We were looking for some ribbons to tie the gift boxes. We thought Party City would be a good place to find it. I was extremely confident that I would find it here. Upon entering, I saw that the store is well organized. Staff was busy stocking up. It would be nice if the staff can do this in the earlier shifts when they have less customers. I tried to find the ribbons myself because the staff looked very busy in their work. I checked 3 aisles but unfortunately I could not find the ribbons. Finally, I saw an employee walking around and asked her if she can help me in finding the ribbons. It took me some time to explain exactly what I want.. She was not sure if they keep those in the store (?) ...which is weird. But she said she will check and she checked the same aisles that I had already checked. Then she sent me to another employee who looked more senior and the senior employee apologized to me as they don't have those ribbons and suggested me to go to the JOANN fabric store on the opposite side of the road. If the staff was available to help the customers instead of stocking up and if they knew what they sell (or don't sell), I would have saved around 20 minutes and left the store in a happier mood. read more

I needed one ballon. One. Three employees told me it would be a three hour wait due to online orders- no other in person shoppers were waiting. Just two in line checking out other purchases. I politely clarified and asked again that I couldn't just get one balloon for my brothers birthday, to which in a snide manner they remarked "lots of people are celebrating things..." I get the importance of preparing online orders, but not at the expense of an in person drop in for ONE balloon. Imagine a fully staffed bakery denying you one muffin (or saying there was a three hour wait) because they were preparing online orders!? Strange comparison I know, but equally outrageous scenario as each would have taken 20seconds. This may seem super petty but this is SUCH a lousy customer service practice. I needed large cake boxes, and called the store to see if they had any in stock. Whoever answered immediately said, "no, we don't have those." I went back on their website to get the number of another store. As I was searching, I noticed you can do in-store pick up. I found the box I needed, searched nearby location, and saw that the box I had asked about was available at this Natick location. Talk about horrible customer service. The whole order pick-up process is very weird, too. You go to the counter, give them your name, and that person calls over to another person, who comes to the front to get the customer's info again and then goes to the back to retrieve the order. This employee literally just runs back and forth to the back with each order. There were two or three customers in line...you'd think it would be more efficient to just write down the order #s/last names, and bring all 3 orders up at the same time. Or maybe even leave fulfilled ordered in the front, behind the counter. The time it takes for the employees to track down orders and bring them to the front is the same amount of time you'd need to locate the items in the store yourself, and check out. Frankly, I've never had a great customer service experience at any party city location, so I wasn't surprised. I was more annoyed by the fact that whoever answered the phone was too lazy to even call someone to check if the item I needed was in stock. read more

Clean large store with plenty of parking. Nicely organized but had to hunt down staff to get look for costume. (This was early afternoon when there was probably 5 customers in the store) The custom wall said it came in a XL size which the store didn't even carry! Update the wall please! read more

They just renovated the inside of this store. It has a much larger selection than the other close location in Worcester. The balloon selection is much smaller than it use to be. And according to the news Iparty was bought out by PartyCity... read more

I ordered a bunch of balloons online yesterday 2 hours prior, was able to pick them up exactly at the specified time. Balloons were perfect! Kelly at the front was so pleasant, she was really nice to everyone even though it was extremely busy. She took the time to explain the process of ordering and wasn't annoyed at all as I'm sure she gets asked these questions every 5 minutes. AWFUL! I made the mistake of coming here over the weekend. I needed some supplies for my son's birthday party and needed to order some balloons. The building itself is not very accessible for carts. The doors are double, not automatic AND you have to pull. Try doing that with a kid in a cart! Once we got inside we found everything that we were looking for, however the isles are really narrow and the staff so unhelpful that they were borderline rude. I went to the balloons and the girl behind the counter said hi, but then proceeded to turn her back on us and have a conversation with another employee. I said excuse me several times and got no response. FINALLY the other employee walked away and I got her attention. They didn't have what I wanted, but I found something on special that would work. OK fine, now we're getting ready to check out and they're having issues with the scanners. They had to manually type in everything. It took FOREVER. And as if that wasn't bad enough some idiot precariously stacked cartons of silly string right on the corner of the cash wrap (which is so narrow that 2 carts can't each be checking out at the same time even though the registers are back to back) and my cart caught the edge of it and knocked them all down. Wouldn't you know none of the employees lifted a finger to help me pick them up? If I didn't have balloons on order I wouldn't bother to go back. Typically I love IParty, but this place SUCKS! Next year I'll drive 45 minutes to Burlington or my fave place in Albany, NY before I'll come back here! read more

