The perfect place for a perfect latte. I watched as the puck was packed professionally and the breve milk was steamed to a silky 140. My latte was delicious. The beans they chose to use on this day were a medium roast that was probably a blend - but most importantly the espresso was caramel, chocolate, and maybe some raspberry/pineapple hiding under the milk flavors. This place is only a block from the house and such a morning saver. Plenty of coffee options and great tasting. Easy to walk to also and right across from the water so you can take it to go and enjoy the calm on the lake while you drink and wake up. Iced Carmel macchiato was spot on! read more

There isn't much of a choice of coffee shops in the area, so options are limited. The staff was nice and the indoor dining area is a bit choppy. Stopped in for the first time over the July 4 holiday weekend. They were packed (good sign to me), but our order was taken fast and efficiently prepared. I had the iced coffee, which was strong but still smooth. It was excellent. I am not a huge bitter iced coffee person, so I will definitely be back for this again. read more

The Culver Coffee Company offers a fairly standard assortment of coffee drinks, a little loose leaf tea (more for take-home sale, not much for immediate drinking), tasty sandwiches (including breakfast) and even pizza as well as sweet desserts. The roomy lounge area offers mostly tables -- some with a nice view of Lake Maxinkuckee -- and a small couch area near a fish tank. They also sell all kinds of coffee-drinking accessories, cup-and-saucer sets, higher-end dry goods/foods, and a few surprises. Customers can even order a glass of wine. The atmosphere somewhat reflects the upper-class resort town mentality that makes up part of Culver's personality, but the many times I've wandered in, I've never felt snobbery in the least bit. I've spent plenty of time sipping their delicious house blend while working on my computer, and the clientele tends to be a wonderfully interesting mix -- society housewives, the working class folks who keep things running, the local academy instructors and students, and all kinds of people in between. First time in Culver... let's go check out the local coffee shop! Meh. I'm not sure if it's because they were trying to close or they had a busy day or whatever, but something just isn't right when you order a latte and they already have the espresso shots pulled and just sitting there waiting to be poured into a cup with some steamed milk. Half the fun of making a latte is pulling the shot and adding the steamed milk to it! Not letting the shot sit there for a while and then sort of mixing things together... the drinks were tasty anyways and they had a lot of other options. I'd be interested to try their Affogato from the little ice cream shop they have annexed to the coffee shop on some other trip to Culver. Not a bad place, but not a fancy coffee shop either. read more

There's a reason why the line is always out the door and it's because the coffee is delicious! The food is pretty awesome, too, but since coffee and I are basically soulmates I have to say their beans give me butterflies. Hot or iced, they brew a mean cuppa that will start your day the right way. I don't usually drink coffee, but when fall comes around, i'm a sucker for pumpkin anything - ESPECIALLY pumpkin coffee! Walked over here and got a pumpkin moccachino, which surprisingly was iced....it was delicious! But while I greatly enjoyed the taste, I did NOT enjoy the price!!! For the smallest size pumpin drink and a small latte, I paid almost $10! That is more expensive than starbucks coffee! I could not believe it! So while the coffee is quite delicious, I think I will be keeping my $5 per cup and buying something more productive... read more

Wonderful little coffee house right down by the water! My wife and I are coffee nuts.. We were in town and stumbled across this place while in need of an afternoon pick-me-up. We enjoyed our drinks so much that we stopped by a second time the following day. We got our drinks and left, both times... In total, we tried 4 items and enjoyed all of them greatly. The atmosphere is casual, comfy, and ... coffee-house esque... Being right near the water, we sat at a table outside and drank our drinks, having a pleasant afternoon. I went to the Culver Coffee shop this morning with my friend. She got a cup of coffee and I got some chickens. It tastes good although the chicken tastes a little bit salted. The point is we stayed there for more than 2 hours. They had good wifi and chargers by the door. It's a good place to kill time. read more

This is a great coffee shop. The prices are lower than Starbucks. They have some food items and some gifts. There's indoor seating and sidewalk seating. But for us the hot setup is to get coffee and walk across the street to the town park and look at the Lake. read more

My husband, daughter and I go to Culver a few times a year and always make a stop at the Culver Coffee Company. The service is great and the food is fabulous. This past weekend we stopped in for lunch while visiting Culver and enjoyed the Lemon Almond Chicken Salad in the Spinach wrap. Two thumbs and two big toes up! FABULOUS!
