The parking lot was full and these customers are serious about their sweets! I bought 4 different kinds of cookies ( peanut butter..chocolate chip..and more). The cookie tree is very special in so many ways. Perhaps the best way that I know it is special is the fact that they make their cookies the way my uncles used to make them when they were still with us. I love the variety of the selection that they have and how different each cookie tastes. I've always had wonderful experiences here with service and I'm never surprised that this place is constantly busy. I have not had the chance to dine in at the cookie tree but there are spaces that you can do that. I also appreciate how they have different pieces of merchandise that you can take for yourself or as gifts for others. The parking can be a little tight at times but it's a small price to pay for a treat as amazing as the cookie tree. Anytime I am craving something sweet, this is always my go to place and I think it will be yours as well when you give it a try. read more

When my husband is in town for work he always stops by to pick up our favorites. This last time we were on our way to visit family in Chico. I was able to go in this time. So many yummy treats to pick from. Smells so yummy inside! I couldn't think about what I wanted. So many options. My husband was getting worried since it was starting to get busy..they have an odd small parking lot. I just ended up picking one of my favorites. Chocolate crinkle cookies. Once we were leaving we noticed a car parked right behind us. Can't remember if it was an actual parking spot. But it was hard for us to back out, every car so tight in that parking lot. read more

Hands down, these cookies can't be topped by any bakery. I will admit that the cookie case was always our "go to" but we have switched to the bakery case 80% of our visits. The "Ooey Gooey" bars are incredible! The frosted brownies are so different than any brownie I have ever tasted. Frosted pumpkin bars, lemon bars, apple bars etc. The menu changes daily but lots of regular items offered daily. This bakery should be rated as #1 in California. My most important tip is this: Go early! Even though they are open from 7 am -7pm M-F like all highly rated bakeries, they sell out or "almost" sell out in the afternoon. Both times I waited until 5 pm, they only had a few varieties of cookies left, zero cupcakes, brownies or cookie bars or cheesecake. It's because they ARE that good! read more

The cookie tree has been a staple in our community. They have a great selection of cookies and pastries. They are known for their crackle and sugar cookies and many other favorites to choose from. My coworker has brought in cookies from this gem of a store a few times for work events and now they haunt my soul. I have yet to find a local place that can fairly compete with these life changing cookies. Cookie Tree makes the BEST cheesecake!! I've tried so many different flavors and they are all so good. So far my favorite is the lemon. They make a different flavor of cheesecake every day so I call in the morning to see what the flavor for the day is. If you like snickerdoodle cookies, this is the go to place. Visited this store and went back about 20 minutes later to ask for a receipt reprint because the cookies were bought for an event, on a company card. The person who stepped in to help was visibly annoyed and yelled (actually yelled) loudly for staff to remember to ask customers if they want their receipts. She let me know that their register isn't capable of recalling receipts and she would do it this one time. She handed me the receipt I said "Thanks" she says "YUP". As I was walking out she went back to helping the customer she was helping prior to and said "Sorry, I'm so sorry that was so rude, I'm sorry."?In 2025 asking for a receipt reprint should not be that difficult or warrant that response. I used to be a frequent customer. Never will go and support this business. I went and wanted something and was told I couldn't have a certain brownie. I have never had someone from the store say you can't have that. So unstead of helping with the item I wanted to pay for, I ended up just leaving all together, and I will never support this company ever again. Great spot for baked goods. Been here many times before and it's about time to write a review. They have daily specials so check ahead of your visit if there's something you might like. If you're unable to check the specials ahead of time there might be a sign out front with them listed. I'd recommend their peanut butter and oatmeal cookies. Plenty of parking, but keep in mind they do get busy so if there's a line you could have a little bit of a wait. It will be worth it though. read more

