Cool concept if you're into that, but it's definitely a different vibe than choosing a track from a catalog and singing along. From what I gathered, the band was friendly and offered an alternative when they didn't know the song my mom wanted to sing, but she opted out and left shortly after. No big deal. The place looked decent from the outside, kind of like the kind of pub you'd slip into for a pint and some low-key tunes. Later, I mentioned the experience during a karaoke chat somewhere else, and people who had been to Queen Victoria Pub spoke well of the jammy-oke setup. So, while it wasn't the right fit for my mom that night, others seem to enjoy it. Probably worth checking out if you're open to a more live-jam kind of karaoke scene.

I kind of wished more restaurants/ pubs vented their boxes so the fries did not get too soggy. I did find my order came with a generous portion of tartar sauce but they served white vinegar not malt. They did not apologize to us or admit that they had done anything wrong, even though we showed them the call logs. All they did was walk up to us every 5 minutes (while serving many other people) and tell us that everything was under control. It wasn't. We ended up watching the game from home. I write this review in hopes that somebody sees it and decides not to give this place business, as this is the only form of payback I can hope to get against this place for ruining our anniversary plans.
