Mint lemonade
Valery C.

The wrap man is the name of the restaurant I got skewers and fries and homemade mint lemonade Its was really good season well the mint lemonade was definitely refreshing and the service attendant at the cash register was patient in walking my friend and I through the menu. The space is nice but as a mom it can feel a bit tight during busy hours but it's great place to get some fresh made lunch with friends

The Citadel is a great little food hall located in the Little River neighborhood of Miami, north of Little Haiti. This is an ideal spot to meet up with people for food and drinks. There's plenty of space and they have a rooftop bar. We had a good time here. My wife and I had dinner from Manjay, the Caribbean/Haitian counter, on the first floor. We also had drinks at Bar Kaiju on the second floor (mezzanine level) and on the rooftop bar. You can take food from the first floor to the rooftop if you want. I recommend Manjay, Bar Kaiju, and the rooftop bar (called The Key). I liked the casual, laid-back vibe of the Citadel. Bar Kaiju has its own unique atmosphere. In 2025, it was ranked #77 on the "North America's 50 Best Bars" extended list. Free parking is located on-site in a large dedicated lot.

Citadel is a spacious and beautiful Food Hall, Cocktail Bar and Marketplace in one, with lots of restaurants and stalls with food, drinks, and dessert options from local chefs and vendors, and a Rooftop Bar with extensive views of the city. The Marketplace have small shops and boutiques. It also has live entertainment, and DJ's to entertain the guests. Service was good, lively and welcoming atmosphere, and a great place to unwind and relax whatever time of the day you visit this lovely place. Check it out!

Wow a food hall that actually has great food, drinks and impeccable service with a rooftop to boot. This is a hidden gem in Little River. You can choose from sushi to oysters, and even grab gelato for dessert at The Citadel. Eat downstairs and enjoy the bustle of the food hall or pop upstairs to the rooftop and enjoy the views. You can order anything from Downstairs food court to be delivered upstairs. No scrambling between vendors they will do it for you while you sip a cocktail, relax and enjoy the vibe. Don't forget to check the thrift shop on your way out which is full Of nostalgic treasures from 80s action figures to vintage playboy mags. Definitely coming back to try the raw bar and maybe pick up a new plant!

Maki-San in Citadel

I love this place! There are so many options of food to choose from and they are all so different and delicious. We ordered from Maki-San & Pho Sho and the food at both places were made quickly and they were fresh. At Maki-San for the hand rolls and crispy rice the total was $35.96 after a $5.99 tip. At Pho Sho the total was $21.87 after a $3 tip. Pho Sho has a happy hour special until 7pm where you can purchase 1 crispy chicken Bao for $5. Coming on a Friday night is great, but you will have to pay for street parking or park in the lot directly behind the building. I recommend the street parking because it is cheaper, although the parking in the lot is secured by a gate. The music is also very loud so if you are looking for a more quiet atmosphere, I recommend coming during day time because they start playing music louder in the evening.

We came to visit phosho and it's always delish!!! Service great and fast m! We tried Doña Posad for the 1st time for deserts and we are very glad we did!!! We took home a 4 leches dessert, a brownie and a guava cookie ....don't miss out on this delicious place!!!

I just love the ambiance here. It's great open space, community dinning and food selection. There is quite a variety of food options I go for the Pho, it's warm, great flavor and nice chucks of beef. It has all the necessary toppings and fixing love the Pho. Order, pay, enter your phone number, get a text when your food is ready. Friendly staff even the chef was nice and friendly.

We decided to get together for happy hour for my gym. This food court is super close. So many options to choose from. We went to the rooftop bar where they have plenty of seating. It is shaded which is great! You can order from downstairs and they will bring it to you. I got the lychee martini. So good and refreshing. They added a 20% tip because of our table size. They didn't mention it when I was paying (grrr). Other than that, I'd def go back!

Honey Jerk Bites

The Citadel is now one of my favorite food halls. The ambiance is exactly what you want in a spot like this. Low lighting, spacious seating, a giant screen playing sports, and great vibes all around. The first floor is full of different restaurants, and they have a rooftop bar for when you want to switch up the scenery. I even noticed they host activities like bingo on certain nights. Service was good at each place I tried and the food came out fast. The areas are kept clean which is crucial for a food hall. What I tried: Mini chimichanga from Gueritos Tex Mex was more of a cheesy eggroll. I wish it came with some sauce to dip in or a little extra something but it was pretty decent. Stuffed onigiri from Maki-San Sushi was good. Nothing out of the ordinary, but good taste. I'll probably branch out to a different item next time just to explore. !Honey jerk chicken bites from Manjay. This is a must try! If you like food with a nice kick and a whole lot of flavor, this is it. Plantain fries were unique and the chicken was just... wow! There are so many vendors I didn't get to try (yet), but I'll absolutely be back. The Citadel is a foodie's playground with good vibes. Cons: - It's Miami, of course you'll have to pay for parking but there are plenty of spaces. - Prices for the food is as expected, a bit on the pricey side for what you get but nothing too crazy. They do have happy hour and some places have deals of the day so that's a plus.

