Lovely little sandwich spot in South Edmonton Common. This place is bright and looks very clean…read more Decent amount of tables for two and the larger one closest to the doors. I had ordered a wrap instead of a sandwich and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff was lovely to accommodate me by removing some items off the predesigned list for the wrap due to diet restrictions. The wrap itself was burrito sized, so be prepared for leftovers if you're only slightly hungry. The cookie I had was massive and soft! Honestly with the bubbly, cookie and wrap it was a full sized meal for supper (for me). The extra Yelp bag of goodies was definitely an added YES surprise! Thank you to Vilma & Earl of Sandwich for such a lovely summer treat.

Surprisingly they were quite delightful and aren't too expensive. I went around 12:30pm on a Wednesday and it was quite busy. The line went by quick. I tried the Holiday Turkey and my partner tried their Original 1762. The Holiday Turkey literally tasted like a holiday turkey in stuffing within cranberry sauce. I was pretty satisfied with how spot on the taste was and it made me feel like I was eating a Christmas meal. My partner enjoyed his Original 1762 roast beef sandwich. Both sandwiches were flavourful and warm. They give you an option to choose between whole wheat and white bread. We got the combo so it came with soup and a soft drink as well. They gave us an empty cup for the soft drinks and it was self serve at the counter. The chicken noodle soup was well made also. Overall I definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't. The sandwiches were filling and worth the value.

Wow! I knew that this place must be great because there's 141 reviews already and the place hasn't…read morebeen open for a whole year yet. There's lots of seating. More than most places. There's also an upstairs so I assume that more tables are up there. To start you queue up at the counter and pick your meat and put it bun. Ask the guy to recommend the rest because he's got lots of sauces. Then choose veggies and you're nearly there. We also added a coffee which was way too good for a deli. The sandwiches were delicious. The amount was just right. The bun is not huge so you won't be stuffed with bread. It can get messy because there's more fillings than bun but don't worry because there are three washrooms to wash your sticky fingers. Seriously I haven't enjoyed a new place in Edmonton this much in a long time. As for the location... Well eventually it might be okay. It's fine during the day. I highly recommend Patricia Street.

Staff were friendly and service was good. ~$14 for a sandwich. A little smaller than expected but the options for what you want were amazing. ~$6 for a bowl of soup, which was delicious! I would definitely recommend, it's a cozy space to bring some friends.

Oh. Em. Gee…read more Driving by in Fort Sask for work I did a quick U-Turn and decided to grab a quick bite. The outside of the building is unique and attractive - bright white and red. Upon walking up inlaa was bred they were take out only or patio due to the current pandemic. I hopped on Facebook and Yelp to take a peek at recommendations and reviews. I was pleasantly surprised snd excited to give them a try from the mouthwatering pictures and descriptions. Upon entering I knew immediately this place was going to rock. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and happy to give recommendations. Turns out they moved here just under 2 years ago. It's a lunch only gig and currently closed on Mondays. The decor inside is fun and filled with history paying homage to the fact it's an old union hall. Now let's get down to the food! Water and coffee is complimentary :-) Meals here are a sandwich, grinder, or wrap and come with housemade salad or soups. They also have daily pie! Prices are roughly $15-$18 and the portions are good. I opted for the Philly Grinder and Potato bacon chowder (staff recommendation). Both were EPIC! I literally got two meals out of this one lunch. The Grinders are heavenly sourdough loaves stuffed and melted in the oven. They are also excellent dipped in the soup! I would seriously order the exact same thing again and again. I cannot wait to go again. This will be my new Fort Sask stop when I'm the area for work. Two thumbs WAY up!

Nothing that makes me want to rush back and try again. Ordering is a little confusing. The menu is posted on a standard piece of paper up at the counter. So if there are people ahead of you in line, you can't see it until you get up there. Once you get there, you can see the sandwiches and melts on the paper, then the wraps are on a separate white board, then the soups and salads are on another white board up at the till. Look... I know it's not the end of the world, but it's annoying. They have a cooler with various pops as well. I also noticed a coffee station set up with some different syrups and stuff. But I didn't see a menu for that, so I don't know what they offer or what the prices were like. All the sandwiches/wraps/melts are between $14 & $16 which includes a soup or salad. I did a buffalo chicken wrap with french onion soup. I love spicy wraps, but this was just drenched in frank's red hot. It's all I could taste and it really wasn't enjoyable :( The french onion soup was good though! There was nothing necessarily wrong with anything... but there was nothing that made me want to go back.