I had a list of things I needed, The store is jam packed with party 'stuff'. The seasonal stuff (currently Halloween) was all over the place, in a good way - a huge selection. I had alot of questions regarding balloons, sizes of balloons, and I also needed 50 weights, 25 of which they didn't have. The woman that helped me was so nice. She called another store and reserved them for me, and let me keep my coupon so I could use it at the other store. They don't ship stuff between stores, so I had to drag myself to the Leominster store the next day. I'm not gonna lie, it was a total pain in the as%, but I needed them so I put myself through the torture of the long drive. Whatever, I got what I needed, it is what it is and I will go back. So I took my daughter and son shopping this morning for balloons. It was my sons 5th birthday. My kids were barely acknowledged and it was my sons 5th birthday. Hence the birthday balloons, the 5 candle, and the gift bag fillers. My daughter got a hold of a jigsaw cute it was 60 cents and she was in the front of the cart. My baby is 7 months old. I took it out of her mouth and wiped it off. Sandy the cash register lady said "can you just hold that for me so I can scan it, she got slobber all over it with the nastiest face." I had no problem with it... that's fine! It wouldn't scan though so she said in a rude demanding way, "JUST READ THE NUMBERS THEN" and sighed... I read it 3 times. She out loud gagged a wiped off cube she didn't even touch at all. Gives my innocent daughter a filthy look and said "EW GROSS." Then tells me to fill out a survey. So not only will I be doing that. I recently made a purchase for a relatives 50th birthday, and I wanted to get some "joke" gifts for them... I walked into iParty and browsed through their birthday gift/ favors selection, and I was impressed. They had a lot of funny products that I ended up purchasing, like a pretend Cane that had a "50" joke written on it, a few funny T shirts making fun of the age "50" in addition to other humorous products. The store has a large selection and has everything you would need for either birthday gifts, party favors, even ice cream birthday cakes! Highly reccommend! read more

The customer service at Party City is horrible. It takes forever to find an employee to ask for help, and they had one person at the register for a long line of people. When I asked twice if someone else could process my purchase, I was told no, but they were just standing around doing nothing. I was also told that someone was coming to help and would be right there, but after several extra minutes of waiting, I gave up, left, and ordered the item on Amazon. I also called ahead of time to clarify the price and quantity of an item I saw online. The person who answered said they wouldn't spend the time on the phone checking and that I had to come in. Their selection is good, but service is awful. Avoid Party City!! read more

the place is usually clean, I was there awhile ago with my son cause he was desperate for a costume, they had hundreds of costumes on the back, but I could not reach and check it out, so I ask 2 employees if the had the specific costume, all the said was "that's all we have" they didn't check at all...so on my way out, the cashier ask if I found everything that I was looking for, them I said NO, them I explained to her and right the way she called someone and YES they did have what I was looking for!!! just need a more effort on some employee's. read more

Not one to do bad reviews, because I know how hard it is working in retail. I went in and the people on the floor were nice, even grabbed something because they didn't have it I was looking but I was on the top shelf, the minute I went to the register the female cashier gave me attitude because she had to go back to the register. So I went to the register with the light on it, she proceeded to give me attitude and tell me to go to the other one. Then she did not pay attention to the products and rang up them all the same when they were different sizes and prices. Then she proceeded to ask if I was sure, like I hadn't pick them out myself. I was here a couple days ago the staff was fantastic, completely different staff. This one cashier, who is female is why I will never come to this location again. I understand retail is hard but it's not that hard to be friendly. Also you should not ask a customer if they're sure if they got all different products when they were here to days ago getting the same thing.My recommendation is to go to Bellingham read more
