Most of the fabrics were modal blends and linen. The prints were lovely. I tried on and purchased a beautiful purple print swing dress. It is pretty and comfortable. I asked if it is ever possible to have an item you love made in another fabric or if a different size can be made. The answer was yes--they can do the custom orders. The quality, service, and value are all there. Instead of mass-produced fast fashion, you can get locally-made fun clothes right on Maui. I look forward to visiting again and again.

They're so so kind. I was excited to visit the storefront and was not disappointed. There's lots of parking, the store is open and bright. There's a clearance section, but I love that it appears to also house the patterns for the clothes! When I was shopping, I'm pretty sure the owner was also cutting fabric. So cool to see the clothes being made! I tried on a dress, which the owner pointed out was a little shorter than the others. She offered to make another one if I wanted a longer length. Fortunately I have good visual memory and despite the fact that I didn't remember its name, I knew exactly where this store was located. This was confirmed when I saw the name "Baggallini" stenciled on the store window! I walked in with my friend, scanned the shelves, and voila, picked up the only two Baggallini hobo bags there, in grey and black. Jennie, the lovely sales associate encouraged me to try it out, so I placed my current purses' contents inside and modeled the crossbody. I chose the grey with the beautiful pink inner lining! My darling friend opted for the black purse, and then gifted me my grey one! Tip: Always shop with your best friends! It is here that I discovered the designer Joseph Ribkoff from Canada. The shop carries a wide variety of his pieces and I'm always successful finding something. The shop is lovely, with a great inventory of clothing and accessories. It's worth the trip to this little town to shop and have lunch.