I went with friends for happy hour Saturday. The ambiance and music were good. We sat at the roof top, ordered drinks an appetizers, the food was ok, I didn't lime the crispy spicy tuna rice. The server was on point, our waitress was polite, respectful and helpful. I liked the DJ.

Once I found the elevator, Kaiju was clearly labeled there tho. The entire bar is dark and has cool red lights all around. We went to the bar to get seated and were led to an open table for our group. Our waiter immediately filled our water glasses and brought the menu. The menu is super cool because each drink is presented as a Pokémon card. There's a lot of info especially on how they compare to classic cocktails. Everything on the menu looked good so my friends and I got a bunch of different drinks. Some of my favorites were the Rodan, Guije, and the pandan drink (I forgot the name). The Michelangelo was also good but a little spirit forward for my taste. I'm excited to come back and try some more of the menu.

This is a fun, trendy bar with delicious drinks and solid service. It's totally worth checking out. First, I love the theming. Kaiju is Japanese for "movie monster." Ever seen Pacific Rim (2013)? The logo looks like a rough outline of Godzilla. The menu is designed to look like Japanese monster (e.g., Pokemon) trading card books. Each cocktail has its own card art, stats, and tasting notes. Neat. And the vibe of the place is like - I don't know - Japanese neon Blade Runner. It's cool. The four of us got a variety of drinks and were welcomed to our table with complimentary shots. I had the Guije cocktail which cost $24 after tax and tip. Yes, that's the one thing about this place - the drinks aren't cheap. Tasting notes: "Guije is a savory, tropical, and funky cocktail featuring Chairman's Reserve Rum spiced with Mojo Criollo, offering hints of bay leaf, pepper and garlic. Along with fresh mango, lime, Maduro, to round out the robust yet tropical flavors." It was strong, refreshing, and fantastic. All of our drinks were presented beautifully too. My wife thought she left her wallet here. The next day, I DMed @bar_kaiju on Instagram and they got back to me in less than a couple hours. Whoever got back to me was responsive and kind. (Luckily, the wallet turned up elsewhere, but their help was appreciated.) Bar Kaiju is located on the 2nd floor (mezzanine level) of the Citadel food hall. It opened in December 2022. I found out after the fact that they were ranked #77 on the "North America's 50 Best Bars" extended list in 2025.

The day of…read morea few super early and late spots opened up but we decided to try to come back a different time. So if you want to dine here, make sure to book a few weeks in advance on Resy. We booked a 6:30 PM reservation so we could grab a happy hour drink before hand. I think the cocktails at the happy hour bar are different from the regular menu. I had an apricot gin cocktail that I didn't love, but was decent and a slow slipper and my husband had a campari cocktail that is great if you like campari. The bartender was accommodating and overheard me asking my husband if he knew how to spritz the lemon peel like she did but he hadn't been paying attention so she did it again. For dinner, I spotted the table next to us dining on the rolls and Caesar salad and decided I wanted both. The server mentioned that salad is one of their most popular. The rolls were light and fluffy, and very large with sweet and savory honey butter. The Caesar salad was good. It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.

The restaurant is conveniently located right on the downtown strip with free street parking nearby, which is always a plus. The atmosphere was inviting from the moment we walked in. The host welcomed us and told us we could sit anywhere we liked, so we chose a quieter table away from the bar area. There is also a stage section that looked perfect for live music nights, although there was no entertainment during our visit. Overall, the ambiance was trendy, relaxed, and had a great neighborhood feel. They also appeared to have some very good happy hour specials for those who drink. Our server was very sweet and offered several recommendations. We decided to share the burrata appetizer and the skirt steak dinner. The steak arrived first and looked absolutely beautiful. The quality of the meat itself was outstanding and cooked very well. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable charred flavor from what seemed like a dirty grill, which took away from an otherwise excellent steak. It was disappointing because the quality of the meat was truly superb. The fries were also surprisingly good and almost tasted closer to sweet potato fries. At that point, we realized our burrata appetizer had been forgotten. Once we flagged down our server, she immediately corrected the mistake and brought it out quickly. Thankfully, it was absolutely delicious and ended up being one of the highlights of the meal. The fresh burrata paired perfectly with the heirloom tomatoes and tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. Toward the end of dinner, service became difficult again. We were ready for more water, a box, and the check, but our server was nowhere to be found despite the restaurant not being particularly busy since it was still early in the evening. I eventually had to get up and ask the bartender for assistance. Overall, I really enjoyed the ambiance and appreciated the quality of the food. There were definitely some service inconsistencies, but the restaurant has a lot of potential and several dishes that stood out.
