Wanted to try this place and it was a Sunday eve about 4:30. I tried calling till 6 pm and nothing but a busy signal. I figured I might as well go and place the to-go order at the restaurant. When I get there the parking lot is half full, but not super busy. When I go in, the greeter said order take-out at the bar. I explained to the bar hostess that I been trying to call for a hour and a half and she said they turn off the phone when they get busy and now the wait will be 45 min to a hour for take out. If I was running this place and knew my seasonal business is turning away take out orders and we were not busy, I'd rethink being in the restaurant business. read more

We went on our 100mile lunch run from Fairmount city PA to Linesville just to have lunch! Opened at 11 and we arrived at 11:45- good time before the rush. This restaurant was big, with a rustic charm, and one of the waitresses hand made bracelets and glass stem charms out of beads. Very cute. T-shirts with the restaurant logo sold there also. The menu is huge and also has a children's menu. handicapped parking and entrance available. We had 4 ppl in our party so we ordered 2 Grilled chicken salads, which were very large. A Rodeo burger that was was stacked with bacon jam, bacon BBQ sauce and onion straws, with home made chips and my sister had a fried chicken sandwich, which was huge. I got the chicken Alfredo. I would say it was just ok. My husband got the wings and he said they were great as well as the fries. We sat at the bar and the bartender seemed very busy even though there wasn't that many people in the restaurant. She wasn't very sociable and made us feel bad that we wanted another round of Blackberry Mojitos that were actually the best ones we've had! I would recommend getting a mojito. We live in the area and were trying to find a place to grab dinner on those days when you just don't feel like cooking at home. We tried their chicken pizza along with an appetizer of wings and both were good. The only downside was that the table top was a bit sticky. A few weeks later, we were in the mood for pizza, and decided to order a take out pizza. When we got it home and opened the box, we were extremely disappointed. The pizza was soggy and not at all like the one we had enjoyed during our previous visit to this place. I would give this 3 stars for eat in, 1 star for take out, so an average of 2. read more

Party of 48! The staff were welcoming, with water pitchers on the ready (we'd all been at a funeral) and offering coffee, tea, and bar drinks. Within 15 minutes they were taking appetizers orders and those began arriving in 10 minutes. Then the entree orders were placed. Came here for an early dinner to avoid a crowd during covid-19. We were seated quickly at a booth. The area we were in didn't have many other people. We tried the Yuengling Hershey Chocolate Porter. It was so good, we got two. We ordered hush puppies to start, they were good. I ordered the pot roast sandwich, with homemade potato chips. The chips were super good, especially dipped in ketchup. The sandwich was also tasty, lots of cheese and horsey sauce. Others in the party ordered the rodeo burger... Yum. Salmon which they said was good. Breaded shrimp dinner also was good. We loved this restaurant under previous owners. It used to have great service, great food, and short wait times. So, family tried it under new ownership. Waited 20 minutes to get a table when there were clearly at least 10 empty tables we could see from the door. Once seated, we waited almost an hour for food. Waitress brought us drinks, offered refills before we got our food, eventually brought food, and then never came back to check on us or refill drinks. They never gave our daughter silverware and didn't bring it when we asked for it. Food was ok, but definitely not worth the wait and horrible service. Will not go back. Food prices were quite high. Ordered in the car on our way up to Crawford County for the eclipse. Order was ready when we got there. They were busy but on the ball. We got two different kinds of wings. Their wings are always good. Also ordered onion rings. Their onion rings are the best around...hand dipped. Food is always hot and ready for pick up when you order head. The food and service are usually up to par. The atmosphere is cozy. Service is friendly and attentive but could use improvement. (They forgot our order somehow and it didn't seem very busy) but people are human. Overall I recommend this business and it's one of the top choices for the area. Gets super busy in the summer during tourist season. Located next to Pymatuning and there's a bike/walking trail nearby so you can go for a walk after dinner to burn some of those calories. I have never felt so disrespected by a bartender. I, as well as several family members, went in on a Saturday night to grab a few drinks. Any question I had was responded to with a snarky remark. My sister had barely any liquor in her mixed drinks, but you can be sure the person who put their card down always had their drink refilled. If you don't feel comfortable serving a group of young adults (who are all of age), then we should have been told that from the start and we would have left with no issue. Two of us work in the service industry, and understand there are long nights. However, being treated how we were is not justified when we tried to be nothing but understanding. read more

Stopped in on a Thursday for a late evening dinner. We were promptly greeted by a very nice hostess and seated in the dining room. This is a very nice bar/restaurant which is family friendly. Our waitress, Chelsea, was very kind and helpful with our decisions as to what to have-we had the pulled pork sandwich and the Italian Smashed sausage sandwich-both with waffle fries and everything was DELICIOUS! Tender pulled pork (no fat!) finely shredded in a nice barbecue sauce piled high on a fresh bun with crunchy, creamy coleslaw. So good! The Italian sausage was equally tasty with green peppers and onions with sauce. The waffle fries were crispy, flavorful and plentiful! Our waitress suggested the Mile High peanut butter pie-and although it was not "mild high"--the flavor was!!! Delicious peanut butter filling with mini chips and the chocolate crust was the best part! It was covered in a chocolate coating with bits of peanut butter cups on top. Fantastic! Good thing we shared this because we were stuffed and happily satisfied when we rolled out of there-LOL! I think we've found a gem here and we will definitely be returning-VERY SOON! Food was really good. Definitely a "local" hot spot. Lots of beer choices. Menu was on the smaller side, but it encompasses the usual choices. Lots of appetizers to choose from. My hamburger was cooked to perfection, extra juicy. Our server was very friendly, as was the entire staff. We had a small wait time for a table, but we found a seat at the bar and waited. One of my favorite bars in the area, they have a nice little back dining area if you don't want to sit at the bar where it's loud. I always get the boneless wings with the beer battered fries. My husband and I ordered salads to go. I asked for dressing on the side. My husband's dressing was on the side, but mine was not. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, and it was dripping with dressing and balsamic drizzle. I was unable to eat it and had to throw it away. What a waste of money! Went there on a Saturday night. I waited at the bar for 10 minutes, two women at the bar did not even make eye contact with me. One woman felt it was more important to wash glasses then serve product to the customers. The other one seem to focus in on one particular guest and kept adding dessert orders and other items for these people. Every other customer at the bar was virtually ignored during these 10 minutes. Needless to say the bartenders need more training and too understand priorities of ensuring customers are acknowledged and waited on. Now the food, once we were seated the service was much better. They told us they would be a 45 minute wait, but we only ended up waiting about 20 minutes for a seat. I had an oyster Po boy sandwich and it was delicious. My friend had the lobster ravioli as well and loved it. They had a couple of great drink specials like the maple Manhattan which was made very well. They also had a caramel apple sangria which was delicious! Overall I would give this a 3.5 stars for the whole experience, food was good, bar service was lacking, but will round it up because I still understand the staffing shortages with Covid. read more
