I obtained a new replacement jack, but took one look and realized that soldering in this new jack was beyond my ex Radio Shack capabilities. Not knowing what to expect I called Adam. When we mentioned our concern for the NVR, he said don't worry about it. It has a two-year warranty. They installed three cameras we had purchased for and paid for for. We ask them about the fourth camera and we ran the wire for it and they did install it but they installed a different camera than the ones we had purchased. When we asked about that and said we'd like to have one that match the others he said they can't get them anymore. We asked for a refund them for the fourth camera and then the next day they had a camera to match the others. On a couple occasions when they came to adjust cameras, they came without ladders or tools to do the work. We supplied tools and ladders on several occasions. We had a two-year warranty, but he has stopped returning our calls so we've had to hire another company to get us working.

It was the second attempt to do business with Computer Doctors, the first being a submitted rfp that was never returned. I should have taken from the first experience, but I was really trying to keep the business local and give them another chance. Beyond the initial questions, I planned to make a couple printer purchases (HP m750dn and z3200) that day, but the way he was looking down at me, I decided to take the business elsewhere. From one small business to another, we should be looking out for each other. Together, we can help keep the business from going to just the big box stores and online purveyors.
