So much to say. My experience with SHCC: met in musty basement of a church. Dismal. But the worst…read morepart was being counseled by someone who only seemed to have one line: "Flip the script." I've been in therapy since my 20's, and have, as such, seen about 5 therapists in the last 35+ years. This particular therapist was inept at searching for the core issues. Pretty much, I ran the sessions. There wasn't much useful input from the therapist. I stayed too long with her. SHCC is one of very few companies that take my insurance. Looking back, and seeing how much time I lost, I should have just bitten the bullet and paid out of pocket for a more experienced counselor.

If you or your family need help during divorce, do not go near this place. They hire inexperienced…read morestaff, who are looking to build a resume and hours. My divorce was a high conflict with established parental alienation divorce. Reunification therapy was ordered for my older two daughters, by the court. The counselors did not know how to deal with the situation or understand the complexity of the situation. They did nothing to help the situation, in fact they made it worse. It took over a full year after my kids stopped meeting with Safe Harbor for me to make any relationship progress. Only after my oldest graduated high school and moved out of the alienating parents home was I able to begin rebuilding a relationship with them. Safe Harbor was neither helpful, professional, nor Christian in their approach. The counselors hired to help the situation scheduled one Zoom call with my children and me in 8 months! They allowed the alienating parent to direct the interactions and conversations prior to therapy and they allowed them to direct the kids away from attempted/scheduled reunification meetings. Advice, FIND ANOTHER COUNSELING SERVICE FOR YOUR FAMILY!!!

A big building with multiple doctor offices within. I think there are a million different offices…read moreto be honest. The highlights are the wonderful Annapolis Professional Pharmacy on the ground floor and an imaging center for MRIs and X-rays. I've used all of these personally. There is a footbridge to the Belcher pavilion too. And from there to the main hospital building, but you will need to exit to the street and walk all the way around (unless you're an employee with a badge). It is really only for staff. Parking is not too bad if you just go to the roof. It is a big garage. Elevators are slow. Use the steps if you can.

My doctor is here. She's a wonderful doctor. However, even when you're the first appointment of the…read moremorning, you are looking at at least a 2 hour wait in the waiting room, and probably another 45 minutes of waiting in the exam room, just to see the doctor for 10 minutes. It's just not worth it if you dont' have at least 3 hours to kill (and there's no cell phone reception in there, so it's not like you can continue your work day) Also, I asked the stand-in doctor (as my real one was out sick one day) if she would sort of explain my new insulin system (I'm diabetic) in terms of alcohol. She refused. She said that alcohol was bad for me, and that she would not help me mitigate that by telling me how to do it. I pointed out that if I was going to do it anyway, as I refuse to not enjoy life, she would be helping me, and that she took an oath to do no harm, and that not telling me was harmful. She stormed out of the office--not what you want in a doctor. Last time I was there, I saw Heather, who was lovely.
