    Bacon burrito

As I was in the area getting car work done I needed a place to sit and work and I'm so glad to have found this coffee shop! The atmosphere was very family friendly, with many people meeting up for coffee and others like myself who were working on their computers! There was also the option for outdoor seating with two tables outside. The baristas were also all very kind and made my experience that much better! I got to try the bacon burrito which was warmed up throughly for the perfect bite. Truly the best burrito I've had in a long time and would definitely recommend. I also got a London fog, which as a tea enthusiast I'm picky about but the foam to milk ratio was perfect! If you happen to be in the area or even around make sure to stop by!

Quaint coffee shop that we stopped by for a matcha and cafe latte. The drinks itself I can't say were memorable but we still enjoyed our beverage here.

So decided to check this spot out. So delicious I had a iced blueberry tea and my family had a americano with chocolate, a blueberry scone and a blended chai. We are all super satisfied. My daughter lives in Olympia and we live in lynnwood so we met up the street for lunch and wanted a coffee fix. We landed here and will be back next time.

Good coffee and food Super friendly place. And reasonable prices. Nice little place to enjoy some alone time. I will most definitely come back here when I am in town.

First timer! When I walked in, there's a shelf of snacks on the right. It made me happy to realize that there's good vegan, gluten free, and/ or soy free options for snacks! I ordered the sweet matcha latte with soy milk sub, and my partner ordered the caramel macchiato with soy milk sub. The drinks were yummy and weren't saturated in sugar syrup or anything crazy so that was awesome! Service was quick, there seems to be a lot of regulars who come in, which is a great sign! The cafe vibes are also cozy feeling with open windows all around to let in some natural light. What a great little spot :)

Our house is near this coffee shop and we love the people in here. We come here whenever we have a chance or when when we rush to go to work. The workers here are so so so friendly. They not only remember what our drinks is and they always carry their lovely faces to welcome us. I took some lovely pics of their shop and hope this review can really introduce them to the community. Free Wi-Fi and lovely place, definitely is a good place for work and study.

This is my second visit to Asensio. It's been a couple years. The coffee is still a spot on! I had a 20 ounce butter pecan latte with an extra shot. Their espresso roast is fantastic: a good quality coffee! The lobby/seating area is starting to get very worn and would definitely benefit from some updating/ remodeling. (Broken floor tiles, worn wood, leather easy chairs coming unstitched.). However, as a business owner myself, I am fully aware of the financial cost and difficulty in finding contractors to upgrade the space. I am sure that will come in time. A big shout out to the owner for keeping the quality up and making this a fantastic place to sip coffee while working on a paper or reading a book.

    Cozy seating.

Love this coffee shop. I'm from California but have been visiting family for the holidays. I went to UPS one day and seen this coffee shop next door. The shop looked appealing so I went in and absolutely loved the vibe! The employees are friendly, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the coffee tastes amazing. It's been my go to coffee shop while here. Love this place and will definitely keep coming back every time I visit.

    lovely place to curl up!

LOVE this coffee shop! Great atmosphere right off the back. Maybe a little crowded, but there's definitely a lot of thought and charm that goes into the layout and the decor - definitely loved that the chair I used was an up-cycled pitchfork! Excellent customer service all around - she even brought the drinks out to the table, which is something I always appreciate, but don't expect in places like this. This coffee shop basically has all of the drinks you'd expect to find at a gourmet coffee shop and they do them really well. I really like that they have several choices for non-dairy milks. Looking around I saw that they had several food selections, which includes vegan and GF. It's far enough away that I'm not going to make it my normal coffee shop (sad panda!) - but I'll most definitely return next time I'm in the area!

Large iced London fog...I asked for a small but they can only do large if it's iced.

Found a new space to work from "home". I'm all for supporting local coffee shops. This place is all that and they know it. My first time, I could tell that they really value community. The staff notices new customers and welcome their daily usuals. Being my first time, I could tell the staff was a little stand off-ish and weren't as peppy towards a new face. I plan on being a regular so no worries about that. I ordered a small iced London fog, but they could only do a large if it was iced. I thought that was kind of weird, but you know, treat yourself I guess lol. The tea was quality and it wasn't too sweet. The one downside is that they don't really have any COVID precaution. The staff never wears masks and do not enforce it for customers. It's nice that the space is big enough that if you want to work there, it's good for social distancing. You don't have to be close to anyone, just mainly when you order. Located in federal way. They have a private parking lot. Perfect space to study/get work done. Plenty of outlets. Overall...come one, come all, come vaxxed.

Can I work on my laptop at this location while I drink my coffee?

    Totally. Great Wi-Fi signal!

Are the syrups sugerfree (with no artificial sweeteners) and is there unsweetened non dairy milk?

