Took my husband here for Father's Day and will definitely be returning! Their name is actually Crestview at Riverside so I am not sure if there was a recent name change or what but anyway, our server, Allison was incredible. She brought us a small appetizer to try (coleslaw, dill pickle chips, onion slices and you layer it on a club cracker - try it! I promise it is a weird but interesting flavor). Husband ordered the special- ribs with sides of baked beans, mac & cheese, coleslaw, and banana pudding. I had the hamburger steak loaded baked potato. Both were delicious. I then had the chocolate lava cake and it was truly amazing. The decor is clean and minimalistic which gives modern air but also comforting. The cove is pretty good, it's a little hidden and off the beaten path but the waiters have always been good, I've never had a issue with my food the multiple times I've ate there, I'd suggest the fried mushrooms, they also have a large selection of cakes and pies that are very tasty, usually the cove is half packed or less, I hardly ever have a wait time but that's not a reflection of the food. read more

Possibly the best fried chicken fingers I have ever had and the desserts are great. Out of the way but we'll worth the trip.

Just had the best shrimp and fish. What made it so good, it was fresh and the shrimp wasn't over cooked.

I really enjoyed the food the atmosphere, just a good country place to eat with excellent food! I would recommend The Cove at Riverside.

Very nice people. The food varies from day to day. Some days are better than others. You can always get a salad and sandwich. But not a fan of the Italian food. Noodles are over cooked and not drained. The Lasagna lacks garlic and spices. We tried not sure we will go back. read more

What a marvelously delicious place to eat. Country cooking at its finest, I had a chopped steak with onions and it was so yummy with the mashed potatoes and gravy. I also had an appetizer of fried corn nuggets and my oh my they were tasty. They had karaoke in the restaurant on the Thursday night I was there ( stayed at their hotel there ) and it was so much fun, the community comes out and it's like a family atmosphere. Please do yourself a favor and go have a meal here soon. We were at Weiss Lake for a week and had a chance to eat here twice and it was fantastic. I was very impressed by the entire staff as they really try hard to make sure you have a good time and a great meal. Very convenient to the Cedar Bluff area especially for those living on the lake. They have karaoke a few nights a week and they also have live music on Saturday nights. Their only flaw to me is that they are so far away from where I live. I will be back soon. This is by far the best restaurant we could have ever opted to try. They were close to closing and we called just to see how late they may be open when they told us to come on and they would be glad to wait for us. We had a party of six and they already had a place prepared when we got there, which was 15 minutes to close. Not only did we get the absolute best service the food was amazing. We had a variety of fried catfish, steak, country fried steak, and blackened catfish along with side items, appetizers, and desserts that were also amazing. The whole experience was awesome and I highly recommend a drive out to enjoy their great service, fabulous food, desserts, and also the friendly atmosphere. The appetizer onion rings were the best part of the meal, after that the meal went downhill... We each ordered the catfish fillet meal with hushpuppies, pintos, and coleslaw... The catfish and pintos were good, but the coleslaw was horrible along with some of the worst tartar sauce I have ever had... The hushpuppies were overly done with the primary flavor of burned cornmeal... Instead of offering to replace the hushpuppies and something other than the coleslaw, all we got was a "don't care whether you like it or not" attitude... To cap off the experience, the owners insulted my character by saying "don't go thinking you are getting a free meal"... I told them that I wished I had gone elsewhere, and they replied by telling me that people had come all the way from Atlanta to eat their food... read more
