Cerveceria La Tropical is the best brewery in Wynwood. Excellent place to watch the 2026 World Cup matches. All 48 Flags hanging with pride. Incredible selection of beers. They have a delicious Honey Wine for the Mead enthusiasts. Food selection was great. Really cool outside area

    23% automatic gratuity

Very disappointing experience. The biggest issue is the lack of pricing transparency. The bar does not provide an itemized receipt unless you specifically ask for one, making it very easy to miss that a 23% gratuity has already been added. Only after insisting on an itemized receipt did I discover the automatic charge. Even worse, the bartender asked for my credit card and processed the payment without clearly telling me the final total. Customers should always know exactly what they are being charged before their card is run. The prices themselves are also difficult to justify: $18 for a house rum and $20 for a whiskey, before tax and the automatic 23% gratuity. A simple two-drink order came to over $50. I'm happy to tip for good service, but mandatory gratuities and hidden pricing should be communicated clearly and upfront. Transparency builds trust; these practices do the opposite. I hope management reconsiders how receipts and automatic gratuities are presented, because customers deserve to know exactly what they are paying before authorizing a charge.

This brewery is really off the beaten path, but it has some solid features. Came on a Sunday afternoon. The place was a little busy. There is an outside courtyard which has its own bar area. There is a really big inside area including a long bar. This place would be great for a group function. I liked the beer. Only really had one beer here because from the descriptions, the was really nothing that was calling me. I could have gotten a flight, but both bartenders seemed preoccupied so I didn't want the extra wait. It did take them a while to get to me and really the place was not that busy. Once I got their attention and my beer, the service got remarkably better. Like many of the breweries which are left in Miami, this one is more like a club. Still a good place to visit.

La Tropical Cerveceria is such a staple. I seriously love it here. They have an extensive beer menu with so many options to choose from, and I love that they even have margaritas mixed with beer. It's such a fun twist. They also have a full bar, so whether you're a beer person or not, there's something for everyone. The seating situation is amazing. Tons of space inside and outside, which makes it perfect for big groups. It's also great to work from during the day because there's plenty of room and the vibe is relaxed before it turns into more of a lively scene at night. The ambiance is one of my favorite parts. Lots of greenery outside, open air vibes, and they often have live music which makes it even better. They're always hosting different events too, so there's usually something going on. Service is good and friendly, and the curry jerk wings are my absolute favorite. So flavorful and always a must order for me. Overall, this place is awesome for everything. Working, hanging with friends, big groups, live music nights. I'll always keep coming back.

The taproom was lively and outside seating was as comfortable as inside. The chicharon was my absolute favorite. Great pairing with their signature pale ale. Yuca fries too! Service was personable and knowledgeable.

Wish it was raining when we went but the temperature was so nice it didn't cause to much of an issue. We really enjoyed the food. The vibe there was exciting and they had a private event but we were still invited inside. They played Geek Who Drink if your interested if theme nights, you'll love this. The ambiance inside was so fun and there was so much to keep your eyes busy. The beer was delicious and we got ourselves the 22oz. You'll love the food, it's delectable and the waitress was on point with everything. Super nice and made our visit that more special.

This used to be one of my favorite breweries to visit because of the wide selection of beers, wine, and cocktails, and the diverse food menu. I visited recently and while the menu was the same, I feel the quality of the food has gone downhill. For example, we ordered yucca fries which were my favorite thing to get, and they were definitely frozen, small, and super fried with barely any yucca inside. This is compared to in the past they were large wedges and tasted fresh. Our server was very nice but service a bit slow. Beers tasty as always and a fun atmosphere. Still one of my favorite places, especially to sit outside in the courtyard.

Food/Drinks (5/5): I had a beer flight, a michelada, and tried the chicharron as a snack during my visit. El Suave and El Grande were definitely my favorites from the flight. The michelada here was the best one from my stay here in Miami. I tried a few others from different spots and nothing compared to this one. It wasn't on the menu but the bartender Daniel was able to make us one. The chicharron was on point and the hot sauce we had with it kicked it up a notch. Service (5/5): Service we had here was great. We sat at the bar since it was a tuesday afternoon and not much was going on. Our bartender Daniel was great with giving recommendations, checking on us regularly, and making a solid michelada. Location (5/5): The location itself was awesome and definitely fit the tropical Miami vibe. Plenty of space/seating, very clean, and a solid place to go for a beer or meet up with friends. Would I go back?: Definitely would go back when visiting the Miami area again.

Love the outdoor space and interior vibes at this brewery. Lots of assorted seating. Came here to watch college football on a Saturday. The manager was very accommodating and had all TVs on the relevant games for us Ordered the Yucca fries to snack on and then split the avocado salad with a side of corvina fish grilled, extra crispy. It's was delicious and the crisp was crissspppping! Will be back!