They use Holy Kakow organic syrups and there are some sugar free options. My understanding is that Amy would not order anything with artificial sweeteners; she is very conscientious about what she orders. And yes, they have hemp, almond, and coconut…

Seattle-Area Boba Shop Review #117…read more We visited Onit Cafe on a rainy Saturday afternoon in June, hoping to score an after lunch boba. Sprinting through the downpour, as we hadn't expected the rain, we threw ourselves into this modern, yet industrial shop, where we saw a couple of people sitting inside like us to wait out the rain. We placed our order with the friendly bobarista and got our drink within a couple of minutes. Jasmine Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($6.75) - The milk tea has a heavy powdery creamer flavor, but it's not gritty or silty at all. Unfortunately it's so heavy that the drink tastes almost entirely like creamer with only a tiny bit of flowery finish. It's not the most pleasant flavor due to this quality. While the creamer is on the heavier end, the sweetness is not; at half sweet it's not too sweet. The boba is very good, super bouncy and chewy with basically the ideal texture. They aren't marinated that long so aren't quite that sweet or flavorful. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 Onit Cafe is one of those rare places where I liked the boba far more than the drink. I don't visit Federal Way too often, but if I'm even down there again, I'd give it another shot to see if I can get a better drink next time. I'm generally a latte person, so I went with the Matcha Pandan, and I thought it was pretty good! Most of my family was specifically craving ice cream, though, so they went for the soft serve. They have a few different drinks and desserts to choose from, making it a convenient place when everyone wants something a little different. My biggest gripe is the space (really, the lack thereof). We were a party of seven, and Cafe Seoul is extremely small and cramped inside. Seating is very limited, and we couldn't really sit together until some people left and others were kind enough to share or give up chairs. There were also a few students hanging out when we visited, so I definitely wouldn't count on this being a comfortable sit-down spot if you're coming with a larger group. The layout doesn't help much either. The menu and some of the seating are awkwardly positioned near the bathroom, and at certain points you're basically squeezing past people just to get around. For a quick drink or dessert, it's manageable, but I wouldn't personally choose this as somewhere to settle in and hang out for a long time with a big party. If you manage to snag enough seats, consider yourself lucky. Service was okay. It took a while for everyone's orders to come out, and unfortunately one of ours was completely missed. We eventually realized it hadn't even been included in the original transaction, so we had to go back up and pay for it separately. Nothing that ruined the night, but between that and the wait, service wasn't necessarily a highlight either. Cafe Seoul gets the job done and meets standard expectations. My Matcha Pandan was tasty, my family got their late-night soft serve fix, and being open later than your average coffee shop is a bonus. I wouldn't go significantly out of my way for it, but if I'm ever back in Federal Way and craving a late-night latte or dessert, I'd consider stopping by again.

There was one employee working, but it did not look very busy inside. We ordered 4 dubai chewy cookies, 1 taro croffle, 1 small galaxy ade, and 1 large taro/oreo smoothie. Our total came out to around $60. Dubai chewy cookies were very tasty, I am a huge fan of dubai chocolates. My galaxy ade tasted very watered down, barely any grape flavor, and little to none carbonation. The taro/oreo smoothie was decent. The basque cheescake was flavorful. The taro croffle was actually very good, better compared to the other locations. My main concern was the fact that I found some sort of hair in my croffle. We had already eaten some of the croffle and we brought it up to the employee. He told us it is a sugar strand and showed us an example. Yet, when I pulled the strand out of the croffle, it was more attached to the taro cream and it had no similar texture to the sugar strand. The sugar strand should melt and break easily but this strand did not, it was also more like a white-ish color. I'm thinking it was maybe a pet hair. The employee was very friendly about it and made us a new croffle free of charge.

Fragrant Oolong Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, Regular Ice, House Milk w/ Brown Sugar Boba ($7.25) - As the name implies, this drink really is quite fragrant, with the somewhat fruity and floral taste that is similar to an osmanthus oolong. It's rich from the addition of condensed milk - in fact, this drink seems to have more dairy in it compared to most boba shops. Watching the bobarista assemble the drink, I saw perhaps a third of the cup filled with milk and condensed milk before adding the tea. I ordered the drink with regular ice and it wasn't nearly enough to survive the hot day - within 5 minutes of pulling out, all the ice was gone. The boba is great. It's soft yet really chewy and bouncy. There's a compressible soft layer right on top that's pleasing on the tongue. For drinks, we got a couple of sodas at Canteen, a Willie Maize Hazy IPA on tap at the 7 Seas bar, and I tried a refreshing Lavender Patch (16 oz iced sparkling espresso with lavender syrup and yuzu lemonade) at Naomi Joe Coffee. They have some pinball machines, free water at the back, and a party room you can rent. As with most breweries, it is family-friendly. I love the laid-back and friendly atmosphere of this place. The employees here are really nice, and the coffee beans are some of the most vibrant and packed with flavor (my preference) due to the experimental techniques used and their careful sourcing. Definitely a must-stop for my Tacoma visits!
