Waitress/bartender was very pleasant and quite attractive. Always a nice surprise!! Unfortunately the pizza is horrible. Doughy crust processed sausage and generally undercooked. I ordered the large pizza as soon as it came out I noticed how it had a 2-1/2-3 inch radius of crust with no toppings so basically a 12 inch pizza just more expensive. I didn't enjoy it I didn't like the taste and I don't think I'd go back at least not for a pizza. Processed pre cooked sausage is always an indication of poor quality, and the pizza at Clamdiggers is definitely low quality pizza. read more

This is my go-to for mashed potato pizza! I get it well done for an added crunch, but it is perfect every time. I also get the dipster, which is a calzone cut into garlic bread pieces. Try it with the home made ranch and the marinara. It's amazing!! It's a hidden little gem sitting on the River Raisin in Monroe. It's perfect location to sit outside and enjoy the warm weather while sipping on a Clamdigger- a Bloody Mary made with Clamato vs Tomato juice. Order it spicy! Easy four or something more, Cloe's Awesome!! Home of the potato pizza, this bar/fish camp marina dive's a whole lot of fun. Good cheap eats. Looks like they're off the hook when they're busy; lucky me was in when they weren't for an early Friday lunch. So, the legendary potato pizza is a thing and it's wonderfully delicious in a comfort foodie food sort of way. Creamy mashed potatoes smothered in cheddar cheese with bacon bits and a few little add-ons kissed with sour cream. Was sooo good. Clamdigger bloody Mary was woo hoo sporting olives, pepperonchini, and pickled brussel sprout! Woot!! Delicious. Happy happy happy. Doesn't look like much when you pass it by; off the road some and maybe some updating on signage and exterior, but definitely a hidden gem! I say that but the locals all know how great it is because it gets busy. Great outdoor space on the water so perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The food and service was great as well. We went with the favorites posted on here like the dippers (cheesy bread) and potato pizza, but others in our group got the Rueben, Ham and cheese, and kids chicken tenders. All the food was so Delicious and flavorful!! The drinks paired well and made for a fun Sunday lunch... get the spicy clamdigger: what a great take on a bloody. But better get there early because it fills up fast. Especially as our server told us they get live music around 4pm. Definitely would recommend!! read more

A nice dive bar in monroe. The prices were great. I ordered a Tito's and soda and chips and salsa. My sister and her friend split the mashed potato pizza which looked and smelled amazing. They also ordered the Bloody Mary which gave it a 8/10. read more

I wood like to plan a night there with friends. BUT, it looks like they have problems with timely food delivery, unless you are a know patrine. Oh my! We finally found a place in Michigan that can make some awesome Italian food! It was so good I wish I could take this place home with me. The Pizza was super good! But that "Oinkster" was unbelievable! We almost ordered 2 of those things! The cheese with a shot of bacon wrapped in dough and baked in the oven and served with some very delicious marinara sauce that was way off the chain! I couldn't believe how good it was! We wanted to see Lake Erie and this place was near by, so I read some reviews and decided to give it a shot, I was glad we did! Looking out the windows you could see the water. It was so relaxing. The service was good as well. Everything was great! The pizza was outstanding! The pizza was super crispy! I loved the crust! Had some huge flavor! We had enough to bring back home in Kentucky! Warmed it up the next day and it was just as good! Next time we go back to Monroe, this is my only go to for Italian! We would recommend anyone that is staying near by to visit this place an order an "Oinkster" and a pizza! You wont be disappointed! read more

I remember Clamdiggers from back when it was the Riverfront. It was kind of a dump back then. It's better now but definitely not fine dining. If you don't go in with high expectations you'll be fine. It's bar food. The pizza is supposed to be good so that's what we got. But. My friend heard of the mashed potato pizza and we decided we would try it. We got some breadsticks too and they were good. There's a reason not everyone does mashed potato pizza. I ate some but wouldn't get it again. The waitress was great. Friendly and quick. Probably won't be on our regular rotation but I'm still glad we went. I'll bet in the summer the place would be busy with its boat access. read more

Just average. Atmosphere on the outdoor deck is great because you're on the water. But everything else is average. Food - very average. Just nothing that wows you. Including ours, there were 3 dogs there -even though, when we got there they told us dogs aren't allowed. We sat down and weren't bothered about it. Kristi, our server, was very good- friendly and attentive. She was the only above average part of the experience. I think this place could be really - but it needs a makeover inside and out. Had to check out this place when the locals told us about their potatoe pizza! First impressions, it is located right off the highway and has great outdoor seating with tables, swings, sand and everything in between. It is right along the water and super nice on a hot summer day! Been here twice and the first time was for drinks after work and it was pretty busy. Despite that the service was super quick and everyone was super accommodating with dietary restrictions. I had to get their potato pizza which was absolutely delicious. What's better than mashed potatoes covered in gooey cheese (had to forgo the bacon since I'm vegetarian). I got a small which was more then enough for me (had leftovers). I had it with their homemade ranch which was delicious! The second time I came for lunch and ended up ordering the nachos which were also really good! They were able to substitute beans for my nachos. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Was a bit late when we made our way to Clamdiggers but the staff was welcoming and the food very good. Mashed potato pizza was a first and was pretty good for something different. Me and my boyfriend took a journey out here to watch the eclipse and ended up at this bar. It seems like a really fun joint, especially in the summer and their pizza was pretty good. My friend has been here before while on a work trip and wanted to bring me. I was iffy at first because by the name I was thinking seafood and the menu was mostly pizza. But their pizza did not disappoint. They were a little slow but this place was hopping!!! So obviously it was be great. Access for many boats to stop in and grab pizza. Wheelchair accessible seating outside. Great view of the water while you eat and a great atmosphere. We did encounter a very rude waitress yelling at the lady helping us being she was trying to help.
