They helped at every step, giving us great people to work with to get the countertop and tiles and working with us to get the permits and the dates for the work. Once the work began, everything was smooth. His crew are considerate and professional. They did the work exactly as we planned, and everything looks amazing. The new kitchen space is really beautiful. We have so much more cabinet space than we every did. The counters and backsplash look great, and the new appliances were hooked up with no issue. Everything looks clean and professionally done. Jay had recommended a "T Table" which is an extended counter that gives a lot of extra sitting and work space in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this, as it really adds to the counter space, and makes a great space to eat and hang out. The cabinets hold an amazing amount of weight, clean up really easily, and look fabulous!!! Due to bad walls in our apartment, I was concerned that the cabinetry wasn't anchored in properly. They certainly didn't have to do anything all these years later, given that it was the wall that was the issue, but they sent an installer who completely removed the cabinet, and re-installed just to be sure. Talk about standing behind your product!!!! I can't imagine not wanting to use them. Can't recommend highly enough!

The owner, Richard Lanza thought everything was "great!" According to Lanza the Polyurethane will correct it. And it didn't. Brand new wood floors stripped three (3) times. After the third time the floors now have an orange cast to them as well as a haze. The entire job needs to be ripped out and reinstalled with new wood. Please see attached photos. The damages are not limited to: * repair of holes made in a closet, wall, stairway etc. from equipment * dust equipment was not used. Sawdust was in every nook and cranny throughout my home. Professional cleaners had to be hired. * due to improper installation, the planks separated in two areas. * alarm system/sensor destroyed and had to be replaced * electrical problems...blowing out fuses causing the refrigerator to malfunction. * floors now squeak ..never did before. I have contacted Mr. Lanza the owner at Oaktree with zero response. My only alternative is to take legal action.

Raine was a friend of a friend, and I initially liked her design, so I reached out. She gave me a good price for her services and discounts for products. But things started going downhill very quickly: - I gave her a top limit of what I could spend and her initial budget came back almost double, so we spent a lot of time whittling down the budget - She spoke disparagingly of every choice that I brought to the table, and kept telling me "I'm the professional." - She ordered a chair cover for a chair that I had, and it came in the wrong size. Rather than returning it and getting the right size, she insisted I buy a new chair! - She insisted that I order curtains that I didn't really love, and then when I still didn't like them when I got them, she said that I had to pay the return restocking & reshipping fee. And when I finally had enough and decided to end it, it just got worse: - She only accepted cash and refused to provide receipts or invoices, so when I tried to get back money that I'd already paid her for services not rendered, nothing added up. - After I tried to reach out to her about what she owed me, she stopped responding to calls, emails and texts. It got so bad that I tried to take her to small claims to get back what she owed me, but she moved. A couple times. So the court could never serve her. Well, on to the court of public opinion - be forewarned!

Needless to say, any time I brought a lady back to "Chateau Spaghetti-o", she was none too impressed. I used to think girls were attracted to abs and maybe a winning personality - but it turns out it also helps to not live in a hovel. To that end, my place was in dire need of some decorative CPR, and that's where Raine came in and saved the day. She came over and assessed my apartment: what I had, what I wanted, what I needed, what my budget allowed, what I liked and what I didn't, and then she worked her decorator voodoo: coming up with clever and elegant solutions to transform my pad from a pizza box-littered dungeon to a beautifully simple, modern, super-comfortable living space that I'm now proud not only to come home to, but to show off every chance I get. I can't tell you how nice it's been to come home after a crazy day at work and relax in my born-again pad - and best of all it doesn't look like a generic, paint-by-numbers IKEA catalogue - Raine used her expertise to give my place a unique, personal feel, and it really does look like it should be in a magazine.
