I got such a great price on all the flowers I bought . I would drive here over going somewhere close to me. The flower market is the way to go.

Went here on Friday and I do not think this place is worth it whatsoever. I was highly disappointed…read moreafter wanting to go here for over a decade. First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that.When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.

Upon arrival we met with Gladys at the flower shop and assured us the secured delivery and knew exactly where to deliver. We placed our order and as you know funeral arrangements are not cheap. On the day of the service, we went to the cemetery and when we arrived, we noticed our specific arrangements ordered from this place were thrown on the ground and broken, with roses out of place and in the ground, while the other arrangements from other shops were nicely placed and displayed. as a grieving family, you would want everything to go as plan, smooth and beautiful, as appreciation for your loved one. My husband called Gladys, and spoke to him and said that the arrangements were placed at the gravesite, but yet when she sent the pictures, it was no where near our grandbaby's site. Very disappointed that after talking with her, she was adiment that it was not her delivery workers but instead blamed it on Rose Hills. My husband all he wanted from Gladys and the flower shop to take responsibility for the misdelivered of the flowers arrangements and destruction. Please do not place your orders with this shop, unless you want these arrangements destroyed.

I was able to send photos of past arrangements of hers that I liked via text message and photos of the cymbidium orchids that my grandma used to grow. Little Tokyo Florist at first quoted a higher price than I was expecting, but was able to lower the price and include as many orchids as possible within my budget. It turned out that a lot of orchids fit within the budget! The design of the spray was very beautiful, as I expected from photos of her work on Yelp. Delivery was $40 and the spray was $300, not including tax. After tax the total was $373.15. The flowers lasted a long time after the service, so we definitely got some fresh flowers.

We then went on by showing him what we wanted and the specific flowers. We wanted peonies but it wasn't its season anymore the wedding was in September so we just missed it's peak. He was very straight forward about the flowers and that he would try and get what we wanted but would let us know if he couldn't. We didn't get the color specifically we wanted but he worked his magic to make it look just as perfect. All in all the bouquet was everything we wanted! Would highly recommend. As artists we have to be innovative and looking for new opportunities to grow, as entrepreneurs we have to have strong conviction and energy for what we do. Carolyn fulfills any aspect of art and makes it her own with a distinct signature style. I was approached by Carolyn to create something different. We worked on a elopement styled shoot where I was creating a film, while she was creating floral arrangements. Everything was ready to go! The beautiful shrubs, boutonniere, bridal flowers and last but definitely not least: the flower crown. Her signature piece that certainly adds to any brides (or grooms) ensemble. It's the new accessory brides (any myself) are fawning over, and the item that is going to grow evermore popular within the coming years in the wedding industry. Carolyns intuition and passion leaded her on the path to flower crowns and add her own twist to it. I believe that other florists will be walking in her footsteps in the coming years because of her forward thinking, genuine personality and unmistakable talent for what she does! The Crown Collective's DIY Flower Crown Bar was a huge hit at my 50th birthday tea party! Nickie and the other floral designers were warm, friendly, welcoming, and helpful as they guided my guests to make their own creations or helped select the perfect crown from a few pre-made crowns. They even talked my husband into wearing a flower crown! The selection of flowers and greenery they brought was absolutely gorgeous, and enabled some truly stunning flower crown creations. Carolyn consulted with me to make the perfect, special, custom crown to match me and my dress, and it really made me feel beautiful! Carolyn was AMAZING! I can't say enough! At first, I was apprehensive using any vendor that didn't come from personal reference ( I found her on yelp), but her organization in booking my event so last minute put me immediately at ease! Upon her arrival to my event, my expectations were beyond exceeded from the gorgeous set up presentation to the incredible amounts of flowers she brought for the crowns! I had a larger party and was worried about fitting everything into my budget and having crowns that made a statement but Carolyn even worked with me on ways to get more bang for my buck by using new materials and designs than your everyday flower crown! Carolyn's flower crowns are absolutely gorgeous!! She designed a graduation crown with Pepperdine's colors that turned out so perfect and used ribbon ties so it could be worn on a graduation cap. She also made the most adorable flower crown for my little 16 month old daughter with beautiful blush toned florals! Highly recommend Carolyn's flower crowns! LOVE LOVE LOVED the crown I ordered from TCC for my sisters Baby Shower. My sister looked absolutely beautiful and she started crying when I gave it to her.
