    Great selection
    Brittany T.

I love this place so much. My only complaint is I wish I didn't live so far away so I could have it more often! But seriously, this place is consistently delicious and they have a great selection. The pan is perfectly sweet, light and fluffy, and always hits the spot. The cuernitos and elotes are my favorite but I've had the conchas and puerquitos as well and they are equally delicious. The owners are also super friendly. Definitely stop by for some tasty pan dulce next time you're in Galt!

A local brought me on a tour through Galt and said this was the best Panadería in town. I've had many conchas in my life, even in Mexico, and I would have to say this is my new favorite bakery in the Sacramento area! There is a massive selection made fresh each day which was a beautiful sight. I tried a pink concha, white concha, and a concha with a cream inside. They were sooo tasty! Freshly made at 11 AM and they were perfectly soft & sweet with a nice crunch from the sugar. The store front is also complete with such cute & fun decor and I loved the extra touches for the holiday season. When I went to check out, I also noticed they sold some novelty items; concha slippers, concha & paleta payaso pop sockets, and some badge reels! I had to get a paleta payaso pop socket for my phone because it was too cute! The staff was so lovely and patient while I made my decision (you see all those tasty options?!) and I can not wait to visit Aroma again with more friends.

love your cakes and pan dulce , have been ordering from my gender reveal cakes , baby shower , my kids birthday and each time it never fails. Cakes are perfectly made not overly sweet , cake is really spongy and moist. Will continue to order!

    Beautiful Birthday Cake

This was the most delicious Princess Cake I have ever had! It was decorated perfectly and just as I had requested. This is a truly exceptional Bakery! Thank you so much for making this custom cake for our special birthday event!

Minnie Mouse mini cake & cupcakes

Definitely Have to give them a 5 star rating. I used them for my daughters 1st Birthday and the cake and cupcakes were delicious!!! It was a last minute request and they were able to do a cake and cupcakes in a few days notice! I would highly recommend them to anyone! N also the pastries in there look amazing and smells delicious when you walk in.

Amazing cake! Great customer service. In the wake of COVID-19, we were unable to go to families house to celebrate a big birthday. Not only did they create an amazing German chocolate cake, and PB cupcakes...they also delivered for free. The process of ordering was simple and we were also able to pay over the phone. Will definitely be making this our go to bakery! Thank you!

I seen that this place had amazing cakes so I wanted to spend more money to get a cake that would be memorable for my daughter. I placed a cake order and an order of cookies. Everything was supposed to be a mario world theme but pink because my daughter loves Toadette. I called and spoked with Desta she told me to send her an email with what I wanted. I thought I was clear on what I wanted. I asked for the cake to be pink and white, but what I got was all pink cake. I had asked for a strawberry and cream filling and I got only cream. I ordered pink mushroom cookies but I received red ones. We communicated through email, text and then they called me to confirm and to do the deposit and I had told them again and reminded them that I wanted pink mushroom cookies. The cookies were almost the same price as the cake and to receive what I didnt ask for kinda sucked. They offered me a dozen cup cakes to make up for the mistake but still messed up the theme that we had planned for the bday. The cookies did taste good I will admit that. I dont mean to be mean but the cake was my least favorite. In the email I had asked for a frosting that wasn't too sweet. I got fondant, I should have said not to use fondant I'm not a fan of fondant. The cake was also poorly made. The cake it self was not leveled they just stacked both cakes together upside down which created a big gap on the sides of the cake that was just filled with fondant. I've never seen a cake like that. I'm not gonna lie even tho the cake looked nice I thought it was going to be more nicer compared to the pics i've seen. It looked really plane. Desta did call the next day to apologize for the mistake while I was im the middle of the party so I missed the call. I heard the message she left, she apologized. I didnt call back because I didnt know what to say. Just wish they had a better system to order or a more clear communication. I've never done this before I was just trying to have a nice cake for my daughter but felt like I failed her. Dont let my review detour you from going and giving them a shot. I'll probably try Nugget next year.

The prices were bargains, especially for the cookie tubs. I ended up buying a few, as I learned they're a Galt staple. I got some of the bite size chocolate chips. They weren't the chewy variety and a little sweeter than expected. Of the things I got, they were the most ok but not excellent. I still enjoyed. The snickerdoodles were really good. I'd definitely get those again. They were softer than the chocolate chip ones and not too sweet. They were great. I also got a tub of the sugar free chocolate macadamia cookies. They were good and I'd get them again. Sugar free sweets are tough to get things for, but they weren't bad like others I've had. Although with the variety of cookies available, I could get a whole new slate next time. Perhaps the stars were the things by the register. I got a big individually wrapped cookie. It was chocolate topped and chewy. I really enjoyed it. Up there, they also had pies, turnovers, and more. I'll definitely buy more of those next time I'm in, since those fresh ones look great. The loaves of bread took a lot of will power not to buy, but I won't resist next time. There were loaves of cinnamon swirl and apple pull apart bread that were begging to be eaten by me. I'll def be back to get more and try more.

We always go there to get pies and cookies. First Saturday is a good time for us to go there.read more

My first visit was a to-go order of the Original Croissant, Pain Suisse, and Flan, and I loved everything so much that I came back again a month later when I was in the area. Their pastries are seriously exceptional, and I can totally see why they won the award. Personally though, I actually love the Pain Suisse even more! The dough was flaky, buttery, a right balance between crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside with each bite. And the Flan Vanille is on another level. I've tried so many different flans and even know how to make a pretty good one myself, but this is the kind of flan I would bring to a party if I wanted to impress everyone. The bakery itself is beautiful, and I love that you can watch the bakers working through the glass window. Their pastry display is also dangerous because everything looks so good, with tons of sweet and savory options. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well. Staffs were friendly and welcoming. I also tried their holiday berry croissant on my second visit. They definitely did NOT skimp on the filling lol. It was actually a little too much filling-to-croissant ratio for me, but I appreciate the generosity! They have a very large variety to choose from. Although the cheesecake and bread pudding have been my favorites from the start, I do like to try things that are new to me. Sometimes it's a hit, and sometimes it's a miss. But I guess that's just a personal taste thing. I'm not really sure if there is a best time to come here in order to get the freshest and largest variety. Some days I come in and it's fully stocked, and sometimes it's a bit picked over. But you really never know what you might find at times. And I enjoy that. For example... I went in recently and found pumpkin muffins. Where the heck can you get great pumpkin muffins in the summer? They were big and delicious. I'm glad I bought extra to keep in my freezer. I do wish they had tongs. I'm not a fan of people sticking their hands inside the case to get things, although they do have papers that you are supposed to use. I generally always see people using them, but it still would be more sanitary if they provided tongs. I find the prices to be reasonable, and the employees are friendly. Just be aware that there is an additional fee for using a card to pay, whether it is debit or credit. And should you require a box and not a paper bag for your purchases, you pay $.50 for it. I recommend that you give this place a try. I have told others about it and they now enjoy stopping in.

(Last I checked most people prefer not to eat the green part of the strawberries, and chew on an orange skin. Their donuts are overpriced as well and not great. It took me three times to finally say something. 1st time I went to get a dozen donuts for my company, not nice and garbage donuts. 2nd time shame on me for giving them another try. Third time, review has to let Lodians know. Not to mention they aren't the most polite people either.
