He kept asking if the air was cold I had to repeat myself more than once that it was barely cool. His answer to this problem is use ceiling fans and box fan to sleep. For 800.00 for 5 nights the air should be cold at least. It also says there are beach chairs..umbrellas and a wagon for the beach. Everything is so rusted I'd be scared to use it. There is also 1 towel for 2 people. I'm Not sure how this place got 5 stars unless it was family or friends giving the reviews or someone getting paid to write them, because this place isn't a 5 star place to stay. It was prepared quickly so I didn't have a lot of time to look around but the coffee shop seemed like a very cute and intimate place to gather for coffee, tea and conversation. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is that the counter staff person didn't seem all that interested in greeting me and said barely four words to me. Had she been more personable and welcoming, this definitely would have been a 5-star review.

They do not do their job and when Airbnb renters go to the property they have to clean and do repairs themselves. Kruz rentals then lies and says nasty things on their review about the renters to save themselves from looking bad and not doing their job. We paid for a clean and ready property but instead we had to spend time to clean appliances/grills/ floors/ change batteries/ thermostats/front door lock etc. We were also in touch with the actual owner of the property so she knew everything and was so very nice and she must have mentioned to Kruz rentals and she left us a bad review even though we did their job of maintaining the property. Kruz rentals most likely uses peoples airbnbs for their own use and friends because owner is in another state. Terrible unreliable and untrustworthy company! Stay away.

She was very helpful showing us around the house, and pointing us out to where everything was.  We had breakfast and snack items galore to make our perfect customized breakfasts at our convenience. We felt very comfortable immediately. We loved every thing including the decor, how clean it was. Our bed mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and had a very nice Jacuzzi. The living room, dining room, and kitchen had everything we needed and more. This home felt like paradise to us.  Our favorite place in this home was the lanai and pool.  It was just so beautiful beyond words. We loved going for a swim at night. The water was perfect. It was so relaxing, and it was an all-around spa-like feel.  We are definitely planning our next visit to Royal Bed and Breakfast. I would rather keep it a secret just for us, but I would rather not, so everyone can share the happiness and relaxation that we felt. Englewood Beach, Placida, and Boca Grande which are all beautiful beach towns are all about 15-20 minutes away. It's a great location!  We appreciate Liane very much! P.S. Unfortunately I did not sleep a wink here, I am a super light sleeper and unfortunately the room next to ours had a couple of baritone guys that woke up at 4:30 in the morning ughhh...the beds were not the most comfy unfortunately either adding to a bit of my suffering as well. Giving it 4 stars. I unfortunately should have gotten some earplugs after the first night. I felt like they were talking to me since their convo was so close to our headboard. Owners seemed to go above and beyond so probably unfortunately just the loud guests we were next to combined with my light sleeping tendencies!!!

What a charming place!…read more We were traveling from Naples to Orlando, but wanted to visit "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel, so I called a few days before we got there to make a resesrvation at Tarpon Tale Inn. We had a brief misunderstanding about the length of our stay (just one night, but next time much longer), immediately resolved by Joe. A day or so before our visit, we got a detailed text describing the check-in process. The day of our visit, we got another text when the room was ready (about an hour before regular check-in). We were on a NWR drive-through at the time, and made it to Tarpon Tale within a half hour or so. When we got there, Joe met us, helped with our luggage, and then gave us a tour of the facility, directions to the beach, pulled out a beach chair for us, and introduced us to the happy little Tokay Gecko on the fence. He pointed out the ice cream parlor and restaurant across the street, and the coffee and bagel place next door. We got a room with a very nice queen bed, a small but well-provisioned kitchen, and a modern bathroom. We elected to have dinner at Gramma Dot's (at the marina nearby) and ice cream across the street. We slept very well in the quiet of a Sanibel evening, and checked out the next morning for another loop through the National Wildlife Refuge and to continue on our way to Orlando.

But, sadly the roaches are more responsive than the management/staff. After 2 emails and no response. The location is phenomenal but the actual conditions of the "Gardenia Suite" were very poor. The bathroom had signs of mold and mildew, corners of the bathroom were deteriorated due to moisture and soft and plaster was falling. The actual shower had a mix of grout that had broken off and sand from a prior guest. Every morning, I'd be greeted with a roach in the common area/kitchen. I can understand being close to the beach and pests can be an issue but over a short weekend stay, it was about 5-6 roaches that I had to dispose of. Location was amazing but the actual inn was disappointing.

I noticed it but it didn't get to me like it affected him. The food was good, but nothing memorable. There isn't a lot of Gluten Free options. I never hold that against any restaurant just thought I'd mention it for us unfortunate folks that can't have Gluten. If we happened to be in the area we'd probably go back for drinks and apps at the bar but would make a special trip.
