The shop itself is pretty vibrant and spans two floors. They carry a wide range of apparel--from vintage pieces to newer items and even costumes. Customer Service: Awesome. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall: 5 stars. They had exactly what I needed, right when I needed it. Instead, Garment D. Is Organized, spotless and straight-up vibey. Two full floors to roam. Hot-pink walls, black-and-white checkerboard floors like stepping into an 80s music video. It's quirky, loud and proudly vintage. Everything's sorted with precision: pants with pants, denim with denim, tops with tops. These folks don't play around. And yeah, the majority of the clothing here is all use. But like I always do- I buy my stuff, take it home (or the cleaners), wash it and it snaps back looking like new. By the way- they do carry some new items- as in not used as well. My daughter and I bought some vintage denims, sweaters and a few other things. Zero mess. Zero stress. 100% unexpected.

For a seemingly smallish place, they have an outstanding selection of both costume, themes, costume, accessories, and all at different price points. We were looking for some ribbons to tie the gift boxes. We thought Party City would be a good place…read moreto find it. I was extremely confident that I would find it here. Upon entering, I saw that the store is well organized. Staff was busy stocking up. It would be nice if the staff can do this in the earlier shifts when they have less customers. I tried to find the ribbons myself because the staff looked very busy in their work. I checked 3 aisles but unfortunately I could not find the ribbons. Finally, I saw an employee walking around and asked her if she can help me in finding the ribbons. It took me some time to explain exactly what I want.. She was not sure if they keep those in the store (?) ...which is weird. But she said she will check and she checked the same aisles that I had already checked. Then she sent me to another employee who looked more senior and the senior employee apologized to me as they don't have those ribbons and suggested me to go to the JOANN fabric store on the opposite side of the road. If the staff was available to help the customers instead of stocking up and if they knew what they sell (or don't sell), I would have saved around 20 minutes and left the store in a happier mood.

I politely clarified and asked again that I couldn't just get one balloon for my brothers birthday, to which in a snide manner they remarked "lots of people are celebrating things..." I get the importance of preparing online orders, but not at the expense of an in person drop in for ONE balloon. Imagine a fully staffed bakery denying you one muffin (or saying there was a three hour wait) because they were preparing online orders!? Strange comparison I know, but equally outrageous scenario as each would have taken 20seconds. This may seem super petty but this is SUCH a lousy customer service practice. Thank you Stop & Shop for the ballon.
