I wanted something healthy so came across this spot for lunch. I called in my order of the chipotle chicken wrap and peanut butter banana smoothie with flax. When I arrived parking was hard so I parked illegally in the front. I walked into a cute cafe. The cook came and greeted me and he was nice. I paid a little over $17 and left. I ate in the car and the wrap was very good. The smoothie was ok tasting. Wish it was a little more sweet. All in all I enjoyed my experience. read more

Açaí Bowl I ordered an açaí bowl and was very disappointed. It was completely liquid and had no flavor. I felt like I was drinking water with blueberries and bananas. I did order it on DoorDash but the driver was awesome and the bowl came within 8 minutes so I don't think the bowl would turn completely liquid within that time frame. Quench is located in Downtown Stroudsburg, PA. I read positive reviews on social media about the little juice bar and cafe. So I set out early on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to experience the reportedly delicious food and ambience of Quench. The physical environment appeared aesthetically pleasant upon entering. Bright orange against a white backdrop enhanced the simple decor of the cafe. We were greeted by a cheerful young staffer who carefully took our order. While placing our order, the owner appeared (her picture is prominently displayed on the wall in a newspaper article featuring Quench). This is when a bright introduction began to dull into the unfortunate and subsequent 2 star rating for the visit to this business. 1. An inquiry about the menu was abrasively responded to by the owner. 2. Micro management by the owner (chef) resulted in missing items from the order; a delay in the order (to stay); and an uneasiness for our cheerful cashier and patrons. 3. The owner publicly blamed the cashier for the "order mix up" and informed us that while she "didn't want to toot her own horn, (the delayed order) was worth the wait". 4. Obviously, the young cashier was visibly dismayed. By the way, the cashier reiterated the order as requested and did not omit any items. 5. Unfortunately, under the unprofessional leadership example of management by the owner, the cashier proceeded to discuss the minor incident with other patrons or colleagues. 5. While we began to eat tbe items ordered, staff began cleaning with bleach; moving furniture and other items around our booth and stacking packed items near our booth. One associate excused himself while moving items around us as we attempted to eat the meal that we eventually just requested a bag to take the items. The purpose of this lengthy review is an attempt to alert the owner and communicate the sheer frustration of a patron who simply wanted a good meal. While tbe food and drink were tasty, the customer service and ambience of Quench left a dry taste in my mouth and a hunger for the positive experiences cited in other reviews. The climate and culture of a business is primary to the services. On a positive note, I remain hopeful that another visit to Quench is justified for the delicious Reggae Runner smoothie (strawberries, pineapple, mangoes, and apple juice). read more

So I happened to be staying in the poconos and craved a fresh juice. This came up on yelp, and wanted to check it out. They have a $10 for $5 deal (which essentially is buy a juice get one free). I bought that before going in. I must have been the only person to ever buy this because when I went to redeem it the guy was so thrown off, it kind of took me by surprise. First he said "you have to print this out" to which I said it wasn't necessary. Then he said maybe you have to spend a certain amount. He read the voucher and when it came to the "print" part he stopped and said see! I said read on and right below it says "or use on mobile phone." He then had to go in the back and grab someone. The two of them tried to figure out what this was for about 5 minutes. They then had to call the owner. Quite the process. Staff should know this deal if it's offered. I write this so that if you download this deal, tell them before hand. The juice is very fairly priced and after the confusion over $5 dollars off, he was very helpful in deciding what to order. I got a beat/veggie juice that was very good. My friend enjoyed hers as well. The juices are freshly made while you wait. They also had some DELICIOUS vegan cookies up front. We were bummed we didn't get more. The guy warned us they're good, and they are!! Don't leave this place without grabbing one. read more

Fresh squeezed juices I had the beet, apple carrot and ginger- delish! Then we had the best sandwiches and wraps we could have ever hoped for. The chicken pesto panini was amazing. The curry chicken salad was way way way better then anything should ever taste. And the chipotle chicken wrap was inhaled it was so good. I'm usually in this place about once or twice a week. Was upset to see it didn't have as many reviews as I thought. Stopped in yesterday, ordered a chicken caesar wrap. As always, it was great. Almost EVERY time I'm here, I cannot help myself but buy the gluten-free cookies. They are out of this world. I've tried every flavor, they are all amazing. Definitely give them a try if you stop in. Their smoothies are always great as well. Never to watery, great flavor, & most are protein packed! Since switching to the summer menu, I fell in love with the 'Banana Jamma', my favorite thus far. Amazing, delicious, healthy food. We are from out of town and we happened to stubble upon this little gem while looking for another restaurant in Stroudsburg. Initially, we ordered a purple rain smoothie, then an apple sandwich and both so delicious we decided to scrap our other plans and eat lunch at Quench. I ordered the Fall Salad, a spinach salad with squash , tomatoes ,walnuts with a cranberry vinaigrette. (homemade) It was truly amazing. My boyfriend ordered the Italian wedding soup and chicken curry salad sandwich...yum.. We were so delighted with our meal and smoothie that we decided to get another smoothie and two of their sugar free, gluten free cookies. (holy god they were to die for, I'm even thinking about asking the owner if she will ship me some) . The only bad thing is that this restaurant is so far away from were we live! If Quench was closer I would no doubt be eating there multiple times a week. I'm going to give this place two stars only because the food is decent. Otherwise, they get a one star for their poor business model. The first time I ordered from here, I got their menu from their website. When I went to pick up the food, two things happened. First, they charged me way more than what was posted on their website. Apparently, the prices have changed but they never made the changes on their online menus. They did not honor the prices listed on their website or the old menus posted out front on their doors. Second, the cashier charged me for both what I ordered AND the order placed before mine.To their credit, they eventually sorted out the second problem. So, I decided to give this place another shot and purchased the special $5 for $10 offer with them. However, they refused to honor it, citing that since my friend and I were purchasing together, we were not permitted to use the certificate. Nowhere does the certificate say that you're not allowed to do this. The certificate actually says "One Per Party" (not one per person as the cashier suggested) and my friend and I together were definitely one party. I've never had a problem using certificates at other restaurants where a group of us, i.e. our party, were not permitted to use certificates merely because we ordered together. Overall, I think this place is poorly ran and I will never visit again. The food was okay and the prices are high. There are plenty of other places on Main St. with better food and better service. read more
