A few weeks back we googled their address and wound up at their new drive-thru location also in Lakewood accidentally. We went through the very busy drive-tru ordered an everything bagel w/ veggie cream cheese and a lox salmon sandwich w veggies. Then when I got up to the window to pay I noticed a few trays of donuts. I asked the guy if he could add two donuts only to have him reply "we're really busy man", I said "ok forget it then!" How hard is it to add two donuts? Anyway he grabs a random two, boxes them and charges me $4 additional. I said "you didn't ask which I wanted", he said "I gave u the best two". They sucked. They were hard and lacked flavor. 1 was cream filled the other just a chocolate glazed. I liked the texture but that was it. The sandwiches were very small and lacked flavor. Cream cheese was very watery. I asked that my lox sandwich have all the veggies offered. I got pickles and tomatoes. Weird. Anyway yesterday we wound up at this location that we've been wanting to try from the beginning. Upon walking in it was impressive. Lots of pastries and donuts showcased. A big bar in the front with all different types of tuna salads, cream cheeses and veggies. Very appealing to the eyes. I noticed the small bagels again in the baskets, no surprise. But we went for it again. I ordered a lox sandwich with tomato, onion, capers and cream cheese. Wife everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. Again the bagels are no bigger than the palm of your hand, cream cheese is very loose, salmon was a sufficient amount without much flavor and as I waited for our order a cockroach walked along the counter in front of me which the owner/ manager quickly smashed with his hand. This is not uncommon in the food industry so I wasn't too upset although I did consider leaving. In summary, the drive-tru location was still under construction. This location was easy in the eyes and had a nice set-up. Bagels are not the big, chunky NYC bagels many of us are used to. They're no bigger than the palm of your hand. Cream cheese is weird. Prices are fair. I won't be returning.

I absolutely love this grocery store, it's clean, fresh smelling and the produce section has…read moreeverything I need to keep my family healthy. Every person that works here has been nothing but nice, helpful and great customer service. I found Aisle 9- through word of mouth from some ladies I know where I work. I had been complaining that the fruit I was getting at a local market was really subpar. They insisted I give Aisle 9 a try and went on and raved about it- they do their weekly shopping here because it is very close to where they live, I asked about the produce and if they had a bakery, and they they said they cakes and pastries were really good, so more about the bakery later. They have a deli that really is amazing with ready meals, they have some of the best stuffed cabbage rolls from a deli, that I have ever had in my life! and I have eaten a lot of cabbage rolls in my life. They also have a paper products, party section, and I bought the most beautiful plastic wine glasses for a picnic, that I was taking my Hubby to for our Anniversary. So I I started shopping here back in December, the produce is fantastic and they have fresh figs, not that dried figs are not good, they are, but fresh is always better. I really like the fresh fruit cups for lunch time, they are the perfect size. During the summer months fresh cut fruit trays are a must and they have plenty of variety here, but in winter months when fruit is more expensive and hard to get, they have beautiful displays and reasonable pricing, which in these hard time, that speaks volumes to a budget. So let's talk bakery.. they have some of the most beautiful specialty cakes, they are little bit pricey, but for the quality and taste, I cannot complain nothing is wasted my family loves them. I really like the Challah bread here, I often buy mine closer to home, Rte 9, but I tend to get there late sometimes and miss out. Deli section has the usual cold cuts I think again quality reigns supreme. I just look at the weekly update online and gage my menu for the week. They have the usual pickles and olives and my MINI-ME is all about pickles, it would a horrific day, if she went to the fridge and couldn't find her favorite pickles, so there is that. They also have sushi, but I have not tried as of yet. Keep in mind, the store does get very busy and keep hours- so choose your shopping time wisely: Sunday 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM Tuesday 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM Wednesday 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM Thursday 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM Friday 7:00 AM - 1 hour before Shabbos Saturday 30 minutes after zman - 12:00 AM

Knowing they were closed till 1:00 PM for Tish a Bav I don't know why he scheduled me for Sunday morning. When I call at 1 when the store opened, I asked him why he scheduled me at 10 AM for the interview and he hangs up on me. When I call back he says turns out we don't need anyone for that position and hangs up again. Unprofessional my interview never happened. Piece of garbage.
