Very rude employees! I was waiting my turn in line next to check out when an older gentleman employee told me I was cutting, which I wasn't, and he looked at me and told me "do you cut the line at grocery stores like this" and rolled his eyes. Would not come back here and waste my money. read more

I was in the store today. I was holding cards I wanted to purchase and salesperson said she'd hold them at the front. She rang up "my" cards and I left the store. Three hours later, at home, i saw that the cards were not mine. I called to tell he what happened and she said I could come get them. I said I could not (too far), and was hoping to continue talking to figure out a solution when she hung up on me. read more

This is absolutely my wife's favorite store. We simply love the selection. Their prices are fair, the quality is very high and the staff running the store are lovely people. This would include Carol and Lonnie the owners. They have an incredible ability to make this store a fabulous & interesting shopping experience with wonderful selections of clothing and other items. I can't say anything negative about it. But I particularly like is the fact this is been in the family since 1903. Same building. It's a delight to shop here. Used to be a fan. This year they've added a bossy sign outside starkly giving a list of prohibited things at their store. Merchandise is nice, but exponentially overpriced. I like to shop at independent stores and am willing to pay a premium, but not like this. Employees don't greet you and during my most recent visit, they were regularly in my way and I'd have to say "excuse me" just to see the merchandise. Not a pleasant experience. read more

I was visiting from the midwest. I felt the woman at the counter was a bit on the rude side. She never moved to greet us, and she didn't even look up. No eye contact at all, and just said let her know if we wanted anything. The store was laid out nice and very bright, but I felt the items were over-priced for the quality. I know resorts charge higher to make money during the summer season, but could be a bit more reasonable for what they were selling. read more

Great store, wonderful things, HOWEVER, hate to support a very nasty owner.who does not appreciate this high end clientele. It is so bad, that during a recent exchange, others in the store actually approached the owner and said they were leaving if thats how the management treats its clientele. Really a shame, bc the girls working there are very nice, but never ask for a return, a refund or question any merchandise. Please shop and enjoy bemus point but give your business to a store that appreciates its customers. If customers walk out bc the management is mistreating a customer, there are better places to spend your hard earned money. What a shame!!! Great little town. read more