In sort of a weird and hard to find location on a dead end street. Not much parking available. Large seating areas both inside and out and they do have free wifi. We hit their happy hour when most beers were 5 or 6 bucks a pint. We tried 2 different ipas which were completely forgettable in every way. The beers I've tried in Miami just don't hold water against those in other parts of the US I've visited. We sat at the bar and were eventually served though they weren't busy...what was unforgettable was how stoned to the bejeesus the beertender was. He filled our pint glasses quick like, but he was so stoned I had to ask him three different times to get just one glass of ice water. Cool venue, but service needs work. Wifi was strong and free just like 'merica!

Where can I park safely, so my car won't b towed?

There is plenty of pay by phone spots in the restaurant's street. Just make sure to pay and you won't be towed!

Strange question, but is there wifi at the brewery?

Not strange at all. Many people are co-working.

    Other alcohol drinks beside beer?

Yes, they have A couple of other drinks but as far as I know. It's not a full bar (I could be wrong though)

After an entire Saturday of dense course material, I didn't have it in me to explore the night life Miami has to offer. I found this place & it was the perfect vibe - super laid back. Music selection was decent when it was on a playlist (I think). There was a guy intermittently playing live music - he wasn't great & was way too loud, but I just put on my airpods and turned on the noise cancellation feature, which toned it down enough for me to enjoy the rest of the environment. Alex was the one who took care of me & picked out a flight of sours, that were all delicious. The dole pineapple one was probably my favorite in the flight; strawberry smoothie tasted great but the texture kinda threw me off (it was thick... like a smoothie lol). She recommended the chorizo and hot honey pizza - also great, especially when it was hot out of the oven. I probably shouldn't have tried to eat the entire thing on my own, but I did anyway. We sat at the bar and he immediately asked if it was our first visit. When we said yes, he gave us an extra warm welcome and thoroughly explained all the options available. We were pleasantly surprised to find out they had Happy Hour until 10pm on a Sunday! James offered us several beers to try. Once we decided, he asked for a card to open a tab. When he saw my card, he pronounced my name correctly and introduced himself. We now know him as James the "Master Jedi" behind the bar. His knowledge, personality, and people skills are off the charts. We ordered the Padron Premium Lager, which was excellent. As an appetizer we had the fully loaded Nachos, which were very good. We also got the wings, which were delicious and came with three excellent dipping sauces: buffalo, Parmesan garlic, and sweet peppers. The place has a great vibe: 5 TVs, 2 pool tables, a basketball hoop, and plenty of board games under the register (Jenga, Buzzed, Forbidden Words, etc.). The bar also has electrical outlets and purse hooks. The restroom was quite clean, although the main hand dryer wasn't working. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager Stephanie, who was very friendly. Daniela, a waitress, was fantastic too she helped efficiently behind the bar even though she wasn't the bartender. James mentioned that they clean the draft beer lines weekly, which keeps the beers tasting fresh and clean. We had a blast and didn't even plan it. No doubt about it we will definitely be back!

Not just because it makes great beer, though it does, but because it sells something harder to can: camaraderie. It gives people a place to become better friends, tighter families, and, occasionally, obnoxious but well-meaning uncles. This was the first place I visited after my COVID-era house arrest ended. That day it became a space that I, like many others, claimed as my own. Innovation has always driven Tripping Animals, and the brains behind the brand have never sat still. Plenty of breweries typecast themselves with one style and spend years chasing beer nerds, their friends, and whatever relatives they can drag along. Tripping Animals takes the better route. It welcomes everybody from kids to casual drinkers, and people from every political corner who can agree, at least briefly, that a cold beer beats trolling on Truth Social. The food program has taken a few laps around the culinary racetrack. Over the years, the brewery has hosted a mishmash of pop-ups, including Tex-Mex tacos, Texas BBQ, ramen, and raw bar concepts. These days, Trippy Kitchen leans closer to home with dishes like a Latinized Charc Board and a Parrilla Platter loaded with two cuts of steak, sausages, chicharrones, salad, and arepitas. The kitchen runs tight, so vegetarians can still navigate the menu without calling it early, while vegans are safe with a Pittsburgh Salad of veggies and fries. Trippie events push past the tired brewery playbook of long bottle-release lines and overworked food trucks sweating it out in a parking lot. Skip the Line turns hard-to-reach, viral restaurants into one-stop shops for unlimited bites. Irie Jungle does what many beer festivals only pretend to do: build communities by bringing home-brewers, collaborators ,and competitors together over their shared love of beer. Beyond that, Tripping Animals keeps stacking the calendar with art shows, comedy nights, maker's markets, run clubs, wrestling events, and more live music. Starbucks lost its soul when it stopped feeling like a third place between work and home. Tripping Animals never made that mistake. It remains a clubhouse, a melting pot, and the rare kind of institution where the pours matter, but people matter more.

After ordering just the sandwich at the bar she attempts to ring me up, I say can I finish ordering? I ask for a soda, she tries ringing me up again. At that point I just give up. I was about to order an appetizer and a dessert for the table. Turns the screen and suggests a 22+% tip when it's fast food style order and grab at the counter. I thought the contents of the churrasco sandwich were delicious, but too bad it was in between 2 of the hardest pieces of bread I've ever had. You could chip a tooth on that sandwich. If you're in the area it's not bad at all for a little hang out spot, but I'd just not go out of my way to eat here or expect great service.
