But what I like best about this shop is the locally made aloha wear. There are both men's and women's clothes made in Wailuku. The clothes are quality made and very modern in taste. Prices are reasonable. The saleswoman who helped me today was super friendly and helpful! I appreciated her courtesy. I liked this store so much, I went to get my cousin so she could shop here and see all the beautiful clothes. So why the 2 stars out of 5 stars? When I brought my cousin to see the items that I was raving about, another employee behind the counter was talking to another customer. Apparently she was telling him the positives and negatives of living in Maui. That seemed really nice and helpful to him. But the employee started to tell the customer how horrible it is to live in Honolulu and continues to bad mouth the city. Ummmmm.... Both my cousin and I just spent $500+ in your shop and we are both born and raised in Honolulu. We both think Honolulu is a pretty great place to live. Not cool to talk badly about another city - especially if you are 20 years old (she told the guy that) and haven't lived in Honolulu for an extensive time. Unprofessional. I don't think I'll be returning here to shop and I don't think I'll be giving any recommendations to come here either. P.S. my yelp reviews are primarily (90-95%) 5-star reviews because I want to support and encourage businesses in a positive way. This was an exception.

It's a bit more muted but it's a shirt that can be worn outside of Hawaii as well. I picked out a Large and the salesguy did advise us that the shirts do run big. My Sweetie went to the dressing room and tried it on. Woo hoo! A perfect fit! The shirt came out to almost $80 with tax. The staff made the whole process quite effortless and we were quite happy with our purchase. The women's section also had a cute selection of clothing but I didn't purchase anything as I didn't want to have to haul more clothing back home.

My second visit in January 2026 was just as great--I found the same bikini in a different color and was thrilled. Unfortunately, after my purchase I realized the sizes were wrong. I called immediately and was told to come back to exchange for the correct size. On my third visit, Sunday January 11th around 3 PM, there were no sizes available in any of the bikini styles. Since we visit every year, I asked for store credit. I was told, "I'm not sure how to do that, so you'll need to use the full credit." To my shock, I was pressured into picking out random items I didn't need--Sand Cloud towels and a t-shirt--just to use the credit. It was incredibly disappointing to go from top-notch service to what felt like gas-station-level customer service. Sadly, I won't be returning.
