4 huge cookies 20 bucks is a bit steep...I'm expecting these cookies to be so good I'll be eating them like the Cookie Monster. But unfortunately that didn't happen except for one cookie flavor I loved. I got a chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal and caramel butter toffee. I smelled each bag before I tasted. Peanut butter was the first one it smells like peanut butter, but the taste was off. For me is tasted like it was made with powder flavor peanut butter instead with real peanut butter (sad face) Chocolate chip didn't smell at all, the taste was a bit bland, browning the butter would bring out the flavor ( sad face). Oatmeal I could only smell cinnamon, and it completely tasted like cinnamon, way too much cinnamon that it took away from the major star the oatmeal ( sad face). Last but definitely not least the caramel butter toffee. Omg this one right here let me tell you. Smell test... it smelled like the name, drumroll plz. This cookie had the perfect flavor for the name. I can taste all the flavors perfectly and equally balanced. If I would have known what I know now I would have bought 4 of these. ( excited happy faces). Overall I believe these cookies are made from the same base then added flavors accordingly. If I was going to try this place again, I would just try the creative flavors, the traditional flavors were a miss. read more

My first experience with one of The Cookie Jar's delicious, giant cookies was at a friend of mine's birthday party. We were having lunch next door at B's Chicken and Waffles and she mentioned that's where her birthday party cookies came from. We HAD to stop by and get some more. The store is such an adorable setup. It makes you wanna just stay in there and hang out with friends and have a tea party or wish it were big enough to have an event in! Or maybe that was just me. The best cookies and customer service ever! I've stopped in on many occasions to pick up cookies and after a long and stressful week I had a craving for one of their amazing cookies. I didn't bother to check their hours as it's on my route home. I stopped by this afternoon and happened to walk up to the doors at the exact time that the owner was unloading her car. She politely pointed out that they were closed, but she didn't leave it at that, she invited me in the shop to see what they had on hand. Wednesdays are their reset days so she wasn't too sure what they had on hand. I thought that was the nicest gesture ever and I was able to get the cookies that I had been craving. Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar! Who me!? Couldn't be! Then who?! Well I'm not going to admit it but I'll definitely admit these homemade circular morsels are on point with flavor! I stated off with the pistachio toffee and I just enjoyed how this cookie had bits of pistachios baked inside and that toffee aftertaste chasing it. Next was a level up with their caramel butter toffee. Now this here circle of flavors had my sweet tooth in check with satisfaction and I already knew the next one was going to hit. It's been about a year since my last visit to The Cookie Jar, but the impact made from that first visit was memorable. My husband and I were planning a housewarming in the area and immediately thought of The Cookie Jar to be a part of our dessert spread as we wanted to share amazing, local businesses with our family and friends coming from near and far to this area of the Inland Empire. The process for ordering the cookies was stress free and straightforward. The owner, Andrea, was patient and helpful every step of the way. She even created a custom label for the event and put them on all of the cookies we ordered. To say our guests loved the cookies is an understatement. They were the first items to clear out at the party. People were sharing cookies to try all of the different flavors and I know several of the out of town guests were already looking at how to have cookies shipped! The cookie that took me by surprise was her oatmeal raisin.....my goodness that cookie was so good! Her semi sweet chocolate chip was baked to perfection and the brookie was my fave! You will find here a few businesses including a kids bounce house, filipino restaurant, dry cleaners and smoke shop. I was greeted by the owner and her young daughters. They were attentive, warm and friendly and patiently helped me as I tried to make my selection. I have never been to any cookie specialty store with such a variety of cookies and flavors you would never expect. They had your traditional chocolate chip, peanut butter, and sugar cookies but then there were some pretty unique combinations too. I chose: apple with toffee- a scrumptious blend of apple, toffee and hint of maybe walnut; Sweet potato- which tasted like a Thanksgiving sweet potato pie; and finally the pumpkin white chocolate- simply delectable! The flavors complimented each other and you could taste each layer of ingredients making these cookies a very special treat. The cookies were large enough to share (which I did with my hubby) and very moist. If you are looking for a delicious and unique treat- The Cookie Jar is a must to visit! went to the cookie jar 1 week ago for a order of cookies the girl was very snippy with a attitude she said she can not make my order because if they run out of the cookies that i want she will put anything in to fill the order if i am placing a order you should be able to fill the orders so i take it that they don't really take orders because if they did they would be able to fill the order because when the baker takes out the tray of cookies you would fill my order that was placed then put the rest of the cookies out i just find it crazy that they dont know what they are doing maybe if you hired someone that knows what they are doing than sales would be better sorry to say you lost another customer i would never go back there are to many places around to get great cookies with people that work for them that know what they are doing so keep your cookies and enjoy them and i hope other people see the same as i did i would not recommend them to a dog not the way they treat you..... read more
