I used the clean team for the first time this weekend. I had 5 areas cleaned. It took the guy 35 minutes ! When i looked at the rugs they were wet but not cleaned. Simple stains didn't come out. I had the man look at the rugs and showed him some of the stains and really didn't get any where with it . I got on my hands and knees and took a cloth and was able to get the stains out. Very disappointed and will never use this company again or recommend them to any one . read more

A nice man from The Clean Team arrived on schedule on February 28, 2011. I paid 180.95 for the service. I know the carpet got wet that day, but not cleaned. The next time I vacuumed was on March 15. I could not believe my eyes. It was as if the carpet was never cleaned, no improvement at all. I filled and emptied the vacuum canister and cleaned the filter 5 times that day. It took me another 2 weeks (March 28) to bring the bag of dirt I saved for them to the office to prove that the carpet was indeed still terribly dirty. The manager came outside and saw the dirt and agreed that this was not the expected result and he said he would talk to the owner. I didn't hear back. I called one week later "...hey this is the lady with the bag of dirt", he had forgotten to speak to the boss. I got a call from him today, April 7. He said that if I had called sooner, they might come back and redo the work but all he could offer me was 10% off my next cleaning. I am disappointed that no one got back to me after I went over to the office and proved my case; my carpet was not steam-cleaned as claimed with my show-and-tell bag of dirt, and further disappointed that the Manager at The Clean Team in Peabody, will not make it right. If you are reading this, STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLEANING SERVICE! The service was generally bad. They left the carpet with large black stains and my wife paid them anyways! Although they guarantee that they will come and clean the carpets if the customer is not satisfied, this is not the truth. After asking The Clean Team to come back and clean the large stains that they left, I got a rude e-mail from the owner, Mick. Mick let me know that they are not going to come back and clean the carpet and did not believe my story. He also did not even have the common courtesy to call. I lost my money and had to get another cleaning company to go fix the mistake of this so called "Clean Team". They should be called the dirt team. If you want to leave your carpet dirtier then before their visit, this is a good place to call. If not, AVOID at all costs. Your Welcome:) read more

The first time I used the Clean Team, I was very disappointed. I bought a very dirty rug at an antique shop. It came back from cleaning looking just as old and dirty as it went in. I figured it was the rug. I recently sent two 9 X 12 Karastan rugs to them and they also came back looking as thought they had not been cleaned. When I called to ask what their process was, I was told that they vac the rugs, then spray them. No comment when I asked if they use brushes. They did not seem to care that my rugs looked no better upon their return from the cleaner. The 4X5 I bought at an antique shop looked terrible when I bought it, just as terrible when I picked it up from The Clean Team. I wrapped it up and put it in the attic until I could figure out whether to throw it out or try something else. As a last ditch effort, I put the 4X5 into the bathtub with laundry detergent and non-chlorine bleach. Scrubbed as I rotated the rug. It had not been used since the cleaning. I had to wash it twice it was so dirty then did my best to rinse it in the tub. Then took this heavy rug outside and rinsed with the hose. It looks like new! Drip dried outside and then took it inside to dry the rest of the way. What a difference. I called the folks at the Clean Team and they could have cared less that their job was not up to snuff. This rug looks like new. I will save some money to have the 2 big rugs cleaned again after searching for a good cleaner that will use soap and brushes to clean and to raise the nap on these rugs. This palce is a rip-off. I scheduled a deep cleaning and left for an hour while they cleaned my carpets. When i returned home my carpets were dry! Ive never heard of carpets drying in an hour after a deap cleaning so i checked all over my apartment. One wet spot in the farthest corner of my apartment. They never even turned the water onjust sprayed my carpet with freshner and vaccummed! I called them 3x an they said they would call me back. I will be calling again tomorrow to get the to come back and clean it properly while I AM HOME! Dont be fooled, they are horrible! Ive talked to other people that know of this company having a history of doing this so beware and dont go through them! read more
