This is one of my favorite coffee shops in Lodi. The coffee is great no matter what you order. The…read moreonly thing I will warn you about is if you want to order the coffee tasting flight, make sure you ask the barista if she knows how to make them. I've had them plenty of times but the lady time I went I was very disappointed and frustrated. I had never in the past had such a bad experience. The barista took our order and then proceeded to take other orders and make theirs before mine. I waited almost AN HOUR for two coffee tasting flights that were absolutely horrible. She then disclosed that she was new and didn't know how to make them. I asked for a refund and left. But overall with the exception of that one terrible experience, it's a great place to sit and enjoy some coffee.

I wanted to try their seasonal drink which was the banana latte (correct me if I'm wrong with this), ordered it and sat outside so we can watch for trains as we wait for my drink. One of the baristas came out and told me that they ran out of banana, but I can sub it with something else. I decided on strawberry. I got my drink delivered to me outside and that was an extra service that I really liked. That was a delight and it made my day. The drink was good and it gave me the extra boost I needed for my busy day.

This place is nestled between Papapavlos and First Toast and they all share the outdoor seating space. By 10am it started to fill up. My friend and I both wanted a latte as we saw some cute pics on Yelp of their coffee art. I would say that I was disappointed, however both girls told us they were practicing so I figured why not. We asked for cups but they gave it to us in a to go cup with a lid...no point in coffee art if it's going to be covered up lol. After I took off the lid I understood why LOL. At least she warned us and tried. The coffee itself was pretty good, nothing that stood out though. It's a cute shop, with a minimalist/nature feel inside...real cozy. The atmosphere alone is enough to bring us back for a second cup! Overall, the experience was pleasant.

The girl making my coffee had light brown hair with blonde highlights in it and let me tell you my coffee was terrible because it was like warm. My wife's came out hot so not sure why she made mine almost cold. She was really unfriendly. The outside is beautiful but the inside needs some work. Maybe it was her attitude bringing me down idk.

My girlfriend and I stopped by Maison Lodi for lunch before spending the afternoon in town, and as…read moreusual, it did not disappoint. We both ordered the prime rib sandwich. I got mine with no cheese and a side of onions, and it was every bit as good as I remembered. One thing that was a little odd was that my friend's plate came with chips and veggies while mine only came with the sandwich and veggies. I'm not sure if there was a difference in how the orders were entered, but it definitely caught my attention. That said, those chips were absolutely delicious. We liked them so much that we packed up the leftovers and took them with us while we walked over to the visitor center afterward. That's always a good sign when you're making sure not a single chip goes to waste. We've been here quite a few times over the years, and one thing that keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, and even on busier days they seem to keep things moving. During this visit the restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were still served promptly and never felt forgotten. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Maison. It feels relaxed without being overly casual and always makes for a nice lunch stop when we're in Lodi. Helpful tip: If the chips come with your meal, don't leave them behind. They're surprisingly addictive and worth taking home if you can't finish them. Between the great food, friendly service, and reliable consistency, Maison continues to be one of our favorite places to stop whenever we're spending the day in Lodi.

Quaint, charming and with top quality product this is well worth a stop. Of course prices are on the high side, but the value is certainly there. There's an array of awesome looking baked goods/pastries, including large loaves of round bread choices for sale. They have a number of other food choices too- sandwiches, salads, etc. Other products including cookbooks by Charlie Palmer are also sold. The room is large, comfortable and the ambiance is rustic country. I got two Butter Croissants and two Jalapeño Cheddar Scones for me and the husband. Both were excellent, delicious, and quite large. The jalapeño is strong so be certain you like it as it is my particular preference. The service was very helpful and efficient. This place is very professional in every regard and well worth a stop.
