Even though we told the salesman we weren't buying, he still showed us around, compared brands and prices and spent nearly an hour with us. I live in one of the largest cities in the country and can promise that customer service like that isn't so easy to come by. They had some really nice, sturdy and well made furniture and I would recommend them. Chris was great and I would happily buy all my furniture from him if I lived here.

I would advise any potential shopper to get clarification about removal of an old mattress. Even if…read moreit's on your contract, they won't take it if there are any stains - even if they say they will at the store when you are purchasing a new one. Years of pets, kids etc., no used mattress will be clean unless its wrapped in a plastic bag. Even the delivery guy said he has heard from many customers that the salesperson did not clarify this. Called the store and they did not acknowledge their omission of the facts or offer to remove the mattress. I shopped there as they advertise removal of the old mattress. Do yourself a favor and ask specific questions and get it in writing. If not, you are on the hook to dispose of your old mattress. I have spent a lot of money in the Lakewood store over the years. I will not shop at R&F in the future. Very poor customer service. There's plenty of other places to get furniture.

So anyways was cleaning my daughter's room under her bed noticed it wasn't right. We took off mattresses and they had set things under it and didn't finish setting up, things weren't tighten and things were stripped out. Yes, it was later on but they said use the warranty but we had to take down old and bring in slats to get new. We do this and they don't have them now my bed is in my living room for sometime now and my daughter has to sleep on the couch. They literally said they would call us in 24 to 48 hours. No one has called we called them 6 times and no answer. Called different locations and told them we could t get ahold of them and they took our numer and said they would call back but honestly I'm really starting to doubt this is getting fixed and honestly I would even pay even though I believe u guys are highly in the wrong I just would like to be able to move in my house and use my beds again. They also have custom "in house" pickled cucumbers and other pickled items jarred along with various garlic and other seasonings in a blend nowhere else to be found. They also carry various canned specialty jellies and other items along with hanging and other flower plants. Though Big Joe is now in his 90's and rarely if ever present, his sons carry on his tradition of pleasant friendly helpful service and prepare many of the items exactly the same way he did. If I could give you just one tip, it would be to try the cheese. It's one of the best I've ever had.
