CYO BAKE POTATO - broccoli and cheddar cheese

The fooooood - wowwwww! the amount of food they give you is another wowwww! The customer service is another wowwww lol!! I had called in my food over the phone and the service was so nice . Plus I was already nervous being as though that was my first time actually ordering from this place & boy did they make me feel like I would order from them again. The amount that I paid for the amount of food I received was very nice & I had got the chilli that was turkey and the CYO bake potato and I was full for the whole day! If you're ever in the center city area of Philadelphia and you want something good , but you don't want to spend a lot of money! I would forsure recommend that you to them!

Italian salad (artichokes instead of olives)

I was very skeptical at first about Coventry Deli. How can a deli next to an office building be decent? Quoting multiple texts to my husband on multiple occasions, this place is legit. The item that finally inspired me to write this review was their chicken noodle soup. Not only did the broth have a good flavor, there were large pieces of white meat chicken swimming in it. As far as paninis, I was impressed that they make them from "scratch" before your eyes. I received an option of sourdough or rye and they built out the sandwich before pressing it. I must be jaded my the abundance of pre-made paninis. I've also taken a liking to the Italian salad, minus the olives. It's made of fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers and plum tomatoes. Some lunch salads are so wimpy, but this is far from the case. I was literally blown away by the baked goods. I thought someone was lying when they said the sweet potato cheesecake was from Coventry Deli. I could've sworn it was from a fancy NYC bakery. It's even better that I've barely started chipping away at the many varieties of lunch and breakfast offerings. I'll no longer snub my nose at the little deli next to an office, but embrace it as a diamond in the rough.

The woman who answers the phone is so rude. Just had food delivered in center city and they forgot the dressing. When I called to tell them she abruptly responds it will be on its way and slams down phone. I'm not the one who forgot the dressing, you are so why are you getting mad at me. Double check the orders before releasing them for delivery. It's not brain surgery putting food in a bag. Rude, rude people. I believe she is the owner but not positive. Also, the cucumber they used in my salad is mushy, taste funny and obviously old. Quality and service has definitely gone downhill over the years. Very disappointed in Coventry deli.

The cauliflower is cooked so well... it has a nice bite to it without being a raw crunch. I've also tried all of the other seasonal plates over the summer and early fall. Sweetgreen always adds several new feature items to its array of options each season. We get to experience items like mozzarella balls, heirloom tomatoes, maple glazed brussel sprouts, jammy tomatoes, and more all for a reasonable price. The salads and bowls are all well thought out combinations, but I like to mix it up a little bit by adding my favorites and subtracting other items. The beautiful thing is the total transparency of the price right on the app. As you build your salad or bowl, your final price is updated continuously. The app is great! My favorite meat protein is the roasted chicken. It is done REALLY WELL. Like... they deserve a prize of some kind for the chicken... at least for the Sweetgreen on 18th and Chestnut. I'm not as fond of the salmon or the garlic steak, but your mileage may vary. You might really like them. Every veggie is always super fresh. And service is always with a smile. Whoever is hiring the current crew is doing a great job because the food is always prepared really well and the servers are always really nice. Thank you, Sweetgreen, for your continued excellence!

The grainy and grassy are not flavors or components I desire in a meal especially as the star. My fiancée was craving Sweetgreen so I saught out the item that I "could" enjoy most. Hot honey chicken bowl. Remove the sweet potatoes, swap the quinoa for a rice, and give me somethings that would provide different compliment for this bowl and it'd be a rockstar. For now, its fine. It's manageable but not cravable. It's an oddity on a menu that isn't tailored to my taste buds. So for that, its a win - not an amazing one but a serviceable one.

The difference between the day shift and the later night shift is crazy. The people working during the day are consistently rude to me, give smaller portions, and no matter what I do (and I notice it's with everyone not just me) they always act like they hate us lol. The people working later, I'd say past 6pm, are generally a LOT nicer, give much better portions, and are just super sweet and treat you the way you'd assume you'd be treated.
