Fiest time checking this flower kiosk and left not very impressed. Was going to buy myself a bouquet and all I could see was a not very nice combination for $50 so I passed. I was expecting tos see lots of bouquets already made and ready to buy. Instead it was all about build your own thing with various flowers in buckets. If I could give zero stars I would! What a horrible experience! So disappointed and uneeded stress and disappointment. I was getting married and ordered and paid for a Wedding boutique / boot and a mini boutique for my daughter ! I had reached out to a few other florists. I had wanted fall theme orange and white roses. The owner told me I needed to book fast bc she had to order the flowers. That was not true, no flowers were ordered. I had texted the owner a few days after paid with inquiries with no response. I also asked if we could add to the order with no response. I also tried to reconfirm the time and date of pick up with no response. I had my wedding planner call the day before to arrange the time to pick up my flowers and the time that I wanted and that we had confirmed on was not a choice. She wanted it pushed back to a later time.. they agreed on a new time. On the day of the actual wedding and 30 min early for my new pick up time for my original order, we went down to the flower station. the employee did not even have me down on.the schedule to do the flowers!!! I showed him my invoice and one of the texts. He said to give him 45 min no I needed them done. :o no 30 min is all I had. He whipped something together and said it will do..... it was not my orange and white roses, obviously nothing was ordered...the stems of the flowers were not trimmed and dripping water. I had no other choice but to take them bc I needed flowers. They looked like I went to vons and did it myself. The ribbon was small and ripped. We are so disappointed, I will never use her again and I am local and will get the word out so nobody big day is ruined like mine. After interviewing and reviewing 3 bids in southern California for my daughter's wedding at the Del in July, I decided to go with a local florist and use "The Flower Lady" . I love the stand and the variety of flowers are beautiful and fresh. I have bought flowers in the past and made my own arrangements so I was convinced this was the way to go for my daughter's wedding. I provided the vases. The vision was simple but beautiful. Blue and white hydrangeas, white heirloom roses and white peony and some blue delphinium. On the day of the wedding many items were actually not delivered that I paid for leaving an empty sweetheart table , cake table , welcome sign and two additional centerpieces. The flowers used in the centerpieces were very sparse and each had loads of lemon leaves with burnt holes in them and a few (3) Costco quality roses and one hydrangea stem. This was not the vision we had talked about and had I bought each heirloom rose from the stand on my own the centerpieces would have been less that what I was charged for the carelessly crafted arrangements. The welcome urn had fern leaves and lemon leaves ( I had specifically asked for these fillers not to be used ). My daughter's bouquet was wrapped stems with brown ribbon. It looked nothing like the photos we sent and more like how they would wrap flowers when you pick them up at the stand . I asked the owner if I should source the blue silk ribbon to be used in the brides bouquet and was told no . When I called from the venue saying I didn't think the bouquet was there after seeing what was dropped off. The response I got was "you are going to hate the center pieces ": I had asked for white ranunculus for the boutonnières and showed up to find the same large white "Costco" quality roses large and bulky to pin on suits . When I confronted on these items the day of the wedding and the next day via text the owner got defensive and pretended it was our problem that we got shorted on items and they spent little thought and attention to details spoken, and paid for my daughter s reception. I was met with a dismissive attitude and zero professionalism. There was no pride in services delivered or items not delivered have not been reimbursed . This complete lack of accountability and care as a vendor or business owner was absolutely shocking . All our other vendors used locally were professional and har working and made for a lovely celebration in the end. After numerous conversations I am told I will be reimbursed soon for items not delivered but they don't know how to go about this as they have never had to refund . Maybe they never forgot to deliver items paid for and agreed upon . DO NOT use them !! Terribly unprofessional! read more

Just tell them what kind of flowers your special someone likes (which you should already know), or their favorite color(s) and leave the rest in their capable hands. They might be a bit more spendy in comparison to nearby vendors, but the service and quality is worth it. You can try to save a few bucks from the grocery store or even going online, but giving a specially prepared bouquet from CFL to someone and seeing the reaction is just priceless. If we could give them Zero starts we would. We called and ordered a flower arrangement and made sure to tell them we wanted it colorful and to be delivered to the Chez Loma in Coronado. When we got to the restaurant we saw an arrangement on the table that did not look close to what we said we wanted. It was an anniversary present and we were embarrassed with the sad looking arrangement and what was supposed to be an exciting and happy day was a little disappointing after we paid around 100 dollars for the arrangement. We called that same day and left a VM and did not hear back from them until the second time we left a VM only for them to tell us that the case alone was 30 dollars and that they for lots of compliments on the arrangement. When you call and specifically order something that you want, let them know you want it bright and colorful but you get the opposite for an anniversary is pretty disturbing. After I ordered, was called and told very rudely that the flowers I ordered were no longer available as they decided for Mother's Day to only allow people to order the flowers that were called "Designer's Choice" and over $65.00 and my order was being cancelled. I understood and went to order other flowers at another company. However, the flowers were still delivered AND I was charged, despite being called the night before and told my order was too low to be filled. I called to clarify this and ask why the flowers were still delivered and now I was told that the flowers will need to be RETURNED in order to receive a refund. This was their mistake and they charged me for something I was told I was refunded for? Do not order from this company. No customer service, no sympathy for their mistake and I will never oder from them. Use another company and save yourself the grief. read more
