipt and I was charged $8 for the 3 free product I was curious as to why they would charge half of the product when I Being told I'm going to get 3 free i then asked a worker he let me know that it's half price if you return half the product which makes no sense at all I understand it's not the workers fault he let me know that it's the company he had no control over that but they should at least advertise that it's going to be half price not full but half they should mis lead and tell us it's free because if it's free I shouldn't be charged for it I hope the company sees this because I personally don't even wanna shop there no more and I LOVE THE FRAGRANCES ! read more

I used to love this place... this is more of a review on the products rather than this particular location... Sooooo i really love the wall flowers right... i bought like 10 double packs in December. I'm on my second one already. So my daughter needed to plug in her laptop in the kitchen. She took the wallflower out of the wall and placed it on the dining table. This morning I noticed a weird black substance all over my table. The wall flower oil leaked out and literally ate all the varnish off of my table. These things leak and apparently according to other websites this can eat through wood, linoleum, and can ruin mirrors. Be very careful I now have to replace my table, there is no fixing this :( read more

I bought about 8 candles at this location, and the rude cashier only gave us one small bag . So I went back and asked for another bag and she proceeds to tell me "no sorry I'm running out of bags" but the cashier next to her gave some lady 10 gift bags when she asked for them. This rude lady looked middle eastern and had dark hair I didn't get her name. She was acting like the bag is coming out of her pay check. She was rude And grabbed my phone out of my hand and gave me a DIRTY LOOK when I said I was unfamiliar with the app. Cause I had just downloaded it yesterday . This place always has some sort of deal going on, which is great. Located on the 2nd floor, close to the Macy*s (not the Men's Macy*s which is on the other side of the mall). Every employee greets you with a warm smile and inquires how they can help. This is nice, but it can be a bit overwhelming if you're just coming in to browse. All their products have a very sweet smell. If you're looking for something light, try the sprays versus the lotions, or perfumes. The candles are amazing. They're about the same price as Yankee Candle. What I don't like about Bath and Body Works is that they seem to rehash the same scents that were discontinued. I'd like to see newer, fresher scents. I'm personally over a lot of their current stock and look forward to when they have a new scent in stock, which isn't very often. read more

This is a review of the customer service only...let me first say, I love the candles here and I am lifelong customer. However, it's completely inexcusable as to how the three employees who worked last night failed to engage is any conversation with me at all; even at check out!! They were all so involved with their own conversation with each other that, they neglected to due their job correctly. No greet upon coming in, no acknowledgement or greeting while being run up. Terrible Customer Service, was overcharged on Candle Day they didn't accept my coupon, after waiting in line for over 2 hours.... yet they accepted my friend's coupon at the other register. When I asked why they couldn't take it they said they aren't accepting any coupons for candles yet I had purchased other items as well. I asked why they just accepted my friend's coupon and her response was "uhhh he wasn't supposed to take it..." with attitude. They should all have been on the same page. I left unsatisfied so I called the store and asked to speak to the manager after explaining to her what had happened she simply said they aren't accepting any coupons. So I told her that she should inform all her staff and she replied with "unfortunately some coupons fall in the crack..." I hung up and called customer service and they said that they should have accepted the 20% off entire purchase. Every time I come here, the ladies working at the register ALWAYS looks pissed and angry. They don't even smile at you.. I honestly feel unwanted shopping there so I always try to make it a quick transaction there.
