We pulled in, unsure of what to expect. Enter Chris--a true professional and an even better human being. Within minutes, he diagnosed the issue, but unfortunately, the parts wouldn't arrive before closing time. That's when Chris went above and beyond. Seeing we were stranded in an unfamiliar town with three kids in tow, he personally drove us to a nearby Super 8. No hesitation, no fuss--just genuine kindness. He even recommended a few local spots to grab dinner, which turned out to be great. The next morning, right on cue at 9:30, Chris called to say our car was ready. Not only was the service fast and flawless, but the price was also incredibly fair--he could've charged more, but he didn't. Chris didn't just fix our car--he restored our faith in good people. I broke down In the morning hours of Sunday in Childress. I made my way 8 miles from the town…read morecenter to this auto shop. Everyone In Town has great things to say about the owner and his crew. The shop isn't open on Sunday but I was able to drop my vehicle off since I am passing through town . I got the only taxi service available In town to go to Amarillo for rental car. The owner met me on the day shop is closed so I could tell him car history and problem. Owner took a look at issue and was able to give me a synopsis ASAP on Sunday. The work hasn't been completed yet, but so far I am very impressed and appreciative of the kindness on an off day . So far the repair shop has gone above and beyond to aid me when distressed in the middle of no where.

We didn't even know how we were going to get it somewhere to get it fixed. We found Jim's Auto Repair and thought, Jim sounds like a nice guy who can probably fix anything. Fortunately we had a reprieve in brake locking and made it to his shop. He dropped all he was doing to take a look at it, and ended up spending 30 minutes with my husband, and some of his guys, just trying to figure out how to get us home. After some collaboration and scoping out the system, he found a way and off we went! He was a life saver! He spared us so much time getting home, much grief in having to leave it in Quanah to get it fixed and then returning to pick it up weeks later, and made our day, and the end of the trip, memorable because of his kindness. He was all about helping a person, and not all about the money. Thank you Jim! You really did so much for us, and saved us days of worry, money and frustation!
