As I sat down…read moreto write this review, I Googled Shear Excitement and found a review I wrote in December of 2006. In it I praised Pattie for great haircuts at a reasonable price. Almost 4 years later, I feel exactly the same way, except she has become more of a family friend who just happens to cut my hair. We always have great conversations. In the time I have been going there, I have held 3 jobs and finished 2 college degrees. She is always genuinely interested in what is going on in my life and I have always enjoyed hearing the stories of her family. When I arrive early, I always see the same types of interactions with her other clients. Her prices have remained almost unchanged since we started going to her ($15 for a guy's haircut with wash). Before we moved to Florissant in 2003, I was driving to a salon in West County and paying over $30 for a haircut that I wasn't as happy with. This was a case where paying more didn't mean better quality. I can't say enough good things about her and would recommend her to anyone.

I called, he worked me in the same day, which is huge for me because I am always traveling for work. He paid attention to exactly what I asked for and that's exactly what I got. I have attempted to get this haircut from several others and no one could ever seem to get even close. My color turned out perfect as well. I'm sold!
