    Grilled Cheese
    Saul S.

If you like soup & bread, Teton Sourdough Co is the place to go. I got the soup with gnocchi in it, but I can actually remember the full name. It was amazing though. It was super creamy, and the gnocchi was super soft. The flavor was very rich as well. As for the bread, some of the best sourdough bread I've had. It has that classic sourdough taste, and you can tell it's freshly made. At first I thought the bread bowl was a little bit of a gimmick, as I thought it would just mush the bowl and make the bread kind of gross, but boy was I wrong. The soup flavored the bread so nicely in the end, and was super delicious after I had finished all my soup. The grilled cheese was a little disappointing though. I asked an employee about which cheeses they used, and she said she thinks it's cheddar and havarti, but wasn't sure. The cheese was nothing special though, and had already started to solidify by the time I started to eat it. The inside is very nice and calm with lots of seating, and I like how sunny it is. Overall I'd give the place 5/5 stars, with the grilled cheese just being a little disappointing. If you eat the grilled cheese immediately, it will probably be a lot better, but if you wait even ten minutes, it won't be the best.

Loaded potato soup, grilled cheese, and complimentary slice of sourdough bread

Absolutely delicious. Everything baked is made from sourdough and I have yet to have something I didn't like. I'm very picky about soup but the loaded baked potato was to die for! The interior design is super cute and chic and the customer service was wonderful. Honestly this may be my new favorite lunch place. 10/10 recommend.

Loaded Baked Potato Soup in a bread bowl

The owners of Teton Sourdough and their staff are friendly, helpful and positive. They have put tons of work into the building and it is beautiful! On top of that the soups and breads are wonderful! Personally my favorite soups are the Jalapeño Popper, the Hearty Chili, and the minestrone. I am a regular and always get asked if the Jalapeño Popper is spicy- it really isn't but provides a nice warm kick. It pairs nicely with a bread bowl, one of their delicious grilled cheese sandwiches or the Jalapeño Cheddar sourdough. My husband and son live for their Loaded Baked Potato soup. Plus, don't forget dessert- I recommend the cowboy cookies or the cranberry white chocolate cookies.