If I would have a few more Stars to add I would everything is made fresh Daily A Great variety of cookies and other goodies, morsels fudge brownies, cinnamon buns, cupcakes, just a real delectable delights and the price is really good and you can eat there as well have coffee you know different types of mocha's shakes and different things very enjoyable, the staff and people there are very friendly and helpful especially Julie and Maria to names a few!! Definitely my favorite place in the area to get cookies or cheesecake. The sugar cookies are hands down the best but they only make them on certain days. So then I settle for my next favorite.... Which is a toss up between the walnut chocolate chip and the snickerdoodle's. I like to get a couple of each, plus whatever else looks good that day. First time going here, lovely customer service experience. I tried their vanilla cupcake--YUMM! So soft and fluffy cake, icing wasn't too sweet.. just perfect for my taste, in my opinion! Went to the Cookie Tree with my family & had my tiny teacup Chihuahua, with us which was in a slingshot carrier that goes over my shoulder, after I ordered my food and coffee to go, the owner/manager said "does the dog serve a purpose?"I said no and she said "you need to leave immediately". I love their cookies. My go-to are the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip. So I was excited to come across a day old bag of them for $12.65. Imagine my disappointment when I got home to see there were only 9 cookies in the bag and two of them were Oatmeal Raisin. I called the shop to only to be told "it happens". I ordered custom cookies a week ago for my daughters graduation and drove all the way from Roseville to come pick them up. The order has been taken, but was apparently not pulled and never made. Quality has gone downhill. Cookies are dry and hardly sweet. You're better off just making the Pillsbury ones at home. They are also almost always out of cookies. If you don't hit them up the very first thing in the morning the selection is slim. Service is hit and miss. I come here every time I visit. It's a locally owned store that's been open for a while. Initially they just sold cookies but now they're in a bigger space they sell other sweets too. I'm so hooked on the cookies it's all I get. If you were to compare it to a chain I'd say it's like Cookie Connection but better. My favorite is the snickerdoodle but people lose it over the crackle, which is a chocolate cookie with powdered sugar. I'll probably get one next time to see if I like it, my taste has changed. This location has a decent sized parking lot and the service is pretty quick too. There's a ton of cookies to choose from, and they typically have holiday sugar cookies depending on the time of year and holiday that's coming up. As I mentioned I haven't really tried the sweets but there's a ton of cheesecakes, cupcakes, brownies and bars to try, and they all look really good. They now serve coffee drinks too. The thing I really like is if you get there early enough you can get day old cookies and baked goods for a cheaper price. Sometimes it's only one kind of cookie and sometimes they're mixed bags. Ordered a large cookie cake 14 inch. For my friends birthday ! The ordering process was super easy, specially since I was ordering from a totally different city. They give you tons of cookie options to make the cake with and give you different options. I feel like I called and called and annoyed the crap out of the girls but we got through it and their customer service was fantastic!! And the cookie cake was delivered on time!! Idk how it tasted. I should start this off by saying that I have actually never been to The Cookie Tree ... but before you stop reading, hear me out. I have never physically been to the store location but a good friend of mine lives in Yuba and for my recent birthday, she bought me a dozen cookies from The Cookie Tree. This wasn't my first experience with the delectable treats from The Cookie Tree; while living in Boston with said Yuba friend, her mother would send us cookies to help ease our homesickness. And even after traveling thousands of miles to get to us, those cookies were always just a delicious as if we had bought them ourselves. My most recent tasting of The Cookie Tree cookies for my birthday was no different: the box of cookies was fresh and absolutely delicious. My friend got me a wonderful mix of different types of cookies but my favorites by far were the simple, frost sugar cookies. A close second favorite are the chocolate crackle - they remind me of the cookies my Mom makes. All I can say is these are mighty fine cookies and I look forward to the day I can actually visit The Cookie Tree in person. read more

My go to spot in YC to satisfy my sweet tooth. I've been eating cookie tree cookies for years. They're consistently tasty, reasonable pricing and a good variety. Be sure to check their cookie menu online, they have rotating flavors everyday! My personal favorite is their snickerdoodle, a soft well balanced flavor of cinnamon and sugar.
