Food, service and ambiance made for a visit i didn't want to leave from. Went in AM for a warm frothy yummy coffee. And returned for their famous Sweet Cream cold brewed coffee and a breakfast sandwich 1.5 later. :) Im from walnut creek. I plan to return with the sis and cousin to stay a while. Love this space! Friendly service too! Even thr restroom is quaint and cute. Felt right at home, cozy. All pastries made in house. The muffins look so yummy.

Stopped by this morning for coffee. Had not been here in a while and it was the first we actually planned on sticking around to drink our coffee. I love the way this place is decorated! The owner, who was on site, decorated the interior which was a blend of local history, movie memorabilia and vintage items. The service was quick and friendly. They have a great list of Torani syrups. Including the largest list of sugar free syrups I have seen in a while. They also have a variety of baked goods that are made on site. We tried the blackberry turnover and the cinnamon twist. Both were delicious. I also took a slice of the coffee cake to take home. Apparently it gets great reviews. They also have a breakfast and lunch menu This is going to be our go to place for coffee in Galt! Lastly, our two large lattes and baked goods cost us less than $20. Compared to the "other" coffee spots in town this was a good value. Especially since the baked goods are baked fresh that sort of puts it over the top.

This spot is known for its coffee cake. Purdy good.

The ground floor of a hotel from the 1920s was renovated and repurposed to be this quaint little rustic cafe. I was looking most forward to trying the cold brew and coffee cake here since it seems like these are the standout items. --------------- Cold brew: taste of the coffee itself is alright (a little overly bitter) but I really like the cream used. It has a caramel/hazelnut-y vibe to it without being too sweet. I enjoyed the drink overall especially considering its price (less than 3 bucks for a small size.....could easily be 5 bucks elsewhere). Coffee cake: taste isn't anything to write home about, but I can see why people love it as I was pleasantly surprised that the cake is oil-based, which renders its iconic fluffiness and sponginess. It's like an exceptionally soft square-shaped muffin. Cinnamon twist (impulse bought): crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. Not too heavy-handed on the sugar. Fun one to eat. --------------- Service was pretty awkward. During the middle of my ordering the cashier guy abruptly scolded another staff member for not handing a drink quickly to a customer. Overall a cafe worth checking out especially if you drive through here on the 99 frequently (makes a quick stop off of the highway).

I found this little gem of a place while driving through San Joaquin County. It has a lot of vintage decorations and a homey feel it's incredibly adorable. I asked the proprietor about his coffee drink and he said he doesn't drink coffee but their Chai is fantastic. I ordered the English toffee latte and it was delicious. I also had a slice of the coffee cake that they are known for. I am a foodie and a competitive baker. I can tell you this is one of the best coffee cakes I've ever had. It was incredibly moist and flavorful, I would highly recommend this place if you ever are in Galt.

They have small tables, big tables, individual comfy chairs and a big couch. Free book library, games, and puzzles

I have been to the Coffee Shop Bakery now about 4 times and I really like it. The drink are delicious, the food items are fresh, the shop has a fun Americana vibe to it and friendly workers. I am definitely planning on making weekly trips here to support this lovely business

This place is the best in the whole wide world. I come here every weekend for their amazing coffee cakes and brownies. Their shop is very very popular. The workers are kind and sweet they have free books you can read and fun for games for your kids. My favorite part of this coffee shop is the games because I get to play with my mom every single day and we make lots of memories. This coffee shop can bring families together. Please try it out. Delicious coffee and pastries. Love stopping in when I'm in Lodi. I deleted my coffee picture but my cold brew was great and my husband enjoyed his latte. Quick and nice service. Very cute inside. Go by and give them a try.

The coffee cake is ridiculously good (speaking as an aficionado of all things cinnamon). It is reasonably priced and the only thing I need.

And everything tastes incredible. We ordered for a Baby Shower and they really changed so much to fit our theme. They were so friendly and helpful. This was the first time ordering a cake from an actual bakery. Normally I'll go to Sam's club or…read moreCostco, pick a number for theme I want and get a huge cake for 20 bucks. I seen that this place had amazing cakes so I wanted to spend more money to get a cake that would be memorable for my daughter. I placed a cake order and an order of cookies. Everything was supposed to be a mario world theme but pink because my daughter loves Toadette. I called and spoked with Desta she told me to send her an email with what I wanted. I thought I was clear on what I wanted. I asked for the cake to be pink and white, but what I got was all pink cake. I had asked for a strawberry and cream filling and I got only cream. I ordered pink mushroom cookies but I received red ones. We communicated through email, text and then they called me to confirm and to do the deposit and I had told them again and reminded them that I wanted pink mushroom cookies. The cookies were almost the same price as the cake and to receive what I didnt ask for kinda sucked. They offered me a dozen cup cakes to make up for the mistake but still messed up the theme that we had planned for the bday. The cookies did taste good I will admit that. I dont mean to be mean but the cake was my least favorite. In the email I had asked for a frosting that wasn't too sweet. I got fondant, I should have said not to use fondant I'm not a fan of fondant. The cake was also poorly made. The cake it self was not leveled they just stacked both cakes together upside down which created a big gap on the sides of the cake that was just filled with fondant. I've never seen a cake like that. I'm not gonna lie even tho the cake looked nice I thought it was going to be more nicer compared to the pics i've seen. It looked really plane. Desta did call the next day to apologize for the mistake while I was im the middle of the party so I missed the call. I heard the message she left, she apologized. I didnt call back because I didnt know what to say. Just wish they had a better system to order or a more clear communication. I've never done this before I was just trying to have a nice cake for my daughter but felt like I failed her. Dont let my review detour you from going and giving them a shot. I'll probably try Nugget next year.

The line moved too quick I wish i couldve have more time to decide so i ended up getting more than I wanted. We got there Chocolate croissant, brioche, Flan Vanille, macaroons, marshmallow, 2 tuna sandwich, ham and cheese croissant and the croque monsieur. Although everything was pleasant our favorite was the Flan Vanille and the tuna sandwiches. The Flan vanille is my new favorite dessert going forward. I know it was a busy day and the staff was busy with the orders and service making tables available however they could improve in checking their bathroom and trash bins. All bins were too full even one by the counter. We notice that the staff continously wiping the counter but didnt notice the overflowing trash bin. Other than that i couldnt stop bragging about Mason Benoit on my social media. We will definitely come back.

Although the cheesecake and bread pudding have been my favorites from the start, I do like to try things that are new to me. Sometimes it's a hit, and sometimes it's a miss. But I guess that's just a personal taste thing. I'm not really sure if there is a best time to come here in order to get the freshest and largest variety. Some days I come in and it's fully stocked, and sometimes it's a bit picked over. But you really never know what you might find at times. And I enjoy that. For example... I went in recently and found pumpkin muffins. Where the heck can you get great pumpkin muffins in the summer? They were big and delicious. I'm glad I bought extra to keep in my freezer. I do wish they had tongs. I'm not a fan of people sticking their hands inside the case to get things, although they do have papers that you are supposed to use. I generally always see people using them, but it still would be more sanitary if they provided tongs. I find the prices to be reasonable, and the employees are friendly. Just be aware that there is an additional fee for using a card to pay, whether it is debit or credit. And should you require a box and not a paper bag for your purchases, you pay $.50 for it. I recommend that you give this place a try. I have told others about it and they now enjoy stopping in.