It makes me wonder if the other customers went to the same Denny's I did or if they're all being hyperbolic or bombastic or expecting way too much for a diner or a Denny's (makes me also wonder why people who dislike Denny's are going there then reviewing they hated their visit *rolling my eyes here*). My first visit was a few days after it opened at 6:00 PM (dinnertime). It was crowded and there was a long wait, but both of those things were expected: almost every new restaurant has this happen: we don't get a lot of variety in restaurants (not like Idaho Falls), so everyone wants to go when it first opens. I was with a group of 11 people. We were served as quickly as one can be when it's that busy. The food was hot and tasted great. The staff was frazzled and made mistakes, but again, that's expected. My next visit was about a month or two later at 8:30 PM. I'd had a long day and didn't feel like eating the warmed-over meal at home, so I told my family I was going out. Since I was a single guest, I was invited to sit at the counter. I love the idea of the electric plugs at each of the seats: online homework late at night while eating pancakes = genius! There was the typical wait time (about 15 minutes--I had a nice time people-watching in the meantime). I ordered the brisket sandwich and asked for a side salad since it was advertised as 2.99 with an entree. The salad was crisp and the ranch dressing was tasty. The brisket sandwich was a little lopsided so I had to eat it in pieces, but it was delish! I was overcharged for the salad, but the manager just took it off the ticket. Nice. My third visit was at the end of July 2023. It was during their Baconalia event. I was in the mood for pancakes for dinner (this time at 5 PM--I was expecting a rush but they handled me and all the other customers beautifully), so I was pleasantly surprised to find out I could have "Bacon Pancakes" just like Jake from Adventure Time. The addition of bacon bits and two slices of Hormel bacon in the pancakes gave it a smokey taste that is easily complemented by the maple syrup and skips a step for me (I often take a bite of bacon and then immediately follow it with a pancake). My food arrived quickly, hot, and tasted good. My fourth visit was on 08/14/23 at 8:30 AM (breakfast). During this visit, I was taking my 2 nieces and my nephew to breakfast before I took them home after a visit with grandma before school. Other reviewers must be using stopwatches or no watches at all because they all seem to say they waited an hour to be seated. We were seated faster than I've ever been seated in a Denny's (including my two previous visits). When the server arrived, I requested that she take the order from each of us since my nieces and nephew needed to practice ordering for themselves (they are tweens and a teen, so they needed this experience sooner rather than later). We had come during Denny's Baconaila event, so each of us ordered from the special menu. I ordered the Premium Bacon Loaded Pancakes like I did last time, my tween niece and nephew ordered the Triple Bacon Sampler, and my teenage niece ordered the Sweet and Smoky BLT&E (a BLT that comes topped with eggs, bacon jam, and the Hormel Black Label Premium Cherrywood Bacon). While we waited, we watched as 5 other parties arrived and were almost immediately seated (again, I'm confused why other reviewers are saying they're waiting an hour...I've never had nor seen that happen). The only person not seated turned out to be waiting to pick up his meal. The pancakes arrived in about 15 minutes as a sort of appetizer/first course and the rest of the food arrived before we could even get two bites done. We enjoyed our meal and conversation. My teenage niece tried a bite of my pancake and immediately wanted to order a stack for herself ("So yummy!"), but I knew she'd get too full. Luckily, my tween niece offered to share half of her pancakes instead. Whoever put together the hamburger forgot the bacon jam, but I decided to use this as an opportunity for my niece to learn how to politely and properly tell the server (she was nervous and didn't want to bother her, but I stressed to her that servers/restaurants want to correct any errors they make because they want their guests to have the best possible experience). I worried that this special menu would go the way of the spicy Moons over My Hammy (loved it btw), so I ordered a What's Shakin' Bacon Milk Shake which we all split. This wasn't as mind-blowing as I thought it would be (it was exactly what it says it is: vanilla ice cream, bacon crumbs, and maple syrup), but it was still tasty. We left at 9:30 AM (they were slow-eaters), full, happy, and singing the "Bacon Pancakes" song once we got in the car. It was a fun, before-school-starts experience, and they want to do it again.

I always want to give Denny's the benefit of the doubt cause it's Denny's…read more I don't know if it was casual Thursday or something, but all the staff looked like they didn't work there. I ordered a salad and I know what you're thinking, who orders a salad at Denny's. But most of the lettuce was brown and my cucumbers soggy. We ordered the Oreo brownie for dessert and it tasted like a protein brownie. Not a compliment. But what am I gonna do, eat at Applebee's? Yeah right. Oh and the sign is spelt wrong.

There normally isn't a line, and if there is, the service is pretty quick. All of the food is good and authentic. They do use more potatoes/fries than normal - but hey! It's Idaho! My favorite thing to get is the Carne Asada fries. Base layer of fries, slices of Carne Asada, sour cream, onions & tomatoes. It is a popular rexburg favorite. I love heat so I add hot sauce when I get home. I'll also throw in a Horchata and a few churros ($1 each). My biggest observations are; 1. The Carne Asada was a bit fatty this last time I went. My husband didn't think it was a problem, so maybe it was just me. 7/10 2. The Horchata was just watered down for my taste. Still tasted amazing! I give it 8/10. 3. CHURROS ARE PERFECT! 10/10 Overall, short a star- it wasn't perfect, but still a favorite, we will be going back soon.

We were here on a Monday during a busy lunch rush. Normally, I am understanding of this if the food and service were good, but this was not the case! The service was also awful. The woman working at the counter was so snarky. I asked how big the tacos were to determine if I needed order 2 or 3. She wasn't friendly at all! I get it, there was a line behind me, but I didn't need the attitude. The cherry on top was how the tacos took 20+ minutes to come out and they were cold and unseasoned. Unfortunately, the steak tacos were mid at best, and pretty pricey ($3+ per taco). Several tables had their orders missed or forgotten as well.
