It was a glorious day in the neighborhood when The Corner Cup opened its doors! We have a lot of walkers (not the Walking Dead kind) in our neighborhood but we've never had a good place we could walk for coffee. Now we do and I think I can speak for everyone when I say we are delighted! The coffee is delicious as well as the other beverages they offer. There are hot and cold options so they should always have something that catches your fancy. They also offer a variety of baked goods from Southern Sweets. You should definitely try the apple turnover but you may want to share because it is a massive pastry. The owners, Patrick, Rich, and Tess, are wonderful people. They always make us feel welcome and we leave with a smile every time. My one year old loves them, too, and that means a lot. I also appreciate their musical taste and usually end up tapping my foot and singing along if I stay long enough. I love everything about this place and I am so happy to have them here. Best Coconut Milk Latte I've found to date in Atlanta! They don't always have coconut milk so call first, but it's AMAZING when they do!!! This place is fantastic! The service is very positive and engaging, the prices are cheaper than a typical coffeeshop, they are fair-trade (their ingredients are ethically sourced), and serve savory snacks and bakery items with their coffee! Very simple, but cute set-up inside as well. read more

I tried this place on a whim. It's easier to get to the shop if you take the light off the main road as it sits behind the citgo gas station. There is a moderate amount of seating inside and some seating on the outside on the far end. The decor is cute and clean with a small bookshelf for an afternoon perusal and a small amount of pastries and cold drinks. They sell some of their coffee beans so if you can't get enough, always good to take them home. Since it's the hot time of the year I mostly order cold coffees and the few that I've tried were exceptional. The cream cheese filled Danish are a definite weakness for me since I will devour them. Great selection of coffees and drink combos and not too pricey. The staff are always friendly and attentive. They answered all my questions and offered great suggestions. I am so glad they are in the neighborhood now. I go past this area often to visit family and it is a nice spot to bring my family out for coffee. The free wifi is a bonus and I do bring my laptop often to get my catch up work done. I love that they are local and offering their services. A great find! read more

I am so stoked to have a local coffee shop in this location! I was eating at the fabulous Pea Ridge Kitchen for brunch and noticed someone had a delicious looking cold coffee drink. They told me they got it from the same shopping center, so after ordering breakfast I went over and got a caramel frapp with two shots of espresso. The people were so freakin' friendly, and the drink was REALLY good. I've been craving one ever since, but considering I have 4 different methods for making iced coffee drinks at home I'm trying to refrain. Please, please go visit if you're nearby! This place is great! They offer plenty of parking and seating inside and outside. I purchased an iced caramel macchiato and a curry chicken pastry. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. The pastry was very large and fresh tasting. They had plenty of sweet pastries that looked delicious as well. I got my order to go and it was easy to get in and out pretty quickly. Amazing service--always friendly baristas that seem to really get to know their regulars. Excellent value overall. Ambiance--pretty relaxed during the week, can get busy on weekends now. Seating available inside and outside. Pleasant background music. Family friendly. Drinks and food: for the most part, great. So far here's what I can rate: --Espresso coffee beans--excellent, really great value. --Drip coffees--excellent, nice variety. --Lattees--excellent (FYI--on the coffee to milk ratio, lattees are on the milkier side) --Blueberry muffin--killer. Definitely recommend. --Lemon poppyseed muffin--ok. --Herb scone--really a let-down. Dry and overly crumbly with little flavor. --They also started carrying Sublime doughnuts, which are unbelievably delicious. Bottom line, except for a couple of pastry duds, this place is a really wonderful local coffee shop with superb service, reasonable prices, and great coffee. read more

This place is the BOMB! I have not experienced customer service as great as what the Corner Cup delivers. There's one employee who's not as smiley, but I always get such a good vibe from the place. I've always been a coffee snob, strictly going to Starbucks, but I haven't been in so long because Corner Cup's coffee is on point. Typically I get a cold brew with caramel (which I do not use creamer in... that says a LOT about the quality of the coffee.) Sometimes I'll get the matchai piccu, which is an espresso with matcha and chai. SO GOOD. In addition to all of that, they have a rewards system! 10 purchases equals one free drink! read more

I LOVE the Corner Cup! I have always judged a coffee shop by its iced coffee, and there aren't many out there that I enjoy. Until the Corner Cup opened, Aurora Coffee was the bar, all other coffee shops were measured by, but now... I have a new coffee shop. It is super exciting that it is so close to my home. I will start by saying that I drink coffee daily. With that said I tried a new to me place today which I wish I had not. I got my usual cafe mocha. I normally like to let my coffee sit for a minute to make sure it is just right. This time the cup felt hot so I waited 5 minutes which should have been more than enough time. I finally decided to take a small sip of the coffee I had been craving this morning and it was like swallowing molten lava. It hurt so bad I almost spewed it onto my boyfriend sitting across from me. This ruined everything. It felt like my taste buds melted off. It left a horrible after taste of whatever taste I had left. An hour later my tongue is still in excruciating pain. I ended up throwing my whole cup away shy of one horrible taste. Either these people are clueless on coffee or the staff is careless or they just do not care. Either way do not waste your time. I'm hoping this burn wears off or I'll have to go to dr to see what damage their horrible coffee did to my tongue. Only reason I gave two stars is they brought my coffee to table. But now that I think of it they should have noticed they poured too hot boiling scalding fluid into my cup. Actually I'm taking away one more star now that I think about it because they should have noticed how hot it was. This was the worst coffee experience I have ever had. read more

Love this little place. The staff is very friendly and seems to want to be your morning pitstop and know you and your dog by name. It's a little small, so bring something for the kids to do in their seats or get them one of the giant cookies. The cappuccino is always good. read more

This is my FAVORITE place in Decatur. Great coffee, snacks and atmosphere. The owner and employees are the nicest people ever! Great place for breakfast, lunch, meeting friends for coffee, and they're open till 8pm on weekdays now!
