If you are looking for a sweet treat you've come to the right place! The pan dulce is so soft and tasty. They recently started serving coffee drinks and they are super yummy. The drinks are on the sweeter side so if that's your jam then this is the place for you! The drinks come with a glitter concha which is so thoughtful. As of June 2025, a small is $7.50 which is comparable to other coffee shops plus you get a concha so I think it's fair prices. They also serve bottled coffee drinks for $5. The service is always friendly and quick. The shop is smaller and full of bread so if there are a lot of people it could feel tight but I haven't had that issue when I've been there. If you need pan dulce, let me rephrase that, if you want the best pan dulce in Galt, just go to Aroma as they have the best pan around and the prices are very affordable. I was accompanied by a pan dulce expert, my wife, who loves pan dulce but is very perticular about her pan. She's like one of the judges at Westminister dog show, looking at the pan and judging it's worthiness. She scoped out the bread pudding, the conchas, and some others. I was hopeful that churros were available as I have been on a churro quest but alas, churros are only available on the weekend. The team at Aroma know how to make pan dulce and the prices are very affordable. The interior space is small and can fill up fast, so get your pan and get out. There's no time to take a bite of your concha as your leaving. You can't miss Aroma when looking for it Google, Waze, or Apple Maps, just like for the bright pink truck and building. I feel bad, I dont know the girls name but there is a thinner girl in the morning who is super nice and makes the best Mazapan Iced Latte and she always has great customer service and always includes a mini pan dulce with the latte but unfortunately there is a heavier girl who isn't that nice, actually somewhat rude and never includes the mini pan dulce with the Lattes. The Pan' is good, nothing is priced so based on who you are or what day of the week it is they flex their prices. I had an experience where the young light skin girl acts like she doesn't know English while taking my order then at the end of the transaction talks perfect English while the girls laugh in the background. I love this place so much. My only complaint is I wish I didn't live so far away so I could have it more often! But seriously, this place is consistently delicious and they have a great selection. The pan is perfectly sweet, light and fluffy, and always hits the spot. The cuernitos and elotes are my favorite but I've had the conchas and puerquitos as well and they are equally delicious. Employee was basically staring me down when I asked for a minute or two while I needed to look at what they had to offer. Immediately when I opened the door the floor I couldn't helped but notice how everything overall just looked messy and cluttered, maybe it was busy I don't know but if you're a food business you shouldn't have flies and crumbs any food all over your floors. A local brought me on a tour through Galt and said this was the best Panadería in town. I've had many conchas in my life, even in Mexico, and I would have to say this is my new favorite bakery in the Sacramento area! There is a massive selection made fresh each day which was a beautiful sight. I tried a pink concha, white concha, and a concha with a cream inside. They were sooo tasty! Freshly made at 11 AM and they were perfectly soft & sweet with a nice crunch from the sugar. The store front is also complete with such cute & fun decor and I loved the extra touches for the holiday season. When I went to check out, I also noticed they sold some novelty items; concha slippers, concha & paleta payaso pop sockets, and some badge reels! I had to get a paleta payaso pop socket for my phone because it was too cute! The staff was so lovely and patient while I made my decision (you see all those tasty options?!) and I can not wait to visit Aroma again with more friends. read more

I visited Aroma Bakery on May 10th to buy pan dulce. I noticed they had some gelatinas already made. Specifically a strawberry and vanilla one. I asked the girl at the counter if those were for sale and if I could buy them, she said yes those are and we also make more flavors. I immediately got excited cause my favorite is coconut. Well she offered to make another and I told her I'd pick them up on Saturday. So I paid for three gelatinas-the vanilla, strawberry and the coconut one. All three would be ready for pick up the next day. Well when I went to pick them up, they only had 2 gelatinas and she told me they had sold the third one. I'm like what? I already paid for them. I have my receipt and she said I know. I asked which was sold and she said the coconut one! Im like how do you sell something thats already sold and has been paid for by another customer? She then just said I will just refund you the money. No apology, no credit, no offer to get another one free or on the house, just we sold it to somebody else. Wow. I was not expecting this service at this place. It really sucks cause we go there often and their desserts are so good. I only gave an extra star cause she at least refunded me, but I expected a bit more from a small business in Galt. read more

This is an awesome mexican bakery. To start off the employees are super amazingly friendly and helpful. The bread is so soft and fresh with great flavor and the prices are not bad either i bought 37 pieces of bread and it came out to $41. Of course i know it depends on the bread but either way its not a bad price. Be careful when ordering cakes from here. I recently placed a cake order and of course discussed the design, price, and pick-up time and day. Everything was agreed upon. On pick-up day, I arrive at the bakery in Galt (since Lodi is closed) about 10 minutes after the agreed pick-up time (12 noon) thinking the cake would be ready. I was greeted by a woman and told her that I was there to pick up a cake. She seemed confused and shocked I was there, even asking if it was for this bakery. She looked through order tags on the counter, nothing was found in my name. She pulled out a round cake with flowers asking if it was mine, even though mine was a 1/4 sheet Spongebob cake (so not even close). At that point I realized the cake probably wasn't even in the bakery, but the woman hasn't told me that yet. Being upset, I was about to order another cake from elsewhere. She then called someone twice, the second time the person picked up. She asked the person about bringing a cake for me. I was told it will be about 10 minutes. Being upset, I told her I would wait in my car. No apology yet... My cake finally arrives 10-20 minutes later. After my cake arrives, she shows me the cake and the greeting isn't even where it was agreed on. I told them, when ordering, to put the greeting on the surrounding cake board, but they squeezed it on top of the cake. I didn't say anything at the point because I was upset about waiting so long already for a cake that was supposed to be ready at noon. I ended up just paying and leaving. I reached out to them a day after and told them about the situation, only getting an apology then. I was expecting more professionalism and better customer service while I was in-store. I was disappointed because I was really looking forward to the cake after I heard good reviews. I just wanted better communication about the cake, and why it wasn't ready. But, nothing... I'm having second guesses about ordering another cake from here again. read more

I have ordered two cakes for my dad and my sister through Aroma Bakery and they knocked my orders out of the park! The cakes turned out similar to the photos I showed them. Their staff also has great customer service skills. I have gone to other bakeries in the area and have been fairly loyal to them prior to going to Aroma, however, their customer service and pricing are lacking. Aroma Bakery & Café has reasonable pricing and their staff goes out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with their product and service. They are willing to customize your order to the best of their abilities and are very flexible. They definitely work around their customers, not the other way around. Hi, I have been here many time to get Mexican bread. The bread itself is good but this review is on there cakes that they made for me this past Saturday. I ordered a cake with them and I gave them a picture on how I wanted it to look like. They told me no problem I can have it done like how it looks. The price of the cake as well was expensive also. I paid a Lil over 100 dollars for a cake serving 30 people. The day I went to pick it up I was expecting a good cake made well done since they seemed VERY confident. Well when I seen it, let's just say this I should have not even paid for it. I was very disappointed with them. I didn't have a choice since I was taking the birthday cake. The cake itself was very dry. The fondant on it was not smooth at all. They way it looked was horrible. I gave them a picture on how I wanted it to look and they couldn't even get it right. They happy birthday letters on it were not even centered correctly so that by itself made the cake look horrible. I won't be coming there for anymore cakes. read more
