The discs I received had come with deep scratches, rendering them completely unplayable. Selling games in this condition demonstrates either a complete absence of quality control or a disregard for customers altogether. It is one thing to expect minor cosmetic wear on used discs, but it is another to receive items that clearly were never inspected and should never have been sold in the first place. A company dealing in video games has one basic responsibility: to ensure the product functions. Kill Screen Games failed at that most fundamental level. Until they establish real standards for product inspection and customer care, I cannot hand them a good review.

One employee attempted to pass off a repo copy of a game as legit to me, and then to top it all off, they refused to even honor their sticker price! I attempted to buy a copy of a game that had 3 different sticker prices. One for $8.49, another for $10.99 and lastly for $12.99. This is after I came in a month earlier and the game was at $4.99. I went all 3 to the register alongside a stack of other games I'm buying and explain the issue and the cashier refused to honor the price. Neither the lowest of middle, although their were quite a number of copies with the two lower prices. Apparently the price had gone up. 4 times in a month huh? I walked out, and did not purchase any of my other items either. Why ever support such a horrible small business that even give GameStop a run for its money of horrible customer service and pricing? This place really does out price everyone locally, GameStop and eBay! Con artist, who sell repo games and trash at extortion prices! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! This place's game selection for these systems includes the best of the best, along with the rarer and more esoteric titles, and the inventory moves pretty quickly so there's always something new every few weeks. The guy running the place, Adrian, is extremely kind and courteous - he is always willing to answer questions and provide info, but he's never pushing to sell anything and it feels like a no-pressure, comfortable environment for taking your time to browse. Truth be told if you were not looking for this place you would risk missing it as its not on the…read moremain thoroughfare of the Bay Ridge avenue and instead just a few stores up the block. Its a small shop but stockpiled around the place up to the ceiling with gaming systems and previously owned cartridges of an endless list of popular games. There are likely even some unpopular ones that are now cult favorites for some reason. I noticed PS2 and PS3 items, along with Nintendo, XBox and many more. Not only can you find the games but they also have a stockpile of the actual systems and controllers on display so if you broke something you might want to get over there. Price wise I'd have to say that they can be all over the place because they are not your conventional shop with a new stock coming in from a distributor every day. They seem focused on the used games and systems so the inventory varies and fluctuates. There are games that are more rare than some others and some items might be in a little less than perfect condition based on use and that is bound to be the case with places like this. Truth be told, I find its better to deal with a slightly higher figure for something you've been looking for forever rather than risking someone else snagging it up while you opine the decision. While they primarily focus on video games for most gaming systems, they do have a stockpile of Funko Pops, some action figures, and a couple of boxes of old comic books all available for assorted prices. Again its based on the stock and the rarity if anything. I did see a stock of hats and billfolds and those are completely new along with a few cork boards of shiny pins which are also new. If you have a gamer geek in your family they should be brought here because I think they'd find something they need or wanted to have for awhile. I've seen them take trades for store credit but outside of that I am not sure how they deal with the walk ins with piles of games, comics or toys. Recommended.

The store is stocked with pops and toys and things that you can't find in other places. What I love the most is you can look at there stuff and they don't tell you not to touch anything. If they don't have what you looking for they will order it for you and tell you the truth if they can get it or not, they will also tell let you know it may take some time for it to come in and once they get it they let you know I'm on there comic list for the new comics that come out every week so I know I'm going to get my comics I'm happy to support this small business and I recommend it to everyone that's looking for old games and new pops and comics

I enjoy going to game shops with variations of games that span across all generations and not just current gen like Gamestop. I just came in for a few games after trading in a couple of old games and the transaction was pretty smooth. I might come back around here since there are a few other games here that caught my eye.

Their selection is super impressive for all these classic games as it seemed like they had hundreds of games for classic systems. Service (3/5): No one really greeted us or were particularly friendly when we walked in. They gave us no issues though. The store's ambiance could be improved though because it seemed like boxes were just strewn in the back and the decorations weren't particularly enticing. Value (3/5): The retro games here are quite expensive! Some of the Gameboy advanced games are $60 and the machines were especially expensive. For example, the SP was almost $200. I guess it kind of makes sense since they aren't manufactured any more and it's in a premium location.
