I don't know that the Chill Room Original location in Lake Worth is a hidden gem, because it was pretty crowded on a Sunday night. That happens to be their Poker night, so it makes complete sense. However, I think the staff, service, food, ambience, and kava are what make this place exceptional. I had been to a couple kava bars but Colton did an outstanding job of explaining the differences between the Kava and Kratom and the effects. He even did a do-over when my guest finally arrived. With such insightful guidance, I went with his recommendation of the double dragon, choosing the green tea and a shot of kava. Colton may have okay taste in English football, amazing taste in Italian football, but his choices in drinks are unparalleled. The drink was delicious, not too sweet, and perfectly balanced. If I'm being honest, this was the first time I actually felt the effects of kava. Outside, of Colton, the vibes are inviting and intimate, but not exclusive. The decor and music create a very relaxing atmosphere, which is conducive to the experience. There's a pool table and game room, a stage area, and a bar, in addition to all the couches and seats around. I didn't have any if the food this time, but they have lovely cakes and pastries, as well a pizzas and bar food. If the food is as well crafted as the rest of the place, I'll definitely be eating here next time. It's a bit of a journey for me, but the experience is well worth it. Will try to see what bands perform there and try to catch one that I like. If you're looking for a place to relax and have a great time, the Chill Room OG location is the one you want. read more

I've been coming here since 2018 and have been a loyal customer. recently i have noticed that they usually dont have anyone working in the smoke shop and you have to flag a worker down behind the bar. most of the time theres other people in line ordering kava or coffee or whatever so you have to wait 10-15 minutes to buy something. no other smoke shop is having you wait 15 minutes to buy a vape and some grabba. i jus left there after waiting 10 minutes for an employee to come help. This is my last time coming in there. You guys clearly don't care about your shop so I can no longer keep supporting it. read more

The owners of this establishment will ban you from their kava bar for absolutely no reason. Be aware if you're a paying customer or let alone a Spanish speaking customers, they will treat you differently. They will ask you to stop speaking Spanish in their kava bar. The happy hour prices are still pricey and they are still failing as a kava bar. Also, illegally recording audio of everyone at the bar, including employees. The "camera" in the parking lot of this location doesn't even work so if your car gets broken into while being parked in this lot (which does happen) , good luck. You have been warned. read more

Oh my god such fun with my girls. We initially went for hookah but then decided to get the teas and kava shots instead because the drink menu looked so good. My friends and I got kratom iced teas. This is a all natural tea extracted from a plant and they make it in different flavors. I picked blood orange in this tea. It was refreshing and gives a slight mellow vibe when you drink it. Nothing to strong but enough to feel good. After we did peanut butter kava shots. I absolutely loved the flavor of this. Shout out- Rodrigo was awesome in explaining the whole menu and making our drinks to perfection. He made sure we were happy with our order and let us pay when we were ready. Glass studio in the back where they sell some really neat things. They also have glass blowers making things in the studio. They do classes related to this as well if one is interested. I would like to check that out in the future. Kava or hookah might not be your thing but this is a fun experience and something different to try out. My friend recently showed me to this place one night to help me escape for the evening. We came on a Wednesday night during one of the performances for open mic night. Off the top the vibe is amazing, music is on point, and the lighting was perfect. We went around 12am and didn't leave till they closed at 2am. I saw a roach under the pool table, it was absolutely disgusting, when I went to the manager they didn't offer to clean it up or care.

I've been coming here since they basically opened the doors. I've watched it grow from a small kava bar into a place where I love to go. They absolutely value me as a customer and make sure I know it. Everyone on staff is fantastic and I've gotten to know them on a personal level and couldn't say 1 bad thing about them. I usually stop by after work and it's always quick and painless. I have 2 small kids and sometimes they are with me when I stop by to pick up a drink and everyone is so friendly to them and isn't weird about a kid being with me. I actually had a very good experience here. I just happened to be nosey and walked in and sat at the bar. I was immediately greeted by the bartender. He was cool. I felt somewhat out of place ( I guess that's just me lol) but the bartender made me feel at home. He took the time to educate me on what Kava and Kratom was and what they do. There's not many places for young people to hang out in and relax at in the area that's not a bar. The bartenders Jessie, Brooke, Skylar, and Colton are the most welcoming people I've ever met. My favorite thing to do is to ask them for a "surprise" drink and they always deliver. The Kava isn't chalky like most kava bar's and they have a wide variety of drinks if you're not into Kava or Kratom. They serve 3 Dragon's Kratom on tap with the flavors of peach, pomegranate, and blackberry which is a personal favorite. The Tiki Breeze Kava Shot is also a personal favorite.
