I do not go to this stand as often as other stands such a Gravity or BFJ. I cannot apologize for how a barista made me feel by serving other cars she knew before me. I will definitely not be going back to this stand if it was the last stand in business the owner is rude! I leave plenty of 5 star ratings. If service is not up to par why should I be dishonest... I should not. I drove away feeling very sad after my treatment, free coffee would not make it better. The last coffee establishment owned up to their mistake of giving the wrong drink and food. Not my fault. I let my review stand as is, that was my experience and I just learned that I am better off making my coffee at home or going elsewhere where I have good and kind service! Today was a challenging day, I visted 1/06/2021 at around 12:30pm. Came on in and around to the side by the road. Car in front of me. After they left I drove up, asked what I wanted. I indicated, the car on other side changed out to a woman who kept looking my way. I then noticed this woman was handed the clipboard to pay and got her drink before me but arrived at the window after me.. The barista want to say her name was Kea (receipt said this) knew her and perhaps... she drove off and barista came back to verify my drink... man drives up on other window.. barista is solo she has his drink already and addresses him by his name stating she saw him. She hands me my drink and then she gives him his drink. I felt very unimportant today visiting this stand. A guest is a guest regardless of my frequency. Yes I get a regular is wonderful but do not diminish my visit and treat me less. My drink did not even taste that great and my experience was horrible! I drove away wishing I had not come, I felt even worse than I already was. I am unemployed and this was a splurge that I now regret having wasted coming to this stand to be treated less than welcome because I am not a daily regular.

This is the best coffee stand in the area. Consistently exceed my expectations and I was a sbux barista for 10 years. The morning crew is fabulous and learn your name. I love the point system. My favorite is the vanilla chai latte or the pumpkin vanilla chai latte- they use a mix which is phenomenal! My other go to is an americano and they always offer to add ice to cool it a bit. Great service, I can't say enough good things! Sometimes in the afternoon the milk is not aerated properly and can taste less creamy in the drink, but otherwise the afternoon crew is awesome, too!

The best coffee in the area by far! So rich in flavor, I tried the decaf latte and it's still so full bodied! The baristas are sweet and welcoming, Wednesday's they have fresh made Belgian waffles and I got one one the house to try, I don't even like waffles but these were AMAZING! My daughter got a strawberry steamer, they made it perfect temperature. I hate steamers because they taste so milky and artificial but this actually tastes good!

My scone was flaky and light, not overly dense and had just the right amount of icing. They have a nice selection of baked goods as well as some deli items if you're looking for a meal. The atmosphere was really cool- the coffee shop has two other buildings to choose from to enjoy your coffee and conversations. Inside the main building, there's a fireplace and garage doors that can open up to flow into the outdoor seating area. One of the other buildings actually has an encased "treehouse" you can choose to use (so cool!!!). The service was attentive, and the employees were really friendly and helpful. I got the stairway to heaven coffee flight (cold brew, latte, caramel macchiatto, and another drink I forget) and everything was pretty bad. Cold brew was inoffensive but watery and everything else was very bland and watered down. Looking at the rest of the specialty coffee drink menu it was all super sweet desserty white chocolate drinks similar to what you'd find at all the terrible drive-thru coffee stalls you find everywhere in Seattle. Food looked like it might be better but not the place to go for coffee.

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #117…read more We visited Onit Cafe on a rainy Saturday afternoon in June, hoping to score an after lunch boba. Sprinting through the downpour, as we hadn't expected the rain, we threw ourselves into this modern, yet industrial shop, where we saw a couple of people sitting inside like us to wait out the rain. We placed our order with the friendly bobarista and got our drink within a couple of minutes. Jasmine Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - The milk tea has a heavy powdery creamer flavor, but it's not gritty or silty at all. Unfortunately it's so heavy that the drink tastes almost entirely like creamer with only a tiny bit of flowery finish. It's not the most pleasant flavor due to this quality. While the creamer is on the heavier end, the sweetness is not; at half sweet it's not too sweet. The boba is very good, super bouncy and chewy with basically the ideal texture. They aren't marinated that long so aren't quite that sweet or flavorful. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Onit Cafe is one of those rare places where I liked the boba far more than the drink. I don't visit Federal Way too often, but if I'm even down there again, I'd give it another shot to see if I can get a better drink next time. Bathrooms - Two individual rooms, one for men, one for women

It is not overly sweet and you can actually see and taste the black sesame. I also used to love their black sesame macarons. The buttercream filling is so yummy and nutty! But lately the macaron shells taste like a freezer. Like on the verge of being freezer burned. Such a bummer because the shells have a great texture too but it's hard to get past that freezer burn taste.

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #115…read more This is one of three Sunright Tea Studio locations in King County and is by far the largest in terms of size. It's the only one that has actual seating and tables, which makes it a much better location to relax in and slowly sip on drinks. We visited on the way down to Portland, hoping to get a caffeine pick-me-up before the long rush-hour fueled traffic on the way down. This location has two kiosks for easy ordering, although in less busy times, the bobaristas are happy to take orders and answer questions. Fragrant really condensed milk and extra cane sugar for sweetness. Slight fruit essence. regular ice on a hot day almost all gone within five minutes. About 3:1 ratio tea to milk Boba great soft yet really chewy and bouncy. Compresses soft layer on outside. Fragrant Oolong Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Regular Ice, House Milk w/ Brown Sugar Boba ($7.25) - As the name implies, this drink really is quite fragrant, with the somewhat fruity and floral taste that is similar to an osmanthus oolong. It's rich from the addition of condensed milk - in fact, this drink seems to have more dairy in it compared to most boba shops. Watching the bobarista assemble the drink, I saw perhaps a third of the cup filled with milk and condensed milk before adding the tea. I ordered the drink with regular ice and it wasn't nearly enough to survive the hot day - within 5 minutes of pulling out, all the ice was gone. The boba is great. It's soft yet really chewy and bouncy. There's a compressible soft layer right on top that's pleasing on the tongue. Milk Tea Rating: 4.5/5 Boba Rating: 5/5 This Sunright Tea Studio is consistent with the other two locations in the county, serving some really great drinks. I don't come down to Federal Way often, but this would be my choice for boba for any future trips that far down south. Bathrooms - Single unisex room
