This Converse store is located in the Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets in Wisconsin, just over the Illinois state line. They are a clearance outlet, so most of their shoes are highly discounted. They do have a small selection of current shoes as well. In addition to the markdowns on the shoes, this location almost always offers an additional percent off of their clearance shoes. Today they had 50% off all clearance shoes. So a shoe that originally cost $110 was marked down to $80, and then was reduced to $40 (50% off). I love this location. They always have a lot of inventory in all sizes. Great selection at great prices. What's not to love? Their staff is always super friendly and very helpful. When you sign up at Converse.com, you get additional perks...like 20% off during your birthday month. (So that $40 shoe described above comes down to $32.) In addition, if you complete your survey (on the receipt), you get $10 off your next purchase. (So that $32 shoe can be $22!) You have to check out this place! read more

Oh my gawd.....this place has become my addiction. The selection, the pricing and the employees make this place best in class when it comes to shoes. We have been in what seems like every other week and walk out with 10-15 pairs every single time!! Not just because we love the brand, but because the place is upbeat, the employees are HAPPY and HELPFUL! Not one person "acts" like they don't want to be there which is so rare in retail. The pricing! How can you NOT buy awesome shoes?!? Plus, it is so organized and they are constantly filling the gaps when shoes are removed/purchased. We spotted the Premium Mall on our way home from Lake Geneva. We got off on the next exit and turn around. The Converse Outlet store was our first stop. The line was long but we were determined to get inside to shop. We did wait awhile before we finally were inside. The prices were good for the money. I was just a bit disappointed of the selections for a women's size 9. Not many selections to choose from like the other sizes. I wear a common shoe size so I was out of luck. But, my cousin was able to find some really good deals. She walked out with 3 bags of clothing and shoes all for a little bit over a hundred bucks. Customer service was even better through the long lines of people coming in and out. read more

If you want a true outlet, with all shoes no one wanted to pay for in the retail store, this place is for you.

This place is a hit or miss I'm not a huge fan of converse and this store in general has a weird layout sizing is all over the place one size will be on one side of the store and the next will be on the other. And if you like a particular shoe have fun searching for it in your size because you will be there all day if they even have it. I won't write this store off I just wish they had better organizing. read more

Update, update! We put this store to the ultimate test on a beyond crazy Memorial Day weekend sale, and I can honestly say this place has their act together and I'll be back for more shoes - you bet! On the way back from Lake Geneva we stopped here to pick up Nike shoes and Converse sneaks for the boys. Not realizing there were big sales taking place and people everywhere, we still mustered up the courage to find a spot to park and head in...oh how we hate crowds, especially with kids in tow. But, I'm so impressed with how well we were taken care of from the minute we walked into the store until our purchase of two pairs of shoes and laces for around $44! Here's why you want to shop here: Whether it's a quiet night or a busy weekend, they are well staffed and have an amazing team ready to find the shoe you're looking for. Though people were picking through all the styles, stepping in front of each other with and without strollers, we had someone who helped us from start to finish find my kiddos' sizes, the styles they wanted (which required many trips to the back room), and even helped fit them properly - like we were the only ones in the store. The customer service here is supreme! Great Variety You'll find styles here you won't find elsewhere. My hubby found a style he wants to come back for, and I went online and couldn't find it anywhere. Note: One of the guys helping us was wearing Joker high tops with "hahahahaha" laces. Q: If a store opens up for business and doesn't let anyone inside, is it truly open? A: I guess I'm still trying to figure out the answer to that one. Here's what happened: I arrived at The Converse Outlet Store about 1 p.m. today. Instead of examining what the store had for sale, I found a locked door and a sign appearing to read something along the lines of "0 person policy.... sorry." The 16-year-olds to my left didn't let me in on what was going on. Neither did their contemporary working behind the door. Finally, a woman walking behind me asked, "Are they only letting one person in at a time?" That had to be what was going on. There had to be a good reason store management instituted this policy on a day where shoppers were plentiful and parking spots few at Prime Outlets - Pleasant Prairie. Maybe it was to cut down on shrinkage of the consumer good kind. Maybe a celebrity asked to shop in a crowd of their own choosing. But each scenario is still a bit implausible; why would a store try and prevent shoplifting by limiting patronage? Furthermore, why would a celebrity choose an outlet store in southeastern Wisconsin to buy shoes without incident? I won't stick around to find out the answer to either question. read more

This store is at the outlet malls near the 94 exit in Kenosha. It has a much larger selection of Converse than its counterpart in Aurora. On top of that the staff is friendlier than Aurora and the tax is only 5.5%. I got 10 pairs of Converse, plus laces and a few tees for just over $200. This is certainly worth the drive, and if you love Chuck Taylors like I do (99 pairs and counting), this is a must stop. read more
