Great new renovation, love seeing the live shows in there now! The food, drinks, and atmosphere are really top-notch now - also a hidden gem for breakfast!

Fantastic service and delicious food! It was a great find on our vacay! Our server took the time to visit and give us tips on the area.

The staff at this place was rude and inattentive. The food was mostly frozen refried crap. I am sorry but people need to know

This is a neat place for well made food at a reasonable cost. Bonus, if you are a person that…read moreenjoys looking at boats & being along the water's edge, this is a lovely place in Cowichan Bay to enjoy a meal with a view. Truthfully, I go for their crepes, but my friends are always bey happy with their other menu choices too. The staff is friendly and we never feel rush to eat & leave. This isn't a place you need to really dress up to feel you fit in. However, you also could if the mood suits you & still not feel out of place. Truly, I am happy that they even have tables on the main level that accommodate those with mobility aids. However, that being said, I am struggling to recall if there would be a easy enough way for a wheelchair or even a walker to make it to the main door. I'll have to remember to focus on that long enough before my next crepe eating bliss hits. As Cowichan Bay is a popular area to stop for meals, do plan to go in advance for parking. As even if there are a few spots for the restaurant, there isn't enough space to accommodate the full restaurant. If you are able to find a spot at the restaurant or are double parking at the restaurant (which is apparently allowed), it is good to let the server know what vehicle is yours. Beyond more than mention "I've parked my vehicle here", so a server can notify you if people need to be let out of the space if they're leaving before you're done. If you don''re not lucky enough to grab a parking spot right at the restaurant, you might have to go far up the road (sometimes almost to the hotel) or down the road (towards the parking area by the pubic washrooms) to reach any parking options. Definitely try it out if you are looking fit an option in Cowichan Bay. I know I'm looking forward to many more future happy crepe eating moments here with friends.

Quattro Bambini Pizzeria - Pizza with chicken

The pizza here is outstanding! The atmosphere is lovely and we were very pleased with our…read moreexperience. However, the day that we visited, their Internet was down and it was cash only. The manager on duty was very frustrated by this situation and our server was apologetic. I went next-door to the grocery store ATM to get cash as no one in my dining party had cash or a debit card. It was most curious that the pizzas were all brought out with scissors so we could cut them ourselves. Apparently they don't own any pizza cutters in the kitchen. There was a nice selection of beers on tap. 4 of them. Yelp didn't save the pictures I took on the app or there would be more of our pizza.

Decent place to grab a later bite to eat as you're driving into the mid-island. Grabbed a flavoured…read moreiced tea, pizza (had chicken on it but don't recall the name) & tried what was sounded like a light dessert (as I didn't want to be stuck with a giant slice of tiramisu that I wasn't able to eat by myself). Pizza was a solid meal for one & I had a bit of leftovers. The dessert of non-warmed bread & cold Nutella like spread was something I probably would skip for that price. It came out like one should dunk the bread slices into the giant cup of Nutella. Bread was soft (tasted lovely but lightly toasted would of been better for dipping) & couldn't dip, let alone barely scoop out the Nutella. So I was that person & grabbed a knife off a different set table away from mine to be able to even enjoy my dessert. I let the server know that I thought the meal was good & that at least warmed bread would make a world of difference in the enjoyment of the dessert option while paying up at the till. There's various seating options with lower or raised tables, as well as the bar height kitchen seating. Server was lovely & tried her best to provide me a good experience even though the closing cleaning was visibly happening around me & the few other tables. Lots of parking options being that it has a parking lot connected to all the other businesses in that area. Handicap spot well placed. Sidewalk was low enough that if you didn't get the handicap spot, the height of the sidewalk would be less of a barrier for someone with mobility changelings. The washroom was generous in size & decently set up for handicap use. However, I was left wondering if it was a fully packed place, how easily one could maneuver between tables & the kitchen to reach the washroom spots. Also, as I was there towards the end of their night, I'm not sure how loud it is with a full restaurant but I did feel the music was on the high end for that time of night. Again, I get it if staff were getting close to closing they were more in prep & cleaning mode. I might try this location another time earlier in the day to see if I enjoy it more or the same with friends.
